Casa Lotería Sayulita - Family Boutique Hotel with Spacious Full Kitchen Suites, Restaurant, Rooftop Yoga, Pool & Free Parking - 3 min to Beach

Stayed here with my family for 8 nights. The suite was amazing with full kitchen, balcony overlooking the pool, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The suite and property were very clean and well maintained. Every staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and seemed to go out their way to be accommodating and welcoming. My kids loved the pool. It isn't heated which made it very refreshing. There is a hot tub there to warm up in if needed. There was ample seating and lounge chairs with umbrellas. The courtyard and pool area is like a little oasis filled with tropical plants and palm trees. There is also a restaurant on site. The hotel is only about a block and a half from the beach and a short 5 minute walk to the main square. Lots of little corner stores within a block. We were there with two children under the age of 10 so being able to easily walk everywhere was great. There is also yoga on the rooftop in the mornings. We will definitely be staying here the next time we return to Sayulita!! Loved this place!

Hotel básico pero bonito, entiendo que recientemente cambió de nombre y la administración está muy atenta a hacer mejoras en todo momento. Muy recomendable la habitación con acceso a la alberca. Bien el desayuno, muy fresco preparado al momento, y gran detalle las clases de yoga gratis por la mañana. A cuadra y media de la playa y muy cerca de la Zona comercial.

The Hotel was located in a great spot. Walkable to beach and the down town Sayulita. Covered garage parking that locks down at 10pm. If you come back from driving after 10pm they will open the garage for you. This is a very rare find in Sayulita. The staff was very friendly.

We had a wonderful stay! The staff was friendly & responsive. We loved the pool, as well as the poolside restaurant. Our one bedroom suite was very convenient for our family of three. Loved having a kitchenette with (fridge, stove & microwave), plenty of space & quick access to the pool. It was an easy walk to town/restaurants/stores. We visited during the low season, so the hotel was quiet. But even then, I didn’t hear noise from the street or town.

This property is really lovely, it’s in a questionable area of town but once inside you can appreciate the beautiful rooms, the pool area and the decor. Lots of tropical plants and the staff were wonderful. There is a soccer field right across the street and nights were very noisy til quite late. The bar and food at poolside was a plus. I stayed with many family members and we had 10 grandchildren enjoying the pool at times. It was down season so they had the pool almost exclusively to themselves and had such a fun time here. Quick walk to the beach and they have golf carts to rent to explore the town. I had a two room suite with kitchen, bathroom and a little terrace right next to the pool. Comfortable and clean.

Very nice place. Just 1.5 block walk to the beach. Pretty noisy here during Sayulita days. Pool is kinda small and cold.

Un excelente lugar para descansar y pasar unos días, el hotel es pequeño pero agradable, nos encantó que el cuarto tuviera dos pisos con dos cuartos, dos baños y además cocina, comedor, sala y balcón. El personal siempre muy amable y atento en todo momento. La alberca siempre tranquila y la limpiaban diario por las mañanas. El servicio de desayunos muy bien y rico, quizá le falta algo más de variedad pero la verdad siempre desayunamos bien. El horario de comidas me pareció un poco corto (hasta las 4:00 pm), tenía un mini bar cerca de la alberca, pero me parece que también tenía el mismo horario.

Casa Loteria was a great choice of accommodations for our family on our trip to Sayulita. The hotel is within walking distance of anything you could possible need, and the grounds/staff were excellent. Pros: property was great, breakfast was well worth the extra fee, staff was friendly and helpful, parking accommodations were great, and the pool/hot tub were clean and well maintained. Cons: Pool was a bit cold, and due to the property layout it was tough to get enough sun to warm it up. On the Saturday night during our stay there was an impromptu concert at the soccer field across the street that played until 5am the next morning which made sleep pretty difficult for the kids. I understand this isn't on the hotel at all, and I understand that the local community is well within their rights to have a good fiesta, but it did affect the trip a bit. Overall, Casa Loteria was great, and I'd love to return in the future!

Parking was good, room was comfortable. Loved the cold pool.

Were do i start, the pool was very dirty and not well maintained. Check in starts at 3pm arrived like at 3:30pm and went in the pool around 5pm. The pool was very dirty when i offered to clean myself with tools, was told maintainence was closed and there was nobody to clean or hand me a tool. By the way the pool closes at 9pm and maintainence is gone by 4. The jacuzzi was not functioning. When i asked if its not working or its off, they said its off and dont know how to turn on. Supposedly only maintainence knows how to turn on and they were gone. They should then close the pool at 4 when maintainence leaves, since apparently no one in the hotel knows how to turn on a jacuzzi. In the morning they only offer free coffee, which by the way you have to drink it black, because there is no milk or creamer. I booked 3 rooms for 12 people, and was charged 200 pesos extra because i had an extra 3 year old in my party. Were apparently there was enought room for my toddler to sleep in my king size bed, which they assign king beds for only 2 people. The service is mid, but theyre too many rules and the service is not up to par.

Clean rooms, quiet location, walkable and friendly staff. I would stay here again for sure.

Housekeeping never turned over the room in 7 nights. Suite lacks dish towels and dish cloths, Dish rack and a toilet brush. The suite was nice. A.C worked great. Hotel charged for a third guest even though the room sleeps 6. Pool was inoperative the last 2 days. Staff and location was great. Everythig else was par. Parking was not included as advertised. Also the property offers the pool to the public for 400 pesos a day, it is not private. Overall. A generous 3/5

This hotel is a gem. It is an oasis of quiet and chill in busy Sayulita. The staff is lovely, above and beyond helpful and super friendly. The grounds of the hotels were delightful and everything was super clean. The pool was perfect for relaxing and pool side lunch and all day bevvies were awesome. Hotel was located within walking distance of everything and only one block from the beach. If I was able to give a higher star rating, I would.

Beautiful little hotel, we will absolutely be back! Our room was clean, spacious yet cozy. I have a high standard of cleanliness and this place surprised me, in the best way! Such a great space for families, felt very safe and welcoming. The photos of the hotel do not do it justice, it is such a gem. Only issue we had was the hot tub kept running cold, besides that, the place was 5/5 stars. We did some yoga during our stay as well, that was a very nice little treat. It is a quick 5 minute walk to down town Sayulita, 3 minute walk to the beach.

Hotel is close to the action but quiet. It's not the nicest area in town but did feel safe. Our room was not the same as in the photos - our kitchen had cracked countertops and dismal lighting, no dining table or island. Mattresses and pillows had stains, main shower drain was backed up, front door lock and a shower door handle were broken. The last two were fixed after we enquired twice at the front desk. They told us there were no other rooms available when we complained. Pool area was nice and yoga was great.

However, during our 5-night stay, housekeeping only attended our room once, which felt way too little given that toilet paper is not allowed to be flushed down the toilet, and the trash bins in our bathroom were overflowing… A/C unit in kitchen/living area not working, and very difficult (impossible) to adjust in the bedrooms (either ice cold, or off). Shower walls “leaking”, in particular in one of the bathrooms, leaving a “lake” on the bathroom floor, rendering the shower more or leas unusable (luckily we had two bathrooms). Limited flexibility regarding checkout time.

Certainly a great location and value with lots of space in our 2 -story apartment …. Could use a refresh w more comfy furniture, bed is loud and cranky and living room furniture not comfy.

Check in was a strict 3 pm not even 5 minutrs early which meant that everyone was waiting in line as there was only one person to check in everyone. Wifi is bad continually disconnected. Very load from kids in the pool.

El Pueblito was nice. Maybe a bit overpriced for what you get, but maybe not because I think Sayulita may be that way overall. There was plenty of room with the two bedrooms and two baths. The set up of a king bed in one room and a pair of twin beds in the other was perfect for us (family with 2 teens). The people were nice (the food recs we got from the front desk not great) and the free water and coffee was good to have (you could go fill up water bottles near reception). It was very fun to drive around the golf cart we rented for the day from them. The reason I say it may be overpriced is that we didn’t have full water in the kitchen or one of the bathrooms for a couple of days. And the hot tub wasn’t hot. The pool is nice enough (a little run down, but fine), but the hot tub was barely even warm. The location is good, close to the beach and close to the main part of town. Not too noisy, but not super quiet either.

Great little property in Sayulita. We stayed in the 2 bedroom family suite and it was perfect. Housekeeping was great and cleaned the rooms nicely every day.

Nice hotel, staff were great. the Room was nice. the only complain is the curtains; It doesn't keep the morning light out and the brightness wake you. they should use better quality for a better resting

I have stayed at this location several times and loved it . This time it was NOT the same . The staff is not accommodating or helpful at all . As a matter of fact they are disengaged and inattentive. The restaurant which used to have full pool service is beyond a joke . Jonathan the bartender that was there everyday of my stay was atrocious. He wound sit at the bar on his phone all day. Didn’t pay attention to patrons. He would be chatting with his coworkers. Which at times was beyond loud and inappropriate for the work place . I would have to flag him down to get service . He was never around to check back if we needed anything else. I get better assistance going thru McDonald’s drive thru . Also I was sitting at a pool table had a snack and a few drinks early afternoon . The dirty dishes sat on that table till the next morning . That is gross . Whoever is now managing the support and customer service staff needs to either train the current staff what customer looks like . Or hire individuals that understand what service looks like .

Casa Loteria has several things going for it! We loved the pool, especially the kids pool. The breakfasts were wonderful and the staff, in general, were very friendly, attentive, and helpful. The location is great as you're close to everything. Free yoga class was wonderful on the rooftop. However, I cannot recommend this hotel and the next time I go to Sayulita, I will be staying elsewhere. From the moment we arrived, we had problems. There were blood stained sheets on one of the beds, our safes were closed and not operable for a night until they had to be opened, and the A/C could not turn off for two nights due to terrible remotes and batteries. It was freezing in our place. The next morning after we arrived when we wanted to go to another town, our car was blocked in for about an hour as they searched for the driver of the truck blocking us. To top all of this off, when we shared all of these grievances with the manager THREE TIMES, he did nothing for us. He had said he was working on it as they normally don't give any compensation, but he never followed through. It's really too bad, as the staff is wonderful, the place is beautiful, but the management is terrible. These were all issues that were simple and should have never been problems that we had to deal with on our vacation. I've never stayed in a hotel like this where the management wouldn't make up for their mistakes with the customer.

Great costumer service

An excellent property, indeed. Location, included terrific on site food, a nice pool, comfortable beds, and a cozy boutique style. Loved the “Loteria” ( a popular Mexican bingo game), theme, free early morning Yoga, and a VIP complementary bottle of fine wine. But, the real stand out for me was the fantastic staff, including Luis, Adrian, Enrique, and Betsy, who did EVERYTHING to ensure me and my partner’s safety. comfort, and enjoyment. If something needed improvement, the staff did EVERYTHING to make it right. In fact, we left a couple of belongings in our room. With one call, our things were located, and the front desk sprang into action to get our items directly back home to us. That’s the definition of service to the customer ! The surrounding area provided everything a curios traveler could want, including great food, fun shopping, a gorgeous ocean, and that laid back Sayulita ambiance we all could use more of. I know that with such a glowing Expedia hotel review, Casa Sayulita will draw many new travelers, and that’s just fine with me, because this hotel deserves a ton of compliments! As for myself, I look forward to the next time I come to beautiful Sayulita and especially the soulful and caring staff which makes Casa Loteria, by itself, such a special hotel destination. Viva Casa Loteria!

Staff were awesome - husband lost his wallet under the bed and they found it and we were lucky enough to have friends available to pick it up.

We havs a great time, the staff was so nice and helpful (Jonathan, Carlos, Omar, Valeria). The hotel was very clean and had all we needed for our stay Walking distance from everything Sayulita has to offer. We will be coming back for sure!

The trip and stay at this hotel was excellent. The front desk person of Jose, Alejandra and staff person of Lennon were the very best in service, coursety, helpfulness that we have ever experienced in any hotel. The overall experience with all the staff was the very best.

The only good thing about this hotel was Jonathon the server. The rest of the staff was difficult to deal with. They double charged us and we still haven’t got the money back. My kid cut her foot on the hot tub tiles. Rooms were never cleaned. The place has gone down substantially from a year ago.

Victor at check in was great. The hotel is clean enough, nothing truly remarkable, but good value. Yoga class is a nice touch. The restaurant only serves breakfast and there is no bar. Pool area is cute. My complaint is that I had communicated with the property via email that my Dad has physical disabilities. We shared a 2 bedroom. I was assured we would be on the ground floor. We were up two steep flights of slippery tile stairs and the s narrow twisting double staircase to get to the rooms. He was exhausted and in so much pain by the end of the trip. I told the person at check in. He didn’t acknowledge it in the least. The man at the front desk in our last night was very fidgety and aggregated. We asked him to reserve a taxi for Sunday and heavily groaned and sighed for several minutes. I finally told him he could just text me when he Couto a hold off then to confirm. He never did. Nor did he reserve a taxi. breakfast was mediocre. The server had 4 tables and was extremely overwhelmed. What appeared to be a manager leered over him but didn’t bother to jump in and help him. I would not return because of the service being an issue. The most concerning was failing to honor a request for a disabled person.

Staff is absolutely lovely. The front desk are very friendly and happy to help, the only upsetting part was that the manager will charge women an extra charge if you happen to stain the linen with period blood. It was so incredibly disappointing to have to speak about my privacy in public and argue against an extra charge against women only. I had other female customers who had to stand up with me in order to get the manager to not charge us. Disheartening to see unequal treatment in 2024.

Location was great - everything was walking distance but far enough to avoid noise - very friendly and helpful staff - breakfast choice was good and very well priced -we rented a golf cart for the day and it was fun - we will definitely return

When we come back to Sayulita, we'll definitely be staying here again. The villa feel is amazing! They offer free yoga which is a plus! The lication also can't be beat. It's not even a block from the ocean, and a 2 min walk to all the downtown restaurants. This place is perfection!

The property and the room itself are fine but the surrounding area is a bit old and not very clean, dirt roads.

This hotel is definitely geared for families. It is a prime location just 1.5 blocks to the beach and a couple blocks to the center of town.

This place was charming with character and was in an excellent location! The north side is quiet and yet close to all of the excitement. The small restaurants right around this hotel are fantastic, each with their own quaint vibe, great food and drinks. The beach is literally 1.5 blocks away and completely flat, so easy access. The rooms are super quiet and the AC works great… things that matter!

Small hotel with lovely pool surrounded by beautiful vegetation . Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant had a limited menu but it was good. Lots of restaurants an easy walk away but some very expensive. Rooms very clean. King sized bed really comfy. No bedside lamps only overhead one. Kitchen needed basics like salt and pepper. Large knife blunt so couldn’t cut up our fruit and bread. Also wanted to clean up but no cloths or towel to dry hands. No idea how to work TV. Hand soap in bathroom was like water. Don’t think we would bother with kitchen again.

Alan was great and friendly as well as the other stuff. There’s AC in the room which is nice considering the hot weather. Check in was nice and easy. Breakfast (which you have to buy separately) it’s good but options are limited, something to keep in mind if looking for a wide variety. Rooms are not sound proof and we stayed in the first floor with access to the pool but you can literally hear people talking.

Staff was wonderful, friendly and accommodating. Very clean. We loved that breakfast was included and made to order (Get the chilaquiles and the cafe de olla! Yum!) Walking distance to all the good restaurants and the beach. Perfect setup for our family with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a living area w/ kitchen. Not that you will want to cook with so much good food around! One improvement I would make is better lighting in the bathrooms. And maybe a magnifying mirror for my not-so-young eyes. :)

I really enjoyed this hotel for the beautiful room and balcony. Very clean and spacious. I was amazed at the shower. Staff were excellent and polite. The restaurant I had breakfast every morning very delicious Mexican style.
