Great location and a very warm welcome. Room was very dark but good size. Don’t bother paying extra for a balcony. Our view was a concrete block of rooms so not enjoyable to utilise. Didn’t use it at all. Gym is terrible. One mat and 2 very old machines, no weights. Could hear heavy footed guests above but bearable. We didn’t opt for the breakfast but it did feel strange as it’s served in the reception area. They did offer soba noodles free of charge between 9 pm and 11 pm which sadly is too late for us. Missed opportunity really as it would be a lot better to have this offered between 5 and 8 pm. We would still recommend though.

Fantastic hotel, the sake bar and noodle service at night was great! Be sure to order breakfast the night before if you want breakfast. The rooms were roomy and beautiful!

fabulous stay - the venue was so friendly and we loved our personalised welcome and drink of tea on arrival. We also recommend the safe tasting paddle - would do that again. The rooms were superb - the spa bath was a perfect way to soak after all our walking, the entrance to the rooms were so cute and the decor inside was inspirational - want to design my house similar now.
