Already recommended this beautiful place to a few friends, the only thing that I could possibly fault is lack of nighttime atmosphere being so remote from como but we accepted that after a lovely dip in the hot tub looking over the lake

The host and staff are all very helpful and hospitable, especially with their shuttle car service, considering the property sits along a private and extremely narrow windy road that goes up the mountainside, which is inaccessible by bus or private taxi beyond a certain point.

Very well organized but also quirky and authentic hillside Italian experience with view of Lake Como. The host was amazing and extremely hospitable. There was free parking with shuttle service by the host, wonderful breakfast was included, and the hot tub and rooms had incredible views!

Such a lovely place! I would love to give 6 stars for each category. Sophia and Giulia were soooo welcoming and friendly and made this stay really special. Thank you so much! Food was great, we did not expect this big variety. Breakfast with lake-view was simply stunning. The terrace, the whirlpool - well where to stop....? We can recommend this place and we will definitely come back.

The house is a throw back into another error but the setting is absolutely stunning with views north across Lake Como bookended by lush, green steep mountains. You need to be met by the homeowner Gianluca in the small town of Molina and he picks you up in a small fiat. You leave your car there and he comes to collect you and your luggage. The reason is simply, once you set off up the hill, as the car barely fits between the ancient homes on either side of the cobbled stone narrow street. Don’t worry as you won’t be isolated during your stay (you can if you choose) as he will shuttle you back to your car. From within hours of your check-in Gianluca will WhatsApp you all the arrive details to include map directions to the dinner, breakfast and drinks menu. He and his staff, including Stella on breakfasts are extremely attentive. If you want medicinal quiet, it’s doesn’t get any better than Essentia!!

The guesthouse was exceptional, with rustic architecture. It is located in a village literally in the middle of nowhere. Lake como is everywhere you look, as it is located up in the hill. The room was spacious, well decorated and silent, the personnel was also helpful and kind. The only thing that visitors have to know, is that the guest house does not provide a parking space. You have to park your car in a public parking on the nearest village and then you have to use the shuttle service of the guest house as this is the only way to go up the hill.

Hotellet har en beliggenhed med den mest fantastiske udsigt og en hyggelig lyd af æsler med klokker der går rundt i skovområdet. Værten var super hjælpsom, omsorgsfuld og charmerende. Shuttle servicen var en unik og spændende oplevelse. Gennem de smalleste gader og og op ad stejle bakker, i en Fiat Panda som lige akurat kunne stå distancen, meget sjovt. Så ankommer du til dit dejlige værelse og har en udsigt ud af vinduerne, der er næsten surrealistisk, så smuk. Værten forberedte dejlig morgenmad, lige som du ønsker. Varme anbefalinger til Essentia Guest House.

Schon bei der Ankunft hat uns der *wundervolle Ausblick* auf die umliegende Landschaft den Atem geraubt. Die ruhige Lage abseits der Touristenmassen macht diesen Ort zu einem echten *"Secret Escape"*, den man fast nicht teilen möchte, weil er so besonders ist. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die *außerordentliche Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit* des gesamten Teams, das mit viel Hingabe und Gastfreundschaft dafür sorgt, dass man sich sofort willkommen und umsorgt fühlt. Fragen werden mit einem Lächeln beantwortet, Wünsche erfüllt, bevor man sie äußert – *Hilfsbereitschaft auf höchstem Niveau*! It would be much better to have the facts about the property upfront: - it is not reachable by own vehicle (which you have to leave in the village below) as these are restricted roads, - the "shuttle" is a tiny Fiat Panda (so if you're travelling as a group, that is several trips), - the units are close together and the owner warned us to be quiet as other guests were already sleeping (given how sound carried we felt we couldn't even watch TV at normal volumes - a basic ask; hanging a heavy curtain over the doorway would absorb more of the sound); - not even instant coffee in the room. Btw, the suite layout is such that the bathroom is after the bedroom, awkward for groups that are not very close/families. Overall, we felt fooled by the high star rating and overexaggerated description of facilities (i.e., the patio pic included in the room-specific section is a common area) - we would not have chosen this place if we had the true facts, especially because the labourious arrival process is just not worth it for one night. To add insult to injury, the owner was also rather unpleasant. The view is spectacular and facilities are new and clean.

The Hosts, Gianluca and Ash were so nice and made us feel like Home The Room we stayed was so clean and with a beautiful view of Lake Como, we were so happy with the whole experience and we would definitely stay again at Essentia. 5 Stars and forgot to mention the dinner they cook was amazing, we loved it.

The hotel has many qualities… it's family-friendly and quiet, and under other circumstances I could have given it a 10/10 review, but in my personal case, it's not suitable for people with disabilities. Gianluca and Sofía provided us with exceptional customer service. Parking is NOT at the hotel; you arrive at a designated parking lot and they pick you up. That's where the adventure begins. The streets are extremely narrow, where most cars can't fit. It's a very old place, but everything is updated: rooms, bathrooms, restaurant—it's top-notch.

Our stay was wonderful. The host was great with communication throughout our time there. They shuttled us from the parking lot to the house, since the roads were far too narrow and steep for us to maneuver ourselves. The room was clean and cozy, and the view from the property was 10/10. The staff service was better than we could ask for. Breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone looking!

Magnifique vue plongeante sur le lac de Côme. Des hôtes fort sympathiques. Accueil chaleureux. Au niveau confort, il manquait pour nous la climatisation, et les lits étaient peu confortables et inclinés dans le mauvais sens. Les petits déjeuner manquaient d’originalité et pas exceptionnel.

Amazing view the owner Gianluca was a great host. The room is very spacious and excellent breakfast in the morning. He gave us a ride to the nearest bus station and picked us up. Slightly away from the main attractions however we did all of that during the day and relaxed in the evening

The Hosts, Gianluca and Ash were so nice and made us feel like Home The Room we stayed was so clean and with a beautiful view of Lake Como, we were so happy with the whole experience and we would definitely stay again at Essentia. 5 Stars and forgot to mention the dinner they cook was amazing, we loved it.

Very well organized but also quirky and authentic hillside Italian experience with view of Lake Como. The host was amazing and extremely hospitable. There was free parking with shuttle service by the host, wonderful breakfast was included, and the hot tub and rooms had incredible views!

The guesthouse was exceptional, with rustic architecture. It is located in a village literally in the middle of nowhere. Lake como is everywhere you look, as it is located up in the hill. The room was spacious, well decorated and silent, the personnel was also helpful and kind. The only thing that visitors have to know, is that the guest house does not provide a parking space. You have to park your car in a public parking on the nearest village and then you have to use the shuttle service of the guest house as this is the only way to go up the hill.

Our stay was wonderful. The host was great with communication throughout our time there. They shuttled us from the parking lot to the house, since the roads were far too narrow and steep for us to maneuver ourselves. The room was clean and cozy, and the view from the property was 10/10. The staff service was better than we could ask for. Breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this place to anyone looking!

Amazing view the owner Gianluca was a great host. The room is very spacious and excellent breakfast in the morning. He gave us a ride to the nearest bus station and picked us up. Slightly away from the main attractions however we did all of that during the day and relaxed in the evening

It would be much better to have the facts about the property upfront: - it is not reachable by own vehicle (which you have to leave in the village below) as these are restricted roads, - the "shuttle" is a tiny Fiat Panda (so if you're travelling as a group, that is several trips), - the units are close together and the owner warned us to be quiet as other guests were already sleeping (given how sound carried we felt we couldn't even watch TV at normal volumes - a basic ask; hanging a heavy curtain over the doorway would absorb more of the sound); - not even instant coffee in the room. Btw, the suite layout is such that the bathroom is after the bedroom, awkward for groups that are not very close/families. The hotel has many qualities… it's family-friendly and quiet, and under other circumstances I could have given it a 10/10 review, but in my personal case, it's not suitable for people with disabilities. Gianluca and Sofía provided us with exceptional customer service. Parking is NOT at the hotel; you arrive at a designated parking lot and they pick you up. That's where the adventure begins. The streets are extremely narrow, where most cars can't fit. It's a very old place, but everything is updated: rooms, bathrooms, restaurant—it's top-notch.

The host went above and beyond helpful. Our flight was delayed, our Uber cancelled twice, we ended up getting there 3 hours after last check in, but Gianluca & Matteo were there for us and saved the day by getting us safely to the guest house. A fantastic breakfast with spectacular views, I would recommend this place to anyone.

The house is a throw back into another error but the setting is absolutely stunning with views north across Lake Como bookended by lush, green steep mountains. You need to be met by the homeowner Gianluca in the small town of Molina and he picks you up in a small fiat. You leave your car there and he comes to collect you and your luggage. The reason is simply, once you set off up the hill, as the car barely fits between the ancient homes on either side of the cobbled stone narrow street. Don’t worry as you won’t be isolated during your stay (you can if you choose) as he will shuttle you back to your car. From within hours of your check-in Gianluca will WhatsApp you all the arrive details to include map directions to the dinner, breakfast and drinks menu. He and his staff, including Stella on breakfasts are extremely attentive. If you want medicinal quiet, it’s doesn’t get any better than Essentia!!

It's a hike. So, if you can't go up stairs this is not the property for you. The host was doing his best. Gracious man, he transported us to the Guest House from the 'parking area', he showed us or room, he made our drinks and served us dinner. The place is not 'walkable' and there is no where else to go but to just stay and enjoy what you see.

Such a lovely place! I would love to give 6 stars for each category. Sophia and Giulia were soooo welcoming and friendly and made this stay really special. Thank you so much! Food was great, we did not expect this big variety. Breakfast with lake-view was simply stunning. The terrace, the whirlpool - well where to stop....? We can recommend this place and we will definitely come back.
