We stayed at BOMA for three nights following the Christmas holiday. It's a short walk from the train station, surrounded by shopping and dining options, and a 20 min. taxi ride to the airport. Our room was quiet and clean, though on the smaller side - not a lot of room for luggage but otherwise fine. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good water pressure. All the stafg we encountered were courteous and helpful. My only minor complaint is that the listing showed it had a mini fridge, but was actually a quite warm beverage fridge so we ended up having to throw out our yogurt and a few other snacks we'd bought. There is luggage storage in the basement with electronic locks, and a small gym I used one morning (very basic but better than nothing!). There is a grocery store across the plaza and down a little ways, and a laundromat less than 5 min. walk away. All told, this isn't a super fancy hotel but is a solid choice in a great location.

Tried to make sure by emailing hotel in advance to reserve parking they say they have available on site, but when we arrived we were given a map showing us where to go park car somewhere else. Can be very confusing since there are so many garages in same area.

Das Hotel liegt an sehr zentraler Lage und verfügt über schöne, zweckmässige Zimmer. Als Radfahrer haben wir die separate abschliessbare Fahrradgarage in der Tiefgarage sehr geschätzt. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig.

The BOMA Hotel is located in a great area, approximately a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral. The hotel is staff exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel has a very hip and modern feel to it and super clean. There is onsite parking available, but a reservation must be made ahead of time. If that doesn’t happen, the note has several ParkHaus options a short driving/walking distance with a reduced rate. This was our 3rd time to Strasbourg and the BOMA Hotel had been our favorite place we stayed, hands down. Would recommend it for all the above reasons.

Wonderful hotel. Very comfortable and clean. Nice amenities and quiet. Great location; close to main train station, a tram stop, and the walkable old city with plenty of food and drink. The hotel also has bar with a good selection and comfortable seating. Best were the luggage lockers available to guests!

Wir hatten vorab einen Parkplatz reserviert, was wunderbar geklappt hat. Die Tiefgarage ist unter dem Hotel. Sie ist jedoch sehr schmal, was man mit einem großen Auto unbedingt beachten sollte. Wir reisten mit einem kleinen Hund, der ebenso herzlich willkommen geheißen wurde wie wir. Im Zimmer war für ihn eine Ecke mit 2 Schüsseln vorbereitet und ein kleines Geschenk (Hundekeks) war auch dabei. Das Zimmer war sauber und groß, das Bett sehr bequem. Draussen gab es eine Gemeinschaftsterrasse. Einziger Punktabzug kommt von der „Klimaanlage“, die bei einer Einstellung auf eine kühle Temperatur (wir hatten 19 Grad eingestellt) das Zimmer in einem Backofen mit fast 30 Grad verwandelte. Als wir das reklamierten wurde uns gesagt, es wäre ja auch keine Klimaanlage…Haben wir nicht verstanden…die Anzeige des Bedienpanels zeigte 19*. Auch bei einer Einstellung auf 5* heizte die Klimaanlage weiter auf über 20 Grad. Durch die zentrale Lage war es in der Nacht von draußen sehr sehr laut. Leute brüllten rum und irgendwas war in den Zimmern über uns los, es knallte und rumpelte bis in die frühen Morgenstunden, so dass wir Schwierigkeiten hatten zu schlafen.

The parking situation was a bit of a pain but I knew in advance it might be. What would have made the stay perfect was a dedicated load/unload area so you don’t have to drag your luggage across town from the parking garage.

Hotel in very central position and is clean and brightly decorated. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English. My room was a good size and the free water and soft drinks in the minibar is a nice touch.

Stayed at this hotel for a few days and loved it. Rooms are stylish, spacious (for Europe), comfortable, and clean. Easy walking distance to train station and many of the city center attractions. Highly recommend. Will definitely stay here again on future visits.

The hotel is very clean and newly as well. Is in a very central location. You can walk everywhere. We stayed here for 3 nights, and it was always very quite at night time. The bed was very comfy and the room was very very clean with all the essentials, water and soap as well as blackout curtains. The only reason why I'm giving a 4 ⭐ Review is because of the very strong sewer smell in the reception area, and I do understand is an old city and it didn't bother me but it is worth mentioning. The room didn't have a bad smell at all and got clean everyday. Service was awesome.

Very Clean room and bathroom! Comfortable beds. Great air conditioner and water pressure. Noise level was moderate at night since our room faced the restaurants but it quieted down after midnight. Staff are kind. There is a complimentary luggage storage even after check out. Only suggestion is an extra lamp in the corner as it was a bit dark with all the lights on.

Very nice stay. Property was well located, modern and in the city centre. Staff were friendly. It was very warm in the rooms though, and we were unable to cool the rooms due to the air conditioning not being allowed in the winter, making it slightly uncomfortable to sleep in.

Das Zimmer und Hotel waren schön und perfekt in der Altstadt gelegen. Petit France und die Kathedrale waren in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Geparkt haben wir in einem öffentlichen Parkhaus am Rand der Altstadt (10 Minuten zu Fuß) für 15 Euro/24 Std. Was uns nicht gefallen hat: wir hatten ein Deluxe Double zur Straße hin, wo wir jeden Morgen von der Müllabfuhr und Lieferverkehr geweckt wurden. Am Wochenende war es aber ruhiger.

Great location - 10 min walk to main train station and 7 min walk to metro station; 5 mins to Le Petit France; and situated on a street with many cafes, shops, restaurants. Room are very comfortable - beds nice and firm; quality memory foam pillows; and excellent bed duvets that are warm but breathe. Great curtains - we were situated next to bright lights illuminating name of hotel and aside from some slight leakage of light at the top - it kept the room dark. The AC worked well for France - if it could be dialed down another 2 degrees it would be better (at least for Americans who are used to colder rooms). Bathrooms are good with quality showers. Based on our experience, pass on the optional (extra fee) hotel breakfast and check out the shops/cafes in the near vicinity - better value for the money and better quality food.

When I asked the hotel about parking I was told they didn't offer parking so we had to park about a half mile away and haul in our oversized luggage. Then upon checkout I heard the staff asking customer if their stay included parking fees, that was abit infuriating since I had booked our stay over 6 months out! Location was good, room was tiny!!

My room is big, clean and cozy. Walking distance to central train station. Many options for dining. Near by a couple department stores for shopping. Staffs are friendly. Breakfast buffet gave me good idea what to buy for souvenirs. Acess to 2 big elevators . I really enjoyed my stay. Thank you

La location avait un probleme “chronique” avec la salle d’eau, après chaque douche l’eau debordait dans la chambre. D’ailleurs à un regard attentif on remarque un discret denivelement du sol, des traces d’autres innondations. Je suis restée 4 nuits, la reception aurait pu me proposer un autre chambre et garder celle ci pour des personnes qui restent une nuit. La vue sur une courte interieure,beton et petits batiments n’est pas plus rejouissante… Accueil froid, limite condescendent remarqué chez plusieurs personnes de la reception. Le petit déjeuner: pas envie de le prendre ici, donc je ne sais pas. Le dinner: mais quelle pauvreté de menu…mais personnel sympa.. J’ai été logée dans cet hotel à plusieurs reprises; d’ un voyage à l’autre la qualité de services s’ appauvrit, l’accueil n’en est plus un…

Nuestra estancia en BOMA fue muy placentera y sus instalaciones nos hicieron sentir cómodos, descansados y seguros. La atención del personal fue un poco incómoda al inicio; ya que, un personal masculino de facciones de tez clara, barba y lentes fue muy serio con nosotros, incluso ni saludaba. Pero la atención del personal al final de nuestra estancia, fue por David, él nos ayudó y fue super amable, por él nuestra opinión cambió a positivo. Como recomendación al hotel, sería tomar en consideración la atención que tienen en recepción, ya que es la cara que dan por parte del hotel. Gracias

Loved this hotel! The bedding quality and those pillows… heavenly. I’ve never slept on a better set of pillows in a hotel before - and I’ve been to a Ritz-Carlton. Many thanks to Morgane for the restaurant recommendation, Aida was beyond delicious and really made for a special evening in Strasbourg. The breakfast is top-notch, amazing variety of food and delicious coffee.

Comfortable, great bathtub, fabulous location! We didn’t get the chance to use the gym. Easy access between public transport and Christmas markets, we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Boma! Staff were kind enough to give us early check in. Staff were friendly.

Sehr zentral, aber trotzdem ruhig in einer Fußgängerzone gelegenes Hotel. Sehr sauber! Unser Zimmer war zum Innenhof gerichtet, so dass wir sogar mit geöffnetem Fenster ruhig schlafen konnten. Betten und Bad waren neu und in einem sehr guten Zustand. In der Umgebung konnte man alles zu Fuß erreichen: Supermarkt, Cafés, Bäcker, Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Personal war auch freundlich, zurückhaltend.

Das Zimmer und Hotel waren schön und perfekt in der Altstadt gelegen. Petit France und die Kathedrale waren in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Geparkt haben wir in einem öffentlichen Parkhaus am Rand der Altstadt (10 Minuten zu Fuß) für 15 Euro/24 Std. Was uns nicht gefallen hat: wir hatten ein Deluxe Double zur Straße hin, wo wir jeden Morgen von der Müllabfuhr und Lieferverkehr geweckt wurden. Am Wochenende war es aber ruhiger.

Hotellet hadde perfekt beliggenhet. Personalet var meget hyggelig og serviceinnstilte. Rommene var rene og pene og frokosten var god. Det var en del bråk i gata utenfor på natten, så vil du sove godt bør du be om et rom mot bakgården.

We were there to enjoy Strasbourg‘s city center decorations, and Christmas markets, and the hotel was perfectly located for that. We were within easy, walking distance of all the sites. The room was very comfortable, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Dining was limited in the hotel itself, but you’re right near everything, so there are plenty of cafes restaurants nearby. Highly recommended for viewing the most beautiful parts of Strasbourg.

Easy and short walk to hotel from the train station. Excellent location to Petit France with all the shopping, historical sites and restaurants. Great service and can lock up luggage if early or leaving late. Nicely decorated, clean and upgraded bathroom/shower and very comfortable bed.

O hotel Boma é ótimo. Excelente localização, perto do centro histórico e a curta distância da estação de trem, próximos aos meios de transporte locais, ótimos restaurantes e comércio variado. Excelente atendimento pela equipe da recepção, sempre pronta para ajudar. Quarto espaçoso, limpo, mobília moderna, banheiro de ótimo tamanho, cômodo e funcional. Não há barulho, cama confortável e ar condicionado funcionando plenamente, frigo bar ok. O elevador é grande e o local para guardar malas é excelente também. Os aspectos que poderiam ser melhores são: o café da manhã, pois tem pouca variedade e algumas coisas não são bem preparados como ovos mexidos e mesmo o café de máquina não é saboroso, nem as frutas, porém o espaço do salão do café/ bar é amplo e muito confortável. Em relação à decoração, para as pessoas mais velhas, idosas e com muita bagagens, seria melhor se houvessem mesinhas de cabeceira tradicionais e os cubos que são utilizados para guardar roupa também não atendem, poderiam ser substituídos por armários com gavetas ou prateleiras. Mesmo com esses aspectos a melhorar, eu voltaria a ficar nesse hotel BOMA e acho que tem um ótimo custo benefício. Eu o recomendo sem receio.

Boma is a very charming hotel, and the staff is outstanding! Everyone we encountered was very helpful and friendly, which really makes a difference. The room was spotless and very cute, and the hotel has an excellent location (halfway between the train station and the christmas markets). Everything is easy walking distance, and they have lockers to store your luggage if needed (after checkout, etc.). The breakfast is excellent too - as of now, it's 19 euros for the full breakfast buffet, which we highly recommend (9 euros for continental). We would definitely stay here again!!!

Unser Premium-Zimmer war toll und da zum Innenhof gelegen auch schön ruhig. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut mit großer Auswahl. Wer frisch gepressten O-Saft möchte kann diesen zusätzlich bestellen. Es gibt auch dunkles Brot. Der Service ist sehr hilfsbereit, kompetent und mehrsprachig. Wir waren mit dem Auto da und die Garage ist gut und sicher. Straßburg ist vom Hotel aus perfekt zu besichtigen. Wir empfehlen das erst im September neu eröffnete CRÊP‘ESS. Die Crêpes sind unschlagbar in süß oder herzhaft. Wir kommen wieder.
