The Lodge on Harrison Lake

Overall, it was great. Stayed at Suite (#4), room was clean and well laid out, nice lake view. The whole area is planned out well with main house, interesting geodome, suites, cabins, cottage house, and facilities. It is away from the main Harrison Hot Springs strip (which is good in some ways) but located right on main road (bit noisy at times).

The property is in an amazing location, very close to the village of Harrison Hot Springs. The setting is beautiful, right on the shores of Harrison Lake, and the lakefront barrel sauna with views of the lake and its islands was a definite highlight. There were two negatives, one of which may not apply to most people. Parking is limited, particularly with larger rigs or trailers (may not apply), and the floors are very noisy. The guest over our suite was heavy-footed, and I swear I've stayed in cheap motels with better-insulated floors. If you're a light sleeper, request a top-floor suite—otherwise, a fantastic place.

The Lodge on Harrison Lake was a delightful surprise. Not a hotel in the traditional sense, it felt much more like an Air B&B stay; there is no lobby or visible staff. Communication with the management was wonderful, and we received a text with the access code to our room, parking information, etc. The room was spotless, appeared recently renovated (though the building itself can't be very old), and was very comfortable. The suites are perched on a steep, rocky slope that hangs over the shore of the lake. Below is the very cool little sauna and a path to the fantastic geodesic dome structure situated on pilings over the lake. Down another path is a lovely area closer to the water, with a dock, a covered outdoor kitchen with gas BBQ and sink, and a fire pit. Firewood is available onsite for purchase or readily available locally at a number of places around the village. The views from our suite were wonderful, the bathroom large and pleasant, and the kitchenette stocked with fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, Keurig (with a selection of coffee & tea). There are utensils and dishes and even a little folding table and chair. The small balcony with two chairs would be amazing in warmer weather. The Lodge is probably two minutes' drive from the village proper, and was a delightful surprise for us on our recent winter getaway weekend. Highly recommended.

Everything was great! my only two suggestions would be putting a lock at the gate the leads down to the Geodome as we had a ton of random people come down on our deck area to look around and take pictures. My only other area for improvement would be the parking.

Perfect place to have fun with your family and friends! But BBQ grill was not cleaned at all :(

Utterly wonderful time at the Lodge with beautiful ennvirons outside and comfortable, modern and clean amenities indoors. The sauna and beach access added tremendously to our stay, with cold plunges and hot sauna time after easing our weary knees after skiing Sasquatch. So close to town yet away from it all, we will be back for sure!

Beautiful views, convenient having the barrel sauna right in front of the main house, was a great place to stay

This is truly the best view in Harrison Hot Springs. The layout of the property is unique and has a great vibe to just chill and take in the serenity of the lake in any season. This venue has unique characteristics like a wood pit and sauna. The room is comfortable.

Great scenery, night view was surreal. Well equipped kitchen, I was happy I brought food to cook. I cannot think of any negative one

Very beautiful property and so nice and relaxing with amazing view. 2 things i would like mention which could make this even better. Sand on the beach area and get rid of the spider webs. Couldn't use the deck area, since it was just gross and found some in the room too. Also some around the property (wood fence, light ficture...) Otherwise what a beautiful piece of heaven.

A few things: firewood was completely drenched so we gave up having a fire after trying for an hour. There was an intermittent sewage smell around the sink area in bathroom. Check-in wasn’t smooth. We didn’t receive an email or text with the door code until I both called and messaged the property, finally receiving it an hour past check-in time. But the location is stunning, sauna was amazing and the room was clean with a gorgeous view.

This property has a very nice view. The suite we booked clean and spacious and had excellent lake views.

Was very clean, comfortable and beautiful views. My wife and I loved it.

One night stay here for a couple and allocated Suite 1. Here are pro's and cons: Pro - location right on the Lake and easy 12 minute walk into town/beach. Clean and modern unit, and surrounding gardens dock, BBQ and entertaining marquee very nice. Con - Suite 1 is very small space with NIL hanging closet only 1 chair, small balcony. Bed is small, only double (not even queen) bed sheets had multiple stains, as does mattress topper. Privacy a major issue. There is a full length glass door to access the small balcony which provides full view into the suite from outside ground level floor below where other guests regularly congregate about 15 feet away. There are full window blinds but a blind or drapes are essential for privacy and owners need to install as a priority. The Main residence is adjoining and can be noisy/loud music at various times during the day or night. Note to management....please fix the balcony door privacy issue, ensure bedding sheets are stain free, a queen bed should be installed as there is still enough space for that, remove the wall hanging wooden fold out table and single chair install cushioned bench under window frame.

The view was amazing, the place was very clean and well-organized, and it had everything we needed. There was really nothing missing. They were also very accommodating with check-in and allowed us to drop off our luggage a few hours before the official check-in time.

The room had a beautiful view, we only stayed one night so we didn't require much but seemed to be well equipped, it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only thing we didn't like were the pillows, they were too thick and hard for our liking we didn't sleep well. So if you have any neck issues bring your own pillow. We didn't reach out to anyone so not sure if there were other options available. Otherwise great place, would stay again!

View was beautiful. SUP was fun. Every light switch was broken. You could hear footsteps from the suite above until 1 am. There was liquid leaking from the AC, which was above the bed. Left clothes behind, cannot reach onsite staff- no return phone calls or emails.

Pros: Amazing location right on the lake, and far enough away that it was really quiet. Cons: No staff on site, and lack of response initially to our inquiries made it tough. The A/C in the unit didn't work with the remote so we had to contact them through text to have them turn it on on their side. Also, the outside space was always covered in spider webs.

Super hot during heatwaves and the AC doesn't work

Room was very small and there was no curtain at door for balcony and no door for bathroom.

The only issue we had during our stay at this property was we unfortunately took the bottom suite, we could hear the above suite walking loudly all night and conversations hence kept us up most of the night. They should sound proof this building way better.

This view was spectacular from the room! The feeling of being out at the lake while having a great room was great. There was noise transfer from people walking around in the room overhead.

We enjoyed our time. Theres a barbeque area but had a hard time figuring it out. I wish someone was there to help us. Everything else was awesome. View was great. Recommended!

The accommodations were absolutely amazing with breathtaking views of Harrison Lake. The only “odd” thing is that there is no staff. Check-in is a code to the lock on the door that is texted to you so there is no one on site should you need something. However, we will absolutely being staying here again for the great rooms, peace and quiet, and views of the lake.

It was a very beautiful experience. The suite was very clean and excellent. The owner was very polite and friendly. And the best and most beautiful part was the view from the room, which I can say was a part of heaven. Thank you Jason Mailhot.

Great first impression. The location was very nice and the stay was clean. Unfortunately, there was a planned outage and we were literally left in the dark for 8hrs. There was no response from the owner regarding updates, no running water, toilets did not function and no emergency candles or flashlights. The only response was a thumbs up emoji the next morning at check out. Too bad as it had a lot of potential.

Great location just outside of town. Super comfortable and would totally stay here again over other places in Harrison Hot Springs I would recommend they cut down the new growth tree that is right between unit 3 and the geodome unit. It blocks the lake views.

When we arrived the accommodation was so cold. No heat had been turned on in anticipation of our arrival. Not sure why but the bath mat was wringing wet and unusable. We were woken multiple time by traffic noise. On the plus side the view is lovely and we enjoyed the sauna.

Beautifully elevated over Lake Harrison. Newly built with modern decor. Lovely balcony. BBQs available. Easy entry and check out. Wifi. A perfect spot for a wedding.

It is an exceptional place. The Lodge has been built with great respect to surrounding nature. Lodge's interior and exterior design as well as landscaping of the entire ground are beautiful as well as resourceful and functional. Great attention to details, style and comfort. We loved the free barrel sauna, perched on the cliff. We stayed in Suite 2. Location is perfect - just in a few minute drive to the downtown of Harrison Springs but away from crowds. We definitely recommend this place.

Overall a very nice experience. I would stay here again. Can be a little noisy with the traffic in the early hours but the fence blocks out most of the noise. The balcony over looked the lake. I did have two starlings hanging out

Very comfortable bed; now want to replace the one at home! Short drive to town for food (2 kilometres). Fantastic views of Harrison Lake — the biggest highlight.
