Booked at this hotel due to its proximity to Alexandria Old Town. We knew it was going to be hot and steamy in VA in June. So one of the reasons we booked this hotel was because they have a swimming pool. Unfortunately, the pool was out of service for the whole time we were there. We definitely could have used it on those 100 degree days. Also, the hotel advertised free parking on Hotels.com, but were told it was now $10/15 a night. False Advertising by Marriott

I was not able to check in so I didn’t stay at the property. The advertisement listed an indoor pool. That’s the reason I picked that location because of the indoor pool. The pool was closed indefinitely

The staff workers were friendly and the hotel was clean. We booked this hotel for the pool and hot tub for our kids. The hot tub was down the entire time and the pool was down for a couple of days. One elevator was not working.

First off on hotels.com it says parking was free. They tried to charge for parking before i mentioned that online it said it was free. They did honor the free parking then. Then no keys in the entire hotel worked. We had to have a worker let us into our room every time we left. They showed us a way we could keep our door open without it locking but I’m sorry I’m not going to do that. The tub in the room would not drain well and there was a ton of water over your ankles while showering. It’s not fun taking a shower like that. the pictures online look nice, but I would find another hotel to stay at as there are plenty in the area.

It wasn’t the best experience for one night, water wasn’t hot, either remote control didn’t work and was missing buttons the beds was absolutely uncomfortable back was hurting so bad. I wouldn’t stay here again. Also, there were NO TOWELS in the pool area and when ask for some the person at front desk was not very pleasant.

The pool and hot tub were not clean when we checked in and even filthier the next day. No towels were in the pool area either day as well. Two of our four guests awoke with insect bites on arms, legs, neck, face and head. Managment did nothing and claimed they never had problems with insect bites. The breakfast was good and the area was kept very clean.

This property was a nightmare and continues to be a nightmare as I have still not been refunded for the night we DID NOT STAY because the beds in the basement (yes the room was in a besement) were infested with BED BUGS!! Thankfully, I had not brought any personal affects into the room prior to discovering the bed bugs. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

I chose this hotel because our family had a pleasant stay in 2022. This visit was opposite. During check-in, the staff member on duty was unfriendly and paid more attention to her phone, giggling at whatever was on there. Next, our actual room had an unpleasant smell (cleaning supplies + cigarette smoke smell). Breakfast was decent and the staff member on duty during checkout was pleasant. We will not book this hotel again when returning to the area.

I stay here frequently and occasionally find the room smells of body odor, despite appearing clean. I will spray the room a/c filter with my cologne just to overcome the BO smell but that only lasts a day or so. Very strange, as I request sheets and bedding be changed and the odor lingers.

rooms on c level smell moldy and pool needs to be cleaned and its freezing. staff is excellent, i had to change rooms 3 times because 1. refrigerator not working and bugs inside 2. tv did not work 3. room smelled like mildew i will not go back to this location ever again. however the staff was very nice and helpful. it was not their fault.

I actually was pretty disappointed with this stay. I read great reviews so I expected better. The walls are very thin so I heard coughs, conversations, TVs, and everything going on in the hallway. The tub was very creaky and made noises the entire time as you moved around while taking a shower. The fridge stay on for 2 hours and goes off for 8 hours, so items aren’t as cold as you’d wish them to be. What was most disappointing was the suite I reserved was unavailable so I had to opt for just the double queens. This gave me less beds for my family and I. I would not recommend or stay at this hotel ever again.

The check in process was smooth and quick. Not too many hoops and not even a wait time. The front desk agent was very friendly and informative. We appreciated on site free parking. I was so grateful with how good this place smells. From the lobby to the room it was such a pleasant smell. Beds were comfortable, bathroom had an abundance of space and pleasant lighting. Loved the two TV’s for the room we were in it was a nice touch. The WIFI was a bit spotty which wasn’t so unsettling since we were only there for one night, but that’s something to keep in mind. Nice location. Plenty of spots to eat and Walmart as well as Target, right around the corner. The only thing that I disliked was the pool/hot tub. We went down and felt hey this would be a nice activity but chlorine content I believe, was so high it was burning our eyes to even be near it. Couldn’t sit in the area for more than 15 minutes before I was like I have to get out of here I feel like I’m in a gas chamber, it was awful. So everything was nice but I’d just say skip the pool/hot tub experience if you can.

Hotel is close to busy road which makes it difficult to sleep if your room is facing the road. The room was spacious but the suite should have a door or some type of divider to separate the multiple televisions.

This is a clean, modern hotel. Checking in and out via the app was a breeze. The bathroom was nice with great water pressure. The free breakfast was ok. The bed was very comfortable. However, the pillows would flatten once you lay your head on them. It was as though the pillows weren’t there. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

I got a room with a wall view, why? Because I was at Level C (basement level). There is no description when you book telling you this will be basement level and the view is a wall. It was like a grave. I'm not sure about the quality of air in that level because I got crazy allergic reaction of sneezing, running nose red eyes which is went away when I went to target (nearby) to get antihistamine meds.

When i arrived the room i reserved wasnt available fine i wss offered to other rooms but only needed one so i went with the single king amd pull out but i was also told at my checkin that my rate would be discounted to accomodate me since what i reserved i didn't get checked out on sunday the young lady wasnt nice at all had no clue and asking me who i spoke to as if she didnt know who relieved her on friday after her day shift so there was no communication and neither did i receive a discount for the inconvenience

I would definitely stay here again. The location and price was perfect. My only small issue I had was the housekeeping staff knocking on my door at 9 am asking if we were ready for check out (check-out is “before noon”). Didn’t appreciate being woken up and answering in my pajamas. But other than that, it was a great place to stay.

Had to pay $10 parking fee which was not mentioned in expedia.com but I can ignore that as there was sign board for parking fee at the reception. The main problem was that there was no blanket provided for sofa bed. I had to inform to front desk had to wait for 15 mins without blanket and then lady told me that someone will bring in my room. The person brought the blanket after 30 mins. It took 45 mins to get blanket at 11:30 PM in the night. Also, the sofa bed has very dirty mattress and the springs are like poking you in your whole body. I coudnt sleep at all.

Had a fantastic stay here. Upon an evening arrival- my room had been given to another guest (with my same name)! The clerk (who was new, but super sweet and helpful) was unable to fix the pricing in the system. She phoned the manager, who drove 30 mins out of her way and come back and fix the issue. I'll definitely stay here again! Shouts out to the desk clerk and manager (whose names I wish I would've taken down)!

We stayed two nights while visiting DC. Hotel was just a few minutes from the Huntington metro station that has ample, inexpensive parking. Easy to take the metro into the city for the day. Pool was very small and seemed overchlorinated (made our eyes burn). Breakfast was great the first morning. Second morning was busier and the attendant seemed to have difficulty keeping things stocked. Still a wide variety to pick from. Front desk staff pleasant and helpful. Easy to get food delivered.

Breakfast was good; however the layout of food items was confusing. Too many stops for simple stuff. Clean room. Staff that we saw was good. AC was fine but required some fiddling in the evening Thursday. It was blowing colder than it was set and when I turned it to a warmer temp it kept blowing cold. Turned it off for an hour or so then turned it on and it worked fine. Probable needs service.

The lobby area was clean and breakfast was decent. The breakfast consisted of eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, and oatmeal, fruit, bagels, and juice, water, and coffee. The beds were very uncomfortable. I thought we'd have a good refresh during our visit but that was not the case. I had to ask for toilet paper at front desk. It's a decent hotel for a day but not for several days.
