Very clean, quiet hotel. Loved that it allowed us to take our dog. Nice pool Which the kids enjoyed, just wish it opened a little earlier each day. Great breakfast in the mornings. If you are gluten free, there are no gluten free options to choose from.

Great two night stay in the Detroit metro area. When planning another trip, I will be sure to come back. Positives: -Friendly staff -Clean rooms and facilities -Warm/hot breakfast, with many options (plenty of healthy options, too). A bonus was the waffle maker with various batter options besides the normal (blueberry waffle batter, chocolate waffle batter, etc) -Kitchenette in room -Swimming pool -Laundry facilities -Workout room -Modern outdoor patios -Smoke free -Walk in shower in bathroom -beautiful dining room -very quiet environment (signs were posted, reminding guests to be cognizant of noise) -lots of lighting options in the room I wasn’t a fan of the pets that were allowed, as I’m not an animal lover. However, I’m sure this is a plus for some people. A section of the carpeting in our room was chewed up, I’m sure it was due to a former occupant with a dog. I would suggest heating the pool, or having a hot tub added near the pool. But that is a very minor issue. Thanks for a great stay!

Nice front desk staff, plenty of free parking, very clean. Room for improvement would be the demeanor of the breakfast attendant. A customer spilled some waffle batter on the counter and the employee was clearly annoyed, chastising him for not using it correctly and saying “it’s fine, I’ll get some water and clean it up”. Don’t want waffle batter on the counter? Don’t have a waffle maker. I felt bad for the kid.

The room was very clean. They breakfast buffet was pretty good. the hotel itself was very clean and spacious. I would have loved to have been able to enjoy the patio with the fire pit but we werent there long enough.

A clean hotel with spacious rooms, quiet and had everything you might need for a short stay. Initially upon check in, our assigned room smelled as if it had been smoked in but the staff was very quick to accommodate a new room. Would recommend this property to anyone staying in Sterling Heights.

We checked in on Apr 7. My wife took a shower and picked a rolled-up bath towel from the shelf. Then the most unbelievable thing happened. She found fecal matter on the towel and got it on her skin before realizing it. She felt so terrible and still cannot get it over. I cannot say in words how this ruined our trip.

excellent location, amazing service, big suite with separate bedroom. Super soft sheets and comfortable bed. Only downfall was the pullout couch mattress was too uncomfortable to use; but sleep like a baby on the couch itself! Would stay again and recommend

The stay was great. Room was clean and a decent size! Full kitchen area was great. Parking was a little tight for trucks and the cleaners in the morning were annoying as heck. From 8am until check out they knocked until getting an answer from me every single hour. I didn’t ask for a wake up call but I got three of them prior to checking out.

For me main problem was odor from ac, the windows can not be opened, so we used ac for air, but there was a smell/ odor from ac which made the situation worse. Also we can not select heat/ cool mode. Ac does it depending on temperature which leads 20 min heating, 15 min cooling etc. Bathroom faucet/ sink is outside the bathroom. If sink was in bathroom it would have been great.

The lady at the front desk was stuck up & irritating. She literally followed me to my room to ask me if i was having a party, ithen said no & she continued to question me. I told her i was surprising my husband for his birthday & she then goes to tell me that no guest or gatherings are allowed. I then told her this isnt my first time at this establishment & its for my husband only. She then looks around in MY room and continues to lay down the rules. When i went to leave my room to go ask for ice. I noticed a sign posted on the counter that was not their before that said "no parties or guest allowed at any time". I then felt really offended and walked away.

We have never stayed with this hotel previously! We were super impressed! The front desk staff Devona . She was phenomenal! We felt like we were welcomed home! Have not had that experience often. Will definitely book this hotel on our next stay! From start to finish I would give a 100% thumbs up.

I’m 18, stayed there for a night no problem , month later I go to check in and this rude lady said I can’t stay here and I need to find somewhere else to stay because there 21, after research I seen it was 18 showed the lady and she refused to let me stay and she was very mean about it

It was a great stay! The kitchen staff was AMAZING! They made the experience for us, honestly! The breakfast was great but it was more than that, they were beyond friendly and kind. They made my 2 year old niece excited for breakfast everyday, and us feel so welcomed every single morning. The rooms were clean, and the property was too. We will be back again for our next visit to MI!
