Staff and rooms all good, taxi ride to the main square, can walk but wouldn’t like too later on in evening. Taxi not expensive. The airport shuttle is ONLY pick up and not drop off. Staff made breakfast bags for us as we missed official breakfast time both days we were there. Loads of food and water. Really friendly staff.

The hotel sent someone to pick us up from the airport even though our flight was an hour and 15 minutes late and they let us check in early. It is these details that make this a great choice for hotel when staying in Cusco. It is also only a 10-15 minute walk to the Plaza de Armas.

Great, clean, amazing little hotel. The airport pick-up service, hot showers, and friendly helpful management were highlights.

Property was clean. You get what you pay for. Not very close to anything. Free Airport shuttle is only when coming to the hotel not leaving.

We had a nice stay at the Ureta Hotel. Our group stayed for two nights before leaving on a hiking trip and then returned for one night when we got back to Cusco. They held our luggage for us while we were gone and had it in our rooms waiting for us when we returned. Breakfast was delicious and served fresh each morning. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the main square. We were able to utilize the airport shuttle upon arrival, but did not realize the shuttle does not take guests from the hotel back to the airport. The hotel helped us arrange a taxi for an early morning flight. All staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay again!

This would be a deal at twice the price. The rooms are clean, the mattresses are firm, the pillows and blankets are non-allergenic. The location is about 10 minutes away from Centro, and it is easy to get a cab for 7 soles (2 bucks US). The owner, Victor, is so kind and friendly, he brings the best kind of experience to a bed and breakfast. Breakfast is amazing and they are happy to customize to needs and preferences. Victor and the team are kind and helpful and make it feel like you are staying at the inn of an uncle or cousin. Victor has connections for all tour packages, and they will come to the hotel and can help you get your Machu Pichu ticket even if you did not make a reservation like me. The hotel provides shuttle service to and from the airport in a clean new van. They make you feel like a high priority guest even though all us are here to do the same adventure tours. The neighborhood is pretty normal and has a laundry, restaurants, and therapeutic massage nearby. Highly recommended.

It was a very nice hotel, clean quiet but it was a bit misleading. This place advertises “airport transfer” which they do not have. Our prerequisite to book our hotel in Cusco was includes breakfast and transfer to airport. It was a very nice stay, breakfast was great but please note No Airport transfer - if that’s what you need

The Ureta Hotel experience offered a quaint “ Bed and Breakfast” appeal. The staff and owner were intricately involved in the guests’ day-to-day starting with providing daily breakfast and room cleaning. Most importantly, due to our excursions usually commencing at 3:00 AM, there was always a staff member there with a snack bag containing fruits, water, and local treats. Very hospitable! They ensured a ride from the airport to hotel and in reverse. Family friendly. It’s very cold… they offer heating services with a charge. Hair blow dryer and iron amenities per request. I think we were near a sewer, so sometimes a mild stench would linger, but I stress that the property is well-maintained! I loved it there and would recommend to anyone.

El desayuno era deficiente y poco pues ni carta te daban para ver lo que habia, el mesero venia con las cosas que habian y punto. El bano de la habitacion olia muy mal todo el tiempo pues expedia olor a fosa del tragante del lavamanos y de la ducha, yo lo reporte al segundo dia y me dijeron que verian eso pero la verdad nunca lo vieron pues el mal olor nunca desaparecio. El colmo fue que el dia de irme le pedia a la senora jefa que me diera una botella de agua para tomar una medicina y me dijo que si pero que eran 2 Soles, eso me dio mucha rabia porque mucha proipina que yo les deje todos los dias para que ella me quisiera cobrar una botellita de agua, le dije que no que yo no se la pagaba entonces me dijo que me la regalaba y yo volvi a decirle que no que yo ya no la queria y me tome mi pastilla con saliba.

The hotel is excellent, the facilities are very clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff and very good service. We were very happy and grateful to everyone who works at the hotel and especially to the owners. Thank you Hotel Ureta

Ureta Hotel was about a 30 minute walk away from the main square in Cusco and we felt very safe walking it each evening! The owners were so friendly- we don't speak Spanish well and they don't speak English well so Google Translate worked great for us! We had tours leaving early in the morning so we only had 1 breakfast there but there was so much delicious food that they kept coming out with! On the days we left early they had a to-go bag packed with cookies, crackers, fruit and water to bring with us on our tour which was really nice. The only reason I didn't give this hotel 5 stars is because the room my husband and I stayed in had a very strong musty odour smell coming from it and the stand up shower door didn't seal properly leaving water on the floor after showering. My parents stayed in a different room on the same floor as us and didn't have those issues so maybe we were in a room that was less updated. Overall I would stay in this hotel again and would recommend it to others!

Go out the hotel and turn right up some steps and then turn left. 15 mins along that road and your in the centre. £1.50 for a cab home after having had a lovely meal in Cusco. Owner is a great guy. This little B&B gem was a one of a kind. All of the staff was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and professional. The hotel was spotless and breakfast was amazing. The water pressure in the shower was a HUGE plus. One of the staff ordered pizza and chicken for us from a third party. They delivered it and it was absolutely amazing. I can’t recommend this homey hotel enough!

Great hotel with even better staff. The hotel owner made my stay perfect. When you arrive the give you hot coca te to make sure you don’t get sick from the altitute. The hotel is in quiet area with local restaurant and supermarket only few minutes away. 10-15 min walk to the central or 7 solis for uber. Fast internet and plenty of hot water in the shower. Can get little cold in this town at night but beautiful town. Cusco is much cheaper then Lima. I would stay again at this hotel. Cusco is great olace to try Alpaca and Cuy and it has lot of cheap restaurant. For shopping local alpacha stuff I recomend San Pedro market. The market is also great to try out local food.

Economical, great service and good rooms. Getting hot water in showers and vanity was sometimes a challenge.

The hotel is run by the owners and, they are very attentive to help all the guests. As a solo traveler that made me feel safe and comfortable. The only bad thing was that I got a room facing the big avenue and the noise was loud during the night. Other than that, I would recommend this place for a short stay and a medium-low budget (in comparison to the top hotel costs).

This is the perfect hotel. Clean and Comfortable. Very welcoming staff. Serve te or coffee upon arrival. Always available and very helpful and friendly. Rooms are very nice. Beds and bedding is first class. Great bathroom and shower!!! Definatly stay here again. Roger

The owner and his family are excellent hosts. They are very friendly and welcoming. The location is a bit far from Cusco main square - about 20 mins walk and at a place not considered as a primą location. The internet is spotty and slow. The breakfast time needs to be confirmed each night for next morning and the food is prepared for you - not buffet like big hotels. The food is very similar each morning with little variety.

This is a relatively modern hotel. Our room (for a family of four) was clean and the staff were friendly. We arrived late at night after a visit to Machu Picchu, and had to leave very early in the morning for a flight. The staff were accommodating and even packed some food for us in the morning. The hotel is about 30 min walk from Plaza Mayor de Cusco. That was a non issue for us as we needed a place for a short, one night stop over.

We liked the comfort of the bed, and the excellent shower pressure. The staff was very polite and attentive.

Everything was very nice and clean. Staff was very nice and Paul is a great talker. He gets acquainted with you very fast and entertains you with his life story. The only thing is that when you are showering the hot water goes on and off but other than that the hotel is very nice and very well located You can walk to the plaza De Armas and closer to Borreguito Street

Amazing experience at Ureta Hotel! When we decided to take a trip to South America, choosing the right hotel took a lot of our time. Thankfully, we made a great choice by picking Ureta Hotel for our stay in Cusco. The location is excellent—just a 15-20 minute walk to the historic downtown area. The hotel is incredibly clean, comfortable, and staffed by friendly people. Special thanks to Victor and his wife, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable stay. Not only did they provide exceptional service, but they also made fantastic recommendations. The breakfast was outstanding; we’ve never felt so spoiled with delicious omelettes, fresh bread, and amazing fresh fruit. I would definitely stay at this hotel again when I return to Cusco, Peru.

This was my first time in peru and also my first time leaving a review on Expedia. Before arrival, upon arrival ,and after messaging the Hotel, we were not picked up from the airport despite it being an amenity offered by the hotel. The issues did not stop there. The hotel also describes that both English and Spanish would be spoken, but our whole experience was dictated by the use of google translate as no staff could understand or speak English. It should also be noted that the room did not have air conditioning or heat and the only means of warmth was provided via blankets. Lastly, upon checkout, we were charged additionally for using a hand towel to clean our garments despite us cleaning it and it possessed minimal staining which could have been removed from proper washing (I would expect the hotel to expect this as Peru is known for its treacherous landscape and various hiking excursions which can lead to dirty clothing requiring cleaning). Overall, this should be a last choice for your stay in Cusco if you are looking for a relaxing time after experiencing one of the seven wonders of the world. It should also be mentioned that no offer was extended to us for a return shuttle back to the airport and we had to buy another Uber. I’m not one to bash or want to cause issues, but this was very disappointing considering seeing high ratings for this place. The staff did try to be polite, but there was more inconveniences that outweighed polite staff.

Fue el hotel donde más tiempo pasamos y el que mejor nos atendió. Llegamos muy temprano desde Lima y, aunque aún no era hora de check-in, el equipo fue muy amable y nos ayudó a ingresar antes para descansar. Nos recibieron con un mate de coca para el mal de altura y nos dieron muy buenas recomendaciones. Nos sentimos muy bien cuidados. Sin duda volveríamos.

Great spot. Late arrival in Cusco and had impeccable service, from airport pick up to hotel Checkin and special hot tea to calm the acclimation. Modern facility with clean and quality bedding & towels. The staff are fantastic. Definitely a YES

Kindest staff ever!

A very warm welcome, excellent Customer Service, shown to my room, spacious, clean and well presented. Great supply of hot water, toiletries typical Peruvian with bar of soap and v. small shampoo conditioner. Clean towels every day. Great breakfast. And great Customer Service on leaving with the Manager insisting on carrying my bags out to the taxi. Wouldn’t hesitate on recommending?

The hotel staff was very attentive and friendly, we had a couple of planned excursions where we left at 4am in the morning and they made sure to wake up and give us some bags with snacks and water for our events.

The hotel came highly recommended, we had booked for 2 night but ended up staying only 1 night due to the location and proximity from Centro Historico, which was a 25-30 minute walk away. The breakfast was nice and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a quiet residential neighboorhood, looked a bit to quiet to be walking about late night. I wish the hotel had been closer to the Plaza de Armas, we would have felt better about staying there.

We had an enjoyable stay. The people at the front desk were very helpful and obliging. The hotel is not in the middle of the city but is within walking distance to most places.

Room and staff very good. The location was misleading, is more than 30'walk to the center and the area was a "little" bit sketchy to walk around, u will need taxi all the time.

It was a great hotel, except that they don't offer food after breakfast, but it is fine.

The staff were the friendliest we experienced in our two week trip to Peru. The free breakfast was also the best out of the five hotels we stayed in during our trip.

Great place to stay during your vacations at Cusco! Quiet and clean. All good places are walkable from this hotel. The best part is the breakfast!

Clean hotel with nice rooms and excellent service. Very good breakfast. It was convenient that for all my tours they picked me up at the hotel (drop-off is generally in the Plaza de Armas area, about a 20-minute walk).

The room was rather big. Comfortable beds. Quiet area. Staff was friendly, but almost no one spoke English. There is a big iron bars-door to open every time you leave or come. If you order breakfast box, don't think you will get anything to eat. Only crackers and a fruit. Also breakfast was not good. Juice was not fresh. You could only eat one toast per person.

Great hotel if you're traveling on a budget. Meet all our needs for our night in Cusco. Very hospitable owner. Delicious breakfast that was made to order at the time guests request the night before.
