Our stay at the Hyatt in downtown Madrid was amazing! From the moment we arrived, staff were attentive and kind. Jose at the front desk was very helpful and friendly! Our room was perfect - we opted for a view of the Gran Via which was lovely. The balcony does not have furniture but that was OK with us. There is also no pool at this hotel so keep that in mind. One suggestion I have is for an ice machine to be available to guests - there is a surcharge of ~£5 for a small bucket of ice from room service. Staff allowed us to have an extended check out time until 2pm free of charge. This was wonderful because our flight wasn’t until 4:30pm. Thank you for a great visit to Madrid!

The location is central to Sol, Plaza España. Beautiful, luxury hotel with great staff, service. Fantastic rooftop terrace tapas bar and amazing restaurant with wonderful views of the Gran Via.

Beautiful. The only one thing was one of three elevators didn’t work and at one point only one elevator was operating. We had to take the stairs up to the eight floor a few times. Otherwise, everything was amazing here. Perfect location. Didn’t need a cab or Metra to get to where we wanted to go. 5 stars for me.

Very nice property, clean and close to everything. Staff very friendly. Only thing was never able to go up to rooftop bar/dining always to busy. Should be given an option to just view the site. Dining for dinner was excellent, our waiter was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely come again.

The Hyatt Centric Madrid is a pet-friendly hotel, but we were unaware of this until our arrival. Upon entering our room, we noticed a strong odor resembling dog urine. We brought this to the attention of the concierge, who suggested we go for lunch to give them time to clean the room. However, when we returned three hours later, we were informed that no cleaning had taken place because there team did not noticed any foul smell. I explained that they might not have noticed the smell because they had become accustomed to it. Overall, we found the hospitality training of the staff to be lacking.

Compared to other hotels with same star ratings and upgrades we stayed in this same area last week, our room was small, beds very small and uncomfortable, shower had warm water but not hot water. Travelled with family. Had 2 rooms. On the positive side hotel is in good location. Room was quiet and clean. Not the best choice. Will not stay here again.

The family room was perfect! Loved that it was two adjoining spacious rooms each with their own bathroom. The rooftop bar area was a fun place to go for pre-dinner drinks and the hotel's location was unbeatable in that it was right on the main shopping street and very walkable to restaurants, museums, parks and other attractions.

2nd time to choose this hotel , it’s my favorite stay choice while visiting Madrid, though little pricy yet worth every cent paid ! This time I stayed on 7th floor and would like to make a small observation about the shower & sink water which its temperature flactuates un comfortably!! Also sometimes it’s a long wait for the elevators during peak times . Otherwise, I love everything in this hotel 👍👍

I received an early check-in and it was much appreciated. The front desk was trying to put me on to the 9th floor, but I remember reading one of the Expedia reviews about the noise that is heard on the 9th floor, so I asked for room on another floor. I was assigned to the 8th floor, and there was a party that night on the 10th floor that you could hear the noise, so luckily for me I avoided the 9th floor issues. The beds were comfortably, and were the best I had during my time in Spain. The location of the hotel is in a popular tourist area. The room was nice but not worth the $500 CAD a night.

Ideal location if you are in for a few days for a quick Madrid getaway. The location is perfect for staying in a lively area close to few main attractions in Madrid. Our room had a view of the Gran Via which keeps you connected with the heart of Madrid. That does come with the sounds of sirens from the road but otherwise the room is quiet, clean and decent amenities. The terrace has good view, food and vibes. The staff was courteous and friendly. Def recommended.

Central location on Gran Via. My room was modern and efficient with a rain shower and bathtub, and a terrace which was a bonus. Front desk staff was professional and efficient. Very fast check in. Not your typical front desk set up, but it works. Seems to cater to a younger crowd. All staff is very professional. The housekeeping staff was absolutely outstanding. Room was always cleaned and set up very quickly each day.

I booked a room that had two double beds planning to stay with my husband and my two children. It would not let me enter for as occupancy so I entered three. When I got there, I was told that the room could not accommodate four people, even though there was enough bed space. This was very confusing as the room had advertised two double beds. The hotel manager told me that he was willing to work with me to try to get me an accommodation that would how’s my family as we were not allowed to stay in the room that we had booked. He told me that it would be an additional 300+ euros for a secondary room or 500+ euros for a suite and that was on top of close to the $500 US that I had already spent on the room. I told him that that was exorbitant and would not fit our budget. He did ultimately give us a refund, but the whole experience was very frustrating. I have never had a Hyatt not be willing to go above and beyond to try to meet our needs, especially as we had already arrived and we were very tired from a long day of travel.

We loved staying here 2 nights, in the middle of all the action on Grand Via. We walked to shopping, bars/restaurants and important tourist attractions. Coming by car and needing to park could be problematic in this area due to high traffic. We arrived by taxi and it was very convenient. Our room balcony overlooked Grand Via shops which we loved. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The rooftop bar is a gem! Our family recommends this hotel without reservation. We’d love to stay here again if/when we will be back in Madrid.

Recentemente me hospedei no seu hotel. Gostaria de compartilhar minha experiência, especialmente um ponto que considero importante para futuras melhorias. Durante minha estadia, as ruas ao redor do hotel estavam fechadas devido ao evento de orgulho LGBTQI. Infelizmente, essa situação impossibilitou que nosso táxi nos deixasse na porta do hotel. Como resultado, tivemos que carregar malas pesadas por uma distância significativa, o que foi bastante desconfortável e cansativo, especialmente após uma longa viagem. Entendo que eventos como esse são importantes e que o fechamento das ruas pode estar fora do controle do hotel. No entanto, acredito que a comunicação antecipada sobre tais eventos e suas implicações para os hóspedes seria extremamente útil. Talvez uma sugestão de rotas alternativas ou assistência para o transporte das bagagens pudesse ter amenizado a situação. Agradeço pela atenção e espero que considerem essa sugestão para melhorar a experiência dos futuros hóspedes. No mais, aprecio a hospitalidade e os serviços oferecidos pelo hotel.

This hotel is extremely well located. The hotel is nice and very clean. The service was very good. The manager had snacks delivered to our room twice. Staff was friendly and willing to help you when needed. We will stay here again without a doubt. The restaurant on the first floor had some delicious and unique options for dinner.

The hotel is great, loved the breakfast’s buffet that included a la carte too. Staff was very friendly. Hotel is really well located. Loved the snack and tea table, it was a nice thing to have at the end of the day. The only part that I did not like was the detergent they use to wash the sheets I guess or the spray they use to “refresh” the room, it has a strong synthetic fragrance that lingered on my clothes during the day. If you like Downy or Farnese then you would not have a problem with that. My nose might be too sensitive.
