You get what you pay for. Be prepared for a £5 parking charge if you have not booked direct. In need of refurbishment but beds were comfortable and quiet bearing in mind the proximity of the motorway. Definitely only a one night stay type of place and cheap

On arrival I was told there was a £5 parking fee to be paid, attached is a screenshot from hotels.com website clearly stating free self parking. I was informed free parking is not offered to Expedia bookings and had to pay this fee if I wanted to stay the night. Please be aware that there can be incorrect information regarding extra fees on the hotels.com website.

I’ve thought it was good enough for a quick stay and is really reasonably priced and fine ! No frills, we noticed security walking round the car park late at night which we were very impressed with, and secure! The only problem is once you pull on the services it needs to be signed posted better!

The room and facilities where quiet good however the carpet was stained badly and the room smelt of cigarettes, comfortable bed and was a quiet restfull night, had a shock in the morning when checking out. Was told i should have paid a carpark charge which when i checked in i asked if there was a charge and was told no just register my registration plate , which i did. Told i could possibly have £100 fine , the new receptionist said she would try to override this , however i might still get a fine and if so to contact them directly and they will stop it.. so unexpected grief, wont be staying here again. The hotel is located in fleet southbound services and when your travelling northbound is a 5 mile diversion to get to it and 5 miles to get back to original point.

Had family room couple of mattresses on a funny little base on floor both reasonably uncomfortable, main bed too close to wall kept kicking it . Had to ask for more towels 2 bath towels and 1 hand towel between 3. Bathroom could do with a good bleaching mouldy sealant and tiles main bedroom had cobwebs and a spider. Hot too no fan.

Property was dirty and had a dead cockroach in corner of room. Carpets uncleaned and dusty. Staff on the first night we're unhelpful although on the second night the staff were good and wanted to help. The facilities are very basic and are heavily used. Unfortunately i wont be reterning.

Rooms were very dirty, no towels or soaps in the room. Toilet paper and roll left behind the bathroom door. Room was very uncomfortable to sleep in. Beds were haphazardly made and the mattresses were very heavy stained. Gentleman at the front counter was not very helpful when asking for towels or soap. Overall I would not stay here ever again, It was the worst place I have ever stayed at. not being able to book Days Inn other then on-line is just horrible. They should be able to help book rooms as you are travelling across the country.....

Dirty and disgusting hotel. Corridor carpets were filthy, was hoping the room would be better, it wasn't. Carpet was covered in stains and looked like it hadn't even been hoovered. Blood stains on sheets and mattress. Pull out bed had a stained a mattress protector and looked very uncomfortable. Holes in bathroom door. Mould around the shower, dust and hairs in the bathroom, ominous stains on the bathroom door. Expected basic but not this level of uncleanliness. Staff were friendly.

Filthy room, especially the carpets. Had to pay £5 to park. Miserable and unhelpful reception staff on arrival. Mattress on the floor for 8 year old. Bathroom door didn't close. Car alarm going off outside the room for a large part of the night. Rats running around outside the hotel in the morning. Will not be returning!

I messaged the hotel twice with a request but did not receive a response, however my request was met on arrival. I cannot see the point of a messaging facility if the recipient doesn't bother to respond. I discovered on entering my room that there wasn't a drinking glass provided which I required. The receptionist tried very hard to resolve the situation even directing me to the "breakfast facility" (which turned out to be a fast food bar during the day!), but to no avail. This basic oversight combined with a "well worn" interior leads me to an average rating only. The room was spacious, quiet and quite clean apart from the carpet in places. The shower was good. For a no frills short stay its good value for the money.

Abysmal attitude by first member of reception staff I saw. Backchat given by him. Stained bed sheet. Lack of staff meant most days, clean towels were not provided. I was going to reception to get them myself. One time the bins were not emptied. Told to put them outside bedroom door. Internet not very reliable.

Check in and staff - top notch not a single issue. Friendly and helpful. The room . . . The carpet was stained, dirty and a total mess! Would have looked better is they bleached it. Family room and the 2 small beds were only just 1 up from a mattress on the floor and poor quality mattress at that. We turned up with low expectations (turned up 11pm to leave 8am) and this managed to be lower than that.

When we arrived, there was no room available. We had all the emails, texts, to confirm our booking, but the receptionist couldn’t find it on her computer. So we ended up having to pay extra for another room and then get onto Expedia to refund us the payment. Total mismanagement

What free breakfast sign in hotel said £9.99 clean room cleaners are so polite now lets talk about the staff expect one young who was very polite and helpfull the rest of the staff rude lack of training if there ever is a realnfire in that place good luck they have no clue 6am wake up call due to fire alarm and just excuses from the staff that didnt even no how to turn it off and didnt even investigate the issue

Check in was awful. Obi was rude, unhelpful and tried to charge my friend twice for the same room. The room had been prepaid but Obi insisted it hadn't been! When the computer confirmed prepayment, there was no apology. It was an unpleasant experience. Check out was lovely. Kate was friendly, helpful and greeted us with a smile. The shower needs a refresh and bathroom plug didn't work. Corner of bathroom floor needs a good clean. Bed OK.

Rooms ok but not very clean. Mould, damp, dirty carpets, and beds not great. Breakfast is a voucher for 'The Good Breakfast' at the services over the road which we had to ask for and should have been guven to us when we checked in and had to fight to get them with the guy and the desk who said we didnt have breakfast as we didnt pay for it and it came under 'Amenities' which i had to explain to him meant we purchased it, then only gave us 2 instead of 4 vouchers so missed out on 2 breakfasts we paid for. Rooms not great, carpets dirty, mould and damp, not ventilation. Wouldnt go back. Would rather spend £30 more for a premier inn

Basic, but value for money. Comfy beds. Just be aware (nothing to do with hotel really) that if you arrive after 10 and expect to eat or drink in the services you will be out if luck. The franchises close at 10.

Hotel is great value for money! Staff in the hotel are always willing to help! Cleanliness was okay, a few missed hairs in the bath. Breakfast was nice but the breakfast staff were very unhelpful and did not want to accommodate with dietary requirements.

Excellent price Good Stopover on route takes dogs with plenty of walking areas free parking free wi-fi 100 yards to Fast food shops to tie you over.Reception has selection of sweets drinks if needed

Very spacious clean room with great shower. Despite being at a Motorway services the room was surprisingly quiet. Good eating options including a Pizza Express restaurant in addition to the usual fast food outlets. Friendly and welcoming staff. The have swapped the bedside sockets for usb only, which whilst is a step forward over some, it would still be great to keep one of them as a three pin socket.
