Beautiful property, located about a 15 minute walk from Amsterdam Centraal Station. The walk wasn’t bad but with luggage across cobblestones it did get a little bit tedious. Canal views are overrated. Rooms were nice and comfortable. We received a welcome cocktail upon arriving at the front desk. Staff was very helpful in recommending things to do in the area. The gym was tiny with little equipment beyond treadmills. There is a full bar in the lobby however there isn’t always a bartender on duty, which defeats the purpose if you want something more than beer or wine. My husband and I had hilarious nightcap conversation while he taught the front desk clerk how to make a proper cosmopolitan. The friendliness of the staff made up for those small inconveniences. The breakfast served was good. There’s a good sized buffet and you can get omelettes made to order.

Hotel staff were very welcoming and arriving before check-in were happy to store our bags for us. Hotel is a short walk to the train station and to cafes/restaurants. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and had a good bar. We didn't eat at the hotel so can not comment on the restaurant. Had tea/coffee and water available in room. Would stay here again and would recommend.

Hotel gut 10 Minuten fußläufig vom Hauptbahnhof. Sehr gut organisierter Empfang. Zimmer absolut leise und teilweise nach hinten zur Gracht hin. Makellos sauber, sehr schönes und großes Badezimmer. Hotelbar sehr gut, wenngleich spärlich besucht. Matratzen optimal, und sehr wichtig: Sehr gute Handtücher. Ich komme wieder.

Comfortable, clean hotel in a quiet location. Comfortable bed. The AC is quite good. (I had to turn it down). Good buffet breakfast. The exercise center is small, but has good equipment (Precor bike, treadmill and elliptical machine, good set of dumbbells, two exercise balls, etc.) Staff was very helpful for me with sight-seeing options, rental of one of their bikes and a request for a couple of top sheets to replace the duvet (too warm for me). It’s a bit removed from the major sights, but that’s why it’s quiet at night when you want to sleep. I walked to most places I wanted to see in 10 to 30 minutes. The trams cut down on some of that walking. If you’re comfortable riding a bike, you can get to the Van Gogh museum in 10 minutes.

Clean room. Serviced daily and fast. Hotel was close to eveything within walking. Only used the breakfast service on our last day in the bar area, which was convenient. Check in was fast and friendly and we were able to go to our room early on.

Cleaning staff did not clean my room for one day nor leave any clean towels. The room was small and the shower was not ideal as water flows out to the floor below vanity as the shower enclosure just had a shower curtain.

Fin nyrenoveret hotel med meget venlig personale. Tæt på kollektiv transport. Morgenmad er ret dårlig kvalitet: meget tynde udtørrede skiver ost, oversteget pølser, røræg uden smag etc Problemer på badeværelse (værelse nr 418) hvor vandet fra bruseren løber ud på gulvet i stedet for i afløb. Efterfølgende er gulvet så våd, at man kan ikke komme tørskoet til håndvasken. Og hvad skal man bruge til at røre gulvet op med??

Lovely hotel slightly on the edge of the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam but very walkable to metro and trolley. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. The bedding was perfectly crisp and comfortable. Excellent shower and well sppointed room. Would stay again!

We requested to have our room cleaned as part of normal our service. Hotel, maids only made the bed. Bathroom was NEVER cleaned- used bathroom towels and mats remained in the same location we left them. Hair on the night stand and in the bed and dirty food left in the room. Canal view is not expected, more like a swamp view. Hotel can use a serious upgrade to match its “rating.” You are charged for EVERYTHING including a bottle of water.

Great accommodation! Very clean & comfy room with updated bathroom & coffee machine. It was a little small but it was fine for a few nights. We walked everywhere - location was great! Had a room with a canal view which was ok. Staff very friendly! Would def stay again!

Staff is lovely. Beds are hard. This is not a 4 star, it’s a 3. No room service. Area outside around hotel is dirty with trash in the streets everywhere, it feels vaguely unsafe though the staff did reassure us that it was safe. I know I am judging it by American standards.

We had a good stay. But at first, the service is too slow for checkin. Then we had a room one floor below. under canal water level and we did not like the feeling…. We asked to change and with time and efforts we got a room on second floor. Everything was pretty good, the room was small but clean and had windows to open for fresh air. The big problem is that the mattress was in bad shape and very uncomfortable. We told reception on the last day, they said it’s noted but did not offer any compensation. It’s also in a safe surroundings and easy to go everywhere.

Hotel com quarto moderno, limpo, confortável e de bom tamanho. O destaque foi a vista muito bonita para o canal. O café da manhã é muito bom e a equipe bastante prestativa. É preciso caminhar de 10 ou 20 minutos para os principais pontos turísticos, então recomendo relaxar e curtir a arquitetura local durante a caminhada.

Check in was quick and friendly. Lovely touch bringing an arrival drink and then the receptionist walking us to the elevator. Room was spacious with a view of the canal. Perfect location as to be not in the centre of the night life, a short distance to surrounding neighbourhoods. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Food choices were optimal. Snacks at the bar after dining were enjoyable. Plenty of eateries within walking distance and the area is very safe. The front desk girl, Camile is an absolute jewel in this hotels crown. Her knowledge of the area and interesting tidbit that she shares made our visit totally enjoyable. I'm not sure we would have had the same experience without her guidance.

A equipe foi simplesmente perfeita. Tomei chuva na chegada e assim que iniciei o check in me foi oferecida toalha e bebida quente. Também tive problemas com o Uber eats e não consegui usar meu telefone (por erro meu) e eles me ajudaram com o da recepção (e, depois, me ofereceram talheres para comer o delivery). Definitivamente voltaria a me hospedar nesse hotel com essa equipe fantástica!

What a lovely hotel! Super friendly reception staff from start to finish - complimentary welcome drink and Tony's choc bar and a surprise little departure gift too. Beautiful decor, and fantastic rooms - Hypnos beds with quality linen and pillows, fridge, Nespresso, robes, slippers, free water and toiletries, quiet efficient air-con, powerful shower etc etc. We walked into the city and to and from the railway station but there is a Metro station close by if needed. Supermarket around the corner, and 5 minute walk to nice coffee shops, bistro etc. Quiet room overlooking a courtyard. Staff responded quickly to emai prior to trip. Excellent and highly recommended.

From the moment we walked through the door we were greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the team at Monet Gardens Hotel. We had to wait a moment to check in and were offered a beverage of choice and a relaxing spot to sit in the beautiful lounge. We entered the room and were thrilled to see what a great room we had, with all the amenities we could want and room to move. We will definitely recommend Monet Gardens Hotel to anyone we know who is planning a trip to Amsterdam.

As soon as we got to the hotel, Margarita greeted us and gave us champagne for a welcoming. She was extremely helpful in guiding us with dinner recommendations and reservations, getting us taxi’s, and supplying us with breakfast to go on the day of departure. The hotel is very clean and centrally located. We would definitely stay there again!!

From arrival to departure the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly, from giving advice for local landmarks and how best to get there to recommendations for nearby restaurants to ordering taxi's etc, the list goes on. Breakfast offered a fantastic choice of delicious variety to easily satisfy every appetite.

Hotel novo, bonito, bem arrumado e com um staff muito caloroso e sorridente (especialmente a argentina que trabalha na recepção, que era muito gentil, comunicativa). Achamos as instalações modernas, organizadas e confortáveis. Nosso quarto tinha uma vista para um dos canais e isso deixou a experiência bem melhor A única coisa que de fato não gostamos, na visão de turistas, foi a localização, pois era longe (leia-se 30 minutos a pé) de toda e qualquer atração turística. Então, se você é turista e a localização é um ponto essencial, acho que não é a melhor alternativa, mas se for o conforto do hotel, café da manhã, um bom staff e instalações novas e modernas, certamente pode ficar aqui. Peça uma quarto virado para o canal. Bem próximo há supermercado, restaurantes, estacionamento (muito caro) e outros serviços.

Wonderful hotel, excellent buffet breakfast with the option to order made-to-order items as well such as omelettes, Dutch pancakes, etc. Good assortment of fresh fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice daily and wonderful coffee. Welcome drink of your choice for each guest. Very well situated, we walked to every destination. Grocery store and drugstore a block away. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in every way and would stay here next time!

Very friendly, attentive staff and helpful with any questions when going out. Great breakfast items and variety of morning coffee, teas and juices.
