Room & facilities were very clean. Staff was friendly & efficient at their job. Good variety of options at breakfast. Only downside was that we found the pool area was small.

Stayed 3 nights — great all-rounder. Reasonable price, very clean rooms, strong AC, friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location near Arabic restaurants. Pool was nice. Not luxury, but perfect for comfort and value. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was over all okay. They had tons of parties and kids running around all night. The pool area was beyond packed so couldn’t really enjoy it and the beds were super hard.

It was a great stay at the Holiday Inn Express. Comfortable beds, clean lobby and a lot dining options close by. Very close to the performance venue that we came for. Several gym equipment was in the process of repair but it wasn't busy for me.

Overall great stay. Room was updated and clean. Also comfortable beds. Didn’t care for the carpet though. No sign of bugs, ants, roaches etc! Breakfast was decent, Pool was ok, little cold for an inside pool though. Check in was fast & easy. Friendly, helpful staff. Price was reasonable as well.

Excellent hotel! The area is very nice and it is less than a 10-minute drive to the Michigan Lottery Amphitheatre at Freedom Hill. The room was clean and up-to-date. The elevators were very smooth. They offered a wide selection of breakfast items, and the coffee was really good! We did not get a chance to use the pool, but it was very nice as well.

The hotel was clean, quiet, and well maintained. The pool area was nice. Full breakfast was good. Room was spacious and clean. Bed was comfy. The only drawback was the soap in the bathroom had a very strong fragrance. And the chaise lounge in thw room was incredibly uncomfortable.

The Hot tub and Shower was not clean. Couldn't shower because their was stuff on glass doors looked gross.

Online the reviews were good and the price was right! The hotel was very nice and ckean inside and out. The lobby, hallways and elevators are bright. The room was very nice with a fridge, microwave and walk in double glass slidind door shower. The shower head is very gebtle and they have dove body wash, shampoo, lotion and soap. The staff was very pleasant abd the hotel was quiet. They had a good variety of options for breakfast like biscuits and gravy, turkey sausage, eggs and juice. They had cold items as well. I definitely want to stay again!

I booked this place on Expedia got there that night. They told me that they overbooked and they didn’t have a room for me and Said they did have a room available for me they needed a deposit of $100 which I paid which I have not received back to the room garbage everywhere a pile of towels dirty in the shower food garbage, Just overall someone just left that room still haven’t gotten a refund. The general manager argued with my boyfriend saying that he wasn’t gonna fix it, but it was not his problem and he had to go clean it. Had to leave the hotel and drive around and try to find somewhere else.

Nice location, very quiet, clean, great breakfast, and big bathtub for a tall guy is a nice touch.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and it was nice to have a variety of hardness in pillows. Our only complaint was only having 3 bath towels despite the reservation being for 5 adults and the sofa bed hitting the register when we tried to pull it out. After some shifting we were able to get it fully open though it creaked with every move. I appreciated that they had signs up for sports teams addressing behavior before it could start.

The whole reason I booked this hotel over others is because it claimed to have sound proofed rooms. I could hear every word from conversations in the halls and the people above us stomped around all night which kept us from sleeping. I would not come back for this reason.

Our TV did not work in our room

It was great except for someone who sounded like they had elephant steps made alot of noise all night.

We thought there was a Jacuzzi in the room where we could relax and watch tv. It was only a jetted tub in the bathroom. Guess we really need to watch the descriptions closer.

My stay was very LOUD. The walls are paper thin. The pool was average.

the toilet flush did not work properly. The water was running continuously. I end up removing the cover and adjusting the lever to stop the running water. The air conditioner van was very loud.

Extremely firm check in policy. I was told all visitors must wait until 3 PM. I arrived at 1:30 and asked to check in and they didn’t even offer to let me check in when a room became available; I HAD to wait until 3 PM. I understand the check in time is posted, however this is very rarely ever actually enforced and I’ve never experienced a hotel that wouldn’t allow me to check in when a room became available. The lobby had several people all waiting until 3 PM to check in. The lobby also smells like sewage. I thought it was someone in the first floor bathroom, but it smelled that way both days of my trip. Finally, the comforter on my bed was too warm and I asked for something lighter. The only option they have is another bed sheet. There is no mid-weight blanket.

Was extremely unhappy. We were checked in to a 6 person room that had been paid for months earlier. When we got to the room, it was a different type of room that did not accommodate 6 people. The hotel kept us waiting for an hour late at night but did not resolve. It was late and they would not refund. They had us with no choices. We ended up like sardines-I’m sure violating fire code. Essentially, they lied to us about they assigned room did not refund the difference. Manager was extremely uncooperative blaming Expedia. Expedia blamed the property. There were many other things that were poor about the service as well. I highly recommend that you find somewhere else to stay.

Lobby attendant was hard to find for assistance. Did not write room number on cardholder, so had to go back down to get room number

Check in was great. Tony was kind, courteous and professional. He was a big help in letting us know about the exercise facility and was extremely gracious in offering us a different room due to a problem with the toilet, it kept filling up with water. People like Tony, who go the extra mile, are what keep people coming back. Thanks!

My room was very clean and comfortable. The only issue I had was they didn't have the cinnamon rolls as a choice for the complimentary breakfast from Friday to Sunday (also ran out of syrup for pancakes on Sunday). Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this location.

The hotel & room was clean. The beds were comfortable, but I wasn't a fan of the pillows. When we arrived, there was a note on doors saying some of the fire alarms were not working, so they had hall patrol. We asked, and the person at the front desk said it was only a few rooms & ours wasn't one. The fail was breakfast was 7a-10a. My family got down there at 9:30a. My husband & kids got their breakfast (omlets, sausage links, sausage gravy, & biscuits were running low) by time I was done helping my kids and got them settled it was 9:45a when I went up to get my food. Since food was low at 9:30a I assumed it would have been refilled, but no...so I grabbed a yogurt & called it my breakfast. The lady never refilled the food...at 9:55a she started taking the food signs down, shutting off warmers, etc and promptly at 10a she shut the gates. They hotel was full of guest from a wedding. I felt sorry for them & other guest who came down and like me didnt get much breakfast and some none at all. I understand that breakfast ends at 10am, but have been to numerous hotels that when hotel is full, they know they have a lot of guest from a certain event they refill food and make sure everyone who comes down in a resonable time, gets served. So my suggestion is if you want breakfast, be down an hour before it ends at this hotel.
