I reserved this hotel because of this nice foto of the swimmingpool and a nice big balcony. BUT the swimmingpool area was closed even though 23 degrees and sunshine. I asked when the swimmingpool area would open- that was not decided. And I got a small balcony where I could look down on the big balcony I thought I had reserved. Here I had to sit and enjoy the sun on two chairs. So I did not get what I had ordered. The rest was fine. Nice room, very nice receptionist.

Das Hotel ist wirklich toll. Wir haben ein Zimmer-Upgrade erhalten und somit ein Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick bekommen. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und ich kann das Hotel nur empfehlen. Im Hotel gibt es ein großes Parkhaus. Zwar sind die Parkplätze teilweise für große Autos eng, aber es gab genügend freie Parkplätze. In die Altstadt von Split läuft man ca. 20 Minuten zu Fuß. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich direkt am Hotel. Den Spa-Bereich haben wir nicht genutzt.

BE SURE TO CONTACT THE HOTEL IN ADVANCE TO MAKE SURE THE POOL IS OPEN. This would have been a top notch experience for us, however as we booked this hotel SOLELY for the rooftop pool - just to find out at check in that "it's currently not open, but may be tomorrow or the next." I would have much rather them share full transparency that the pool deck was under construction than for them to share false hope that it was going to be open in a day or two. We were visiting Split in the middle of May and there had been a decent amount of rain the week prior - but regardless, May is the start of their busy season so we were just a little confused why it wasn't ready prior to the month of May. The days that we were at the hotel were week days, it was sunny and beautiful, and yet no progress was made on the deck while we were there. We never had the opportunity to actually enjoy the rooftop pool. Obviously a lot of disappointment with the pool situation, but the hotel refused to give any kind of compensation even though no where it mentioned online that their pool was closed for construction. Regardless, the hotel is beautiful, walking distance to the beach/bars/restaurants/grocery store, the rooms were spacious, comfortable, indoor spa is massive and well kept, and major bonus was the amazing spread at breakfast every morning food at dinner within the hotel restaurant was top notch. Only a 5 minute drive to the old town - if you use Uber it's only about 4 euro each way!

We loved our stay here. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were traveling with our dog and they provided a bed and dishes for her. The gluten free options were superb! It made for a special breakfast and so good we even stayed for dinner two of the nights. The pool, hot tub, saunas and gym were great. Perfect for a relaxing escape in the city. The room was very clean and cleaned daily. I’d recommend and definitely stay again.

Overall a nice stay - about 25 minutes walk to the Old Town. Breakfast was OK. If you’re planning on using the pool and sunbeds, there was not much space there and get there early as they fill up quickly. Also the swimming pool is very small and very very cold!

The front desk service was amazing! The spa was a huge disappointment. The lady at the desk was rude and unhelpful. The treadmill was broken and unsafe. We mentioned it to her so no one got hurt and she was very rude about us mentioning it to her. The sauna area was amazing! The Finnish sauna was not hot at all. The door on the sauna needs to addressed as it has about an inch opening. So the heat escapes. I booked this hotel specifically for the spa services. They promoted waxing, but when I went to book, they do not offer that service yet.

Enda nackdelen var att all frukost inte var tillgänglig vid 6:30 när restaurangen öppnade. Rent rum och hotell som gjorde resan till en trevlig vistelse. Stora rum och fräscht badrum. Tyvärr lite mörkt på vissa ställen i korridoren. Av säkerhetsskäl bör dörren ha titthål och inte öppnas inåt. Detta bör åtgärdas.

We had a great stay at the Marvie Hotel & Health. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. We ordered room service for lunch and it was also tasty and was delivered quickly. The spa facilities were clean and well appointed. We had an issue with the air conditioning going out in our room on our last night, but the staff quickly resolved the issue by moving us to a different room. The check in and check out experience were smooth. The location of the hotel was quiet, and it was nice to be located away from the more touristy areas near Diocletian's Palace and the cruise port. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel was OK, just OK and as premium prices were paid, the following observations are noted: - Staff was friendly, helpful. - The location was good. - Amenities (pool, restaurant, views) were OK. - Easy access to transportation. - The facility could use some much needed maintenance. o The carpet in our rooms (we stayed in 2 different ones) we in need of deep cleaning/replacement. o The bathrooms showed signs of wear. - The staff seemed minimal. This was noted by the staff members themselves

Very clean room. Staff were very friendly and spoke English really well. Food was delicious. Breakfast selection was awesome and catered to all dietary needs. The spa and rooftop pool was a great experience. Would definitely recommend this property.

Construction noise was very loud. If you have a sea view room- you will overlook a new apartment building in front of the hotel and you will hear the construction noise of drilling and trucks that starts at 07:30. If I would have known this before, I would not have booked this hotel. The plastic in the shower tub was broken, so each time I took a shower, it filled the bathroom with water. The breakfast selection was very good.

The Marvie was a fantastic hotel for our stay in Split. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large, the view from our balcony provided gorgeous views and the roof deck was even better. The free breakfast was fantastic too.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. Check in was easy and efficient. The room wasn’t ready, but we were early and were able to store our luggage and make use of the pool area on the roof. The area is compact, and gets busy. We were lucky to grab a couple of sun beds as someone left almost as soon as we arrived. The room was large and well appointed. It was described as looking over a courtyard. In reality, it’s a car park that belongs to the hospital which this hotel backs directly on to. Patients can see the hotels rooms, and likewise we theirs. Don’t be put off though, the privacy drapes and the curtains are enough. Breakfast was in good, as you’d expect for a hotel of this type. Didn’t use the bar or evening restaurant, but I expect they had a good offer. The hotel itself is a little on the edge of Split town, and a 15 - 20 walk in which is uphill in parts. We’d stay again.

The stay started badly when I was “upgraded” to a bigger room (deluxe instead of superior room). Good on paper. However, the reality is that I paid for a room with sea view and got a room with a construction in front of the room that had not only not any sea view at all but forced us to close the curtains since construction workers were just in front. I realized that the next morning since I arrived at night. Also, I requested a king size bed and got twin separate beds. To make it even worst, the next day there was a water issue in the hotel and there was NO WATER SUPPLY IN THE HOTEL for the entire morning. I was unable to have a shower or any basic higiene … I went to the front desk to file a claim and the service was terrible. Instead of offering solutions or any facility, I was informed that I should have my TV on to read the announcement or to see the sign on the elevator and offered to send somebody to fix the TV if it was not working. I asked to file a claim and the reception person offered me a blank piece of paper to write down my frustration. A total joke and lack of respect. I paid more than 300 euros per night and not no discount, gesture or amenity for the inconvenience. I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

Lovely hotel but view of a building site opposite was not the ‘partial sea view’ I had paid a premium for. Book with caution - if you want a sea view it will have to be on the 4th or 5th floors and don’t think a ‘partial sea view’ means that - it’s only a vey few of the rooms have a limited sea view between gaps in buildings from the lover floors. Book with caution - if you want a sea view it will have to be on the 4th or 5th floors and don’t think a ‘partial sea view’ means that - it’s only a vey few of the rooms have a limited sea view between gaps in buildings from the lover floors. Construction noise was very loud. If you have a sea view room- you will overlook a new apartment building in front of the hotel and you will hear the construction noise of drilling and trucks that starts at 07:30. If I would have known this before, I would not have booked this hotel. The plastic in the shower tub was broken, so each time I took a shower, it filled the bathroom with water. The breakfast selection was very good.

This property and its staff were exceptional. We arrived in Split late in the evening but received a warm and thorough welcome from the reception staff. We spent much of our time using the spa and wellness facilities. Our room was comfortable and quiet which made for great rest. I wouldn’t hesitate to return as a guest and have already recommended Marvie to friends.

We loved our stay here. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We were traveling with our dog and they provided a bed and dishes for her. The gluten free options were superb! It made for a special breakfast and so good we even stayed for dinner two of the nights. The pool, hot tub, saunas and gym were great. Perfect for a relaxing escape in the city. The room was very clean and cleaned daily. I’d recommend and definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at the Marvie Hotel & Health. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. We ordered room service for lunch and it was also tasty and was delivered quickly. The spa facilities were clean and well appointed. We had an issue with the air conditioning going out in our room on our last night, but the staff quickly resolved the issue by moving us to a different room. The check in and check out experience were smooth. The location of the hotel was quiet, and it was nice to be located away from the more touristy areas near Diocletian's Palace and the cruise port. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The front desk service was amazing! The spa was a huge disappointment. The lady at the desk was rude and unhelpful. The treadmill was broken and unsafe. We mentioned it to her so no one got hurt and she was very rude about us mentioning it to her. The sauna area was amazing! The Finnish sauna was not hot at all. The door on the sauna needs to addressed as it has about an inch opening. So the heat escapes. I booked this hotel specifically for the spa services. We had an OK stay at Marvie Hotel. Packed by the pool every day, people reserve their sunbeds as if it were a cheap family resort. We got the wrong room at first. Unpleasant woman at the reception. Coffee from a coffee machine, apparently it cost extra if you wanted a fresh cup of coffee from the barista machine. Will not stay here again when we visit Split.

We stayed here for a couple of nights. Check in was easy and efficient. The room wasn’t ready, but we were early and were able to store our luggage and make use of the pool area on the roof. The area is compact, and gets busy. We were lucky to grab a couple of sun beds as someone left almost as soon as we arrived. The room was large and well appointed. It was described as looking over a courtyard. In reality, it’s a car park that belongs to the hospital which this hotel backs directly on to. Patients can see the hotels rooms, and likewise we theirs. Don’t be put off though, the privacy drapes and the curtains are enough. Breakfast was in good, as you’d expect for a hotel of this type. Didn’t use the bar or evening restaurant, but I expect they had a good offer. The hotel itself is a little on the edge of Split town, and a 15 - 20 walk in which is uphill in parts. We’d stay again.

This property is in a very bad part of split and it’s a ten min Uber from old town. The hotel was nothing special. Some staff was nice but some were very rude. We would not recommend the hotel. There is nothing in the area to see.

The hotel is ideally located a short distance to Split Riva and nearby beach. There are many options of restaurants in the neighborhood. The breakfast is great with many options. What I really liked is that if you have an evening departure like we did, the hotel allows you to check out on time but give you a pass to use the facilities such as the pool and wellness center. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. All the staff are courteous and helpful. The reception staff even tried to help me with my transportation when it was delayed. I would definitely stay here again.

The Marvie was a fantastic hotel for our stay in Split. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was large, the view from our balcony provided gorgeous views and the roof deck was even better. The free breakfast was fantastic too.

Amazing breakfast - definitely the best part. Room and bed nice and big Staff at reception friendly. Hotel restaurant served an excellent lunch, too. The main downside was the smell of cigarette smoke in the room :( really unpleasant.

The breakfast at Marvie was the tastiest hotel breakfast I’ve ever had! The pancetta, the sausages, the coffee, the cocoa, the cheese… Every morning started in such a delicious way. And the days we didn’t leave the hotel continued just as nice. The rooftop pool, the drinks, the indoor spa — we loved it all! This was truly value for money. Honestly one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Helpful and friendly staff, nice room, amazing view of the ocean. And the hotel is super close to several beaches as well as a 20-30 minute walk from the old town in Split. I recommend staying here to couples and friends who want some relaxing days and a pleasant base for their time in Split. All in all just a remarkable experience! Thank you!!!

Great Hotel. The staff were very nice and helpful. We had a great view. Our room was a nice size with a king bed. The restaurant and roof top pool were great extra's. It is an easy 20 minute walk to old town. However its a short uber or taxi ride too. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Such a warm welcome from reception staff which as a solo traveller was greatly appreciated. They went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. The Spa facilities were a real treat and included within the price so as well as using the spa later in the day I also managed a swim before breakfast. The beaches aren't great so the roof top pool (although more of a dipping pool than a swimming pool) and bar was a haven with a wonderful view. The room was spacious, clean and tidy and spare towels provided at roof top pool and spa. I also enjoyed a great deep tissue massage. The hotel offers everything you need and felt a real treat. It's a bit out.of the main hub-bub of Split (about 25 mins walk) so as long as this is what you want then perfect.. thoroughly recommend.
