We recently stayed here at the end of our tour of the UK. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would receommend it to anyone visiting the area. I had selected this Inn as it was close to Highclere Castle (aka Downtown Abbey) as we were going there the next day. Upon arrival we were greeted by the bar manager and quickly shown to our room. The room was great -- bed was comfy and plenty of room for two travellers with too much luggage!! We had drinks once we settled in outside in the garden. It was a lovely day and it was just like what you picture when you watch English tv shows when people are outside at the pub. We opted to eat in the pub dinner and the food was very good. NIce variety to select from - we each had the steak special which was not only very filling and tasty but the price was right too!! Breakfast was also served -- you were able to order a hot breakfast, and of course served on hot plates!! Enjoyed our stay and will definetly make the effort to return to this spot if in the area!!

We stayed at the Furze Bush Inn to be close to our tour at Highclere Castle. The place is an authentic English County Inn, surrounded by greenery and space. There is a great pub in the front and a great restaurant for dinner. The staff is completely accommodating It’s a beautiful old inn and a charming experience!

Lovely Inn/Guesthouse. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful pub/restaurant and gardens.. Rooms are a generous size and very comfortable. Food in the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. Breakfast was superb. Nothing too much terrible. Would definitely return and recommend to friends and family.

We stayed for one night in the big room in front . What a lovely room big everything you needed ,clean with a sofa and bed . The best bed ive slept in for ages ,the bathroom was lovely as well huge bath and great shower . We went down for dinner and a few drinks well what can i say it was amazing ,the staff were amazing very impressed they were brilliant helpful and interested in us and we had everything we needed . Thank you guys ... breakfast was also amazing plenty of it to set us up for the day please dont change anything .

This is a charming, family-run inn near Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey). The accommodations were comfortable although simple, and the pub is fantastic, with really excellent food. The service by the family that owns th Inn and their employees is very good. The prices are reasonable, and the locals are friendly. The garden is very pretty also. No complaints, would stay again. The tomato soup and goat cheese salad were standouts.

We stayed here whilst competing in a qualifier at Donnington golf course, great location. Lovely comfortable room, powerful shower in bathroom. Nice to have the tea/coffee making facility in the room. Food at breakfast and in the restaurant was fabulous!

Paper thin walls, extremely bare bones amenities, no staff after hours and breakfast only between 9:00-10:00am. Thought they were kidding about that, but … nope. However, dinner was much better than expected and the staff was quite nice.
