We had a 2-bedroom unit. Was clean, tidy and spacious with kitchen and laundry facilities. Plenty of options for eating right outside the hotel with restaurants and supermarkets. In a safe and quiet area. Parking is $15 a night wifi is free. The food markets are a 5-10min walk.

The place was wonderful other than we specifically booked it with our family and children with a pool to only discover the pool was absolutely freezing and not usable. We paid a lot of money for this room for exclusively the use of the pool so it was very disappointing.

A good sized two bedroom unit. Clean and comfortable. Great facilities nearby as in cafes, restaurants and an IGA. Beds were very soft but comfortable. It is quite noisy as you can hear voices and doors closing in other rooms. It also under the flight path but isn’t unbearable. Polite staff. Easy parking but is not included in the room cost.

L'appartement est moderne, bien décoré et fonctionnel. Dommage cependant que la petite terrasse attenante n'était pas nettoyée. Appartement bien situé au bord de la Brisbane River, restaurants et supermarchés autour, au top ! Parking à 15$ par jour.

They were friendly, helpful and nice. Great for dining options. Beware when dining in the Asian restaurant nearest to the hotel. They can catch you out with some of the meals. I got caught out on the very sweet waffles with eggs benidict. Not a great taste and they fail to warn you? I thought the bathroom could have been cleaned more. The floor was not great and around the shower screen. A bit of dog hair found on the couch too.

Very comfortable king bed and pillows! Having access to Foxtell was a treat. Great spot for access to restaurants and local cafes. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious apartment. Clean. Only complaint would be the water pressure in the shower was not great and to get hot water you have to wait over a minute for it to come through. Hot water tap is opposite to normal and they’re not labeled so you can’t tell. Would stay here again.

We stayed in this room for ease to travel to airport. The room was comfortable, but had a strange set up of no ensuite, so to get to the bathroom you had to walk out of the main bedroom and walk through the lounge room to enter the bathroom. The bathroom was very small with one of the smallest toilets I have ever encountered. It was like a child's toilet. Having said this, the property is convenient to many restaurants and other facilities, plus a short distance to airport.

Firstly, many, many thanks to Bernadette. She was extremely welcoming, warm and friendly at reception when I first arrived. She was also very helpful and attentive when we had problems with our leaking fridge. She also allowed us to have a later checkout of 1.5 hours, which was also very helpful. A couple of disappointments were not receiving our 2nd room clean (we declined the first but were told we would get a second) and no email reply (as requested according to the manager's email) to my completing the 'how did we go checking in' email from the manager regarding the fridge and dryer (that also needed some attention). Overall, we like Alcyone and would stay again. Thanks.

While the experience at the airport was a mess due to our emergency landing. The staff at the hotel were so kind, so empathetic. I work in in industry and they immediately made me feel calm and welcome as I was not supposed to be here. I reallyyyy love this hotel. What an amazing experience and happy accident. Pmease givr my regard to the ladies that work in the afternoon. Absolute gems. Would love to take this service levels back to our hotels in Vegas. God bless abd thank you

This was the second time I had stayed at Alcyone and I am just so impressed. Both times have been great! From the top tier customer service to the incredibly comfy bed, and the spacious rooms. I love staying here and would recommend to absolutely anyone planning a trip to Hamilton. We arrived early and they were able to accommodate an early check in with no problems, we needed extra bedding and they went above and beyond. Cannot fault this accommodation. 10/10!!

Here’s the English translation of the revised review: --- The service was incredibly kind and excellent! During this trip to Australia, we stayed for eight nights, including the Gold Coast, and this was the only hotel that made several adjustments in advance to ensure the room met our requests. All the staff were kind, and the interior was spacious and very clean. Although it may not be directly related to the hotel, even the staff at the liquor store in front of the hotel were very polite. I definitely want to stay here again next time. Thank you for the wonderful service!

This property is absolutely amazing especially if you want a good location in Brisbane where you canbstayband not feel like a tourist. There's numerous cafés, all sorts of food options that are OPEN LATE (a big deal in Brisbane), a movie theatre, a really awesome park across the street and so much more. Plus, it's a 15 minute walk to Eat Street and is right near the river. And for the planespotters, you get to see so many different planes landing at the airport. Overall, thoroughly impressed, and the staff were supremely helpful. Just an amazing stay that I can't rave about enough.

We had a great stay, we were greeted promptly, politely and Harry on the desk was very knowledgeable about the area. The location is good for the airport and close to plenty of restaurants and a very pleasant river walk. It’s not close to the city but a very pleasant ride on the river boat takes approximately 40 minutes depending on your stop.

Chose this place due to proximity to Brisbane Airport. Meets that criteria well. Plenty of eating places nearby serving a variety of types of food and there is even a cinema. The apartment itself (we had a 1 bedroom one) was well equipped and clean. Only stayed here one night so limited experience, but it all seemed good. On arrival you need to find somewhere to park to get checked in and get access to the car park - we were lucky, but that could be the trickiest part as there isn’t (AFAIK) any specific temp checkin parking. But other than that, all good.

The hotel was good . lovely room ( actually an apartment) with a kitchen area , dinning area sitting area washing machine and dryer lovely big bed .!really helpful , very welcoming staff Only thing is it’s quite a way out of the city so really need a car ! ( although ferry and bus are not too faraway )

From the moment we stepped into the place we were made to feel welcome. You couldn't fault the room, it was clean, spacious and had everything you needed for your stay. The 24hr cafe downstairs was perfect - food at your fingertips anytime you desired and their staff were very friendly and food was great. The location is within walking distance to catch the ferry, there is everything you need around you, a bakery, wine cellar, IGA, restaurants, Baskin & Robbins and even a barber next door.. You literally wouldn't have to go anywhere else for anything. Loved it!

Stayed at this property 1 night pre cruise. What a fabulous place. Bed was very comfortable. Cafe downstairs was 24 hour and beautiful food. Close to ferry wharf to get into Brisbane CBD. Wanted to stay longer. Found my pre cruise accommodation for Brisbane for the future. Staff were lovely. Supermarket nearby & very walkable area.
