Check in very good. Property clean and well kept. Stairs to rooms but not too steep or narrow. No parking so if you find one on the road outside you should grab. Otherwise parking in the station car park but it will cost you. Close to the town with good access to local bus services. Breakfast really good. You need to book for the local restaurants or you will end up eating at the Gloucester, which is not very good.

We had a fabulous two night stay at Fernleigh B&B in Robin Hoods Bay. Our hosts, Chris and Jane, were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a double ensuite room with a glimpse of the sea. They have lovingly restored their Victorian villa and maintain it beautifully. We were very comfortable and so close to the main road which led down into the bay. They gave us great advice about where to eat and we braved the bus to Whitby on a Bank holiday Monday! The bus stop is just around the corner. You can reach the coastal path easily from the property too. Jane cooked the most superb scrambled eggs. You have to try them! We had a great short break at Fernleigh and would thoroughly recommend Chris and Jane and their beautiful home to anyone considering a short stay in or around this area. There is no parking at the property, but we found parking along the road, which wasn't a problem at all. Thank you both. You work so very hard and we really appreciate everything you did to make us feel so welcome.

What a very very good b&b in Robin Hoods Bay. Really clean throughout, spacious room ensuite nothing too much trouble for Jane and Chris. Breakfast cooked to order was brilliant. Lovely stay as a couple to celebrate my 63rd birthday. Made to feel very welcome, very knowledgeable & yummy homemade brownies on arrival & tasty breakfast each morning. Parking outside property and walking distance into village, pubs, cafes etc. We will return.

Excellent all round. Chris and Jane made us feel welcome the second we arrived. Rooms spotless and comfortable. The decor of the entire Guest House was beautiful. Breakfast was superb and service great. We stayed 3 nights and everything about our stay was superb. Without doubt, one of the best, if not the best, guest house we’ve stayed in.

Chris and Jane were amazing hosts! Very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Their beautiful guesthouse is one of the nicest placest we've ever stayed. Our room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and included everything that we needed. The breakfast was delicious! Freshly cooked to order, using very high quality produce....just exquisite. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Fernleigh B&B to everyone! Would definitely book again in a heartbeat. Perfect stay......5 star review!

What an amazing place, from the warm welcome , and homemade brownies!! warm bedroom ,lovely crisp white bedding, comfortable bed and excellent pillows. we loved the tasty breakfast, and the sweet antique crockery it was served on . Very quiet location, we also had a sea view, and just a short walk to the bay.

The stay was great we arrived at 3 and were greeted by the very friendly owner who then showed us our room . The room was lovely with en-suite shower room and small study where we had tea coffee and cans of pop in the fridge accompanied by chocolate, this wax a vey nice touch. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. The morning after we had a lovely breakfast with locally sourced items which were delicious. We would definitely stay here again should we go back to Robin hoods bay ..

Fernleigh is just lovely -- clean, completely renovated with beautiful interior design, delicious breakfast, and charming hosts. The room was spacious and with a spectacular view of the bay over the rooftops. We loved Robin Hood's Bay and high recommend the area and Fernleigh.

The hosts Chris & Jane were excellent and couldn’t do enough for their guests, the property was in a quiet residential neighbourhood but close to all amenities. The beds were top quality and the breakfasts exceptional. Would definitely stay here again!

What an amazing place, from the warm welcome , and homemade brownies!! warm bedroom ,lovely crisp white bedding, comfortable bed and excellent pillows. we loved the tasty breakfast, and the sweet antique crockery it was served on . Very quiet location, we also had a sea view, and just a short walk to the bay.

Lovely stay as a couple to celebrate my 63rd birthday. Made to feel very welcome, very knowledgeable & yummy homemade brownies on arrival & tasty breakfast each morning. Parking outside property and walking distance into village, pubs, cafes etc. We will return.

My wife and I had a lovely stay at Fernleigh. Jane and Chris were lovely hosts. We will definitely stay at this accommodation again. The room was lovely with a sea view. Great location for exploring Robin Hoods Bay and surrounding areas

The hosts Chris & Jane were excellent and couldn’t do enough for their guests, the property was in a quiet residential neighbourhood but close to all amenities. The beds were top quality and the breakfasts exceptional. Would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely lovely break. Chris and Jane were perfect hosts and have a wonderful house ensuring a calm and comfortable stay. Breakfast and the room was excellent with so many little extras. Cant recommend enough.

Chris and Jane were amazing hosts! Very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Their beautiful guesthouse is one of the nicest placest we've ever stayed. Our room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and included everything that we needed. The breakfast was delicious! Freshly cooked to order, using very high quality produce....just exquisite. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend Fernleigh B&B to everyone! Would definitely book again in a heartbeat. Perfect stay......5 star review!
