A really lovely place to stay even in the depths of winter! Quiet location with a pub a few minutes walk away. Great place to bring your dog. The individual themed rooms with en suites have been really well thought out. Our room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and modern shower room. We had a super delicious breakfast. There was loads of choice. Our host was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

This place offers a really nice welcome and comfortable lodgings. It made a welcome change from a lot of the places I stay with work. The room was really comfortable and very clean. It was easy to check-in and park too. The location is ideal with a few minutes' drive to Trowbridge or Bradford on Avon in either direction. There are plenty of places to choose from in terms of meals in the area. I would definitely consider staying again when in the area. Only things to note, that are purely subjective: 1) The noise from the road in the morning is quite obvious. It might bother some and not others. It isn't really loud but enough to be aware of. 2) Not a huge choice for breakfast but what there is great and the owners are super accommodating.

Parking was on the accommodation site not on the street. Created by the owner was made very welcome and breakfast was excellent. This was my second stay at this hotel and would recommend it for short or long term visits

Everything was spotlessly clean and they had been so thoughtful about all the little extras that make staying away from home comfortable - access to a kitchen with plates, cutlery, fridge and microwave etc that allows you the freedom to eat in your own room rather than having the expense of eating out each night.

Great B&B in a lovely part of the UK.Host and staff super helpful and friendly,very welcoming.Great outdoor area for 10 yr old son and dog to play. Breakfast was extremely good,everything you wanted was there or was made for you.Loved breakfast room,so many little details. Room super cosy bedroom with enough space for 3 of us,plus dog and luggage. You could tell the hosts love what they do and want you to feel welcomed and at home. Definitely trying to come back. Thx for everthing.

I would highly recommend Widbrook Barns, especially for family stays. The barns are extremely ambient and peaceful, comfortable, and well appointed. No thought has been spared - a fridge and microwave is available in a clean communal area of the property, as are wine glasses, crockery, cutlery and more. We were met on arrival by the Boss - an extremely friendly gentleman who showed us around the property and offered recommendations for eating out and walks nearby. After a comfy night's sleep we enjoyed breakfast - all the usual cooked breakfast items plus traditional fish breakfast, all cooked fresh to order. It was my son's 10th birthday on this morning, and the Boss decorated around the table and even played his own rendition of Happy Birthday on his trumpet!! A birthday and venue to remember, no question! Thank you for a fantastic stay, albeit a short one - we WILL be back and would recommend this property to everyone. Location is perfect for Longleat (our destination), Bath, Bath Races, Bradford-on-Avon, and more. Enjoy!

Everything about the place was amazing. We stayed in the lion room and we couldn’t believe how big the bathroom was, the photos do not show how much room there is. The little additions in the room like the cookies on the tea station and bottle opener were great, there wasn’t anything else we needed. The breakfast was 10/10, so much choice for eating and drinking. The grounds were stunning, very easy parking and plenty of room. Check in was very straight forward, being talked through the area/grounds was great (extra marks for being greeted by the dog) We will be coming back as soon as possible!

This is the second time we have stayed at Widbrook Barns and will definitely be back. Dick and the team are the perfect hosts and you are always welcomed with boundless enthusiasm. We stayed in the Secret Seven room, it was a very pleasant stay. Bed is extremely comfortable and all amenities are in great condition. The staff are all friendly, there are lots of options at breakfast and all tasty. Would recommend to anyone.

From the minute we entered the property it was like being in a beautiful new world. The grounds were lovely & our room was so comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious!! Dick the owner couldn’t have been more accommodating.

Great stay minutes from Bradford on Avon and easy access to Bath. We took train in as recommended by Dick, the owner, and it was a great way to access Bath. The hop on hop off bus stops very close by the station. Overall the accomodation is wonderful, very large room(Secret Seven) with all the amenities, Dick is a fantastic and personable host. The outlook from your room is the garden square, very private and lots of wildlife, breakfast is excellent with many options and all cooked up by Dick. I am not sure that man sleeps but I highflying recommend the accomodation, it gives you the rural feel with extremely close access to a village. I am a dog lover, and like a lot of places over in the UK, they welcome dogs which I think is a fantastic way to operate. Thanks for our stay.

Set in beautiful natural grounds but noise from busy main road was obvious. Rooms are clean and nicely furnished, I did feel a little insecure when the window was open to allow air flow it was easy ro reach through and open the door even with the chain was on. Very small fridge in room which kept cutting out. Owners lovely and friendly and breakfast good.

Gardens pretty. Love all the Dick and Jane and other eclectic memorabilia. Bringing back childhood memories. Loved out stay and will definitely be back, already planning when. We loved every bit of our short stay, a very brief stopover for a uni open day, so we need to come back one day. A warm welcome by Dick and a delicious breakfast in the very lovely retro barn. Highly recommend.

This is the second time we have stayed at Widbrook Barns and will definitely be back. Dick and the team are the perfect hosts and you are always welcomed with boundless enthusiasm. The rooms are immaculately presented, and the breakfast is to die for. We Would definitely recommend a stay if you are in the area.

Our stay was idyllic. The check in and checkout process was faultless. The hosts offered the perfect balance of privacy, attentiveness and professionalism whilst offering a home from home feeling. I cannot recommend this B&B enough.

Dick was extremely welcoming and friendly coming out to meet me on arrival and carrying my bag. My accommodation was clean, comfortable and set in beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was plentiful with excellent service. Would love to come back with my family.

A really lovely place to stay even in the depths of winter! Quiet location with a pub a few minutes walk away. Great place to bring your dog. The individual themed rooms with en suites have been really well thought out. Our room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and modern shower room. We had a super delicious breakfast. There was loads of choice. Our host was lovely, friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

Breakfast had a large menu included ranging from full English, smoked fish and plenty of other options. We really like we could walk into town 30 minutes as we walk slow. The path runs along the river and longboats. We took the train into Bath to avoid having to drive and park. That was a big reason why we chose Widbrook.

Great stay minutes from Bradford on Avon and easy access to Bath. We took train in as recommended by Dick, the owner, and it was a great way to access Bath. The hop on hop off bus stops very close by the station. Overall the accomodation is wonderful, very large room(Secret Seven) with all the amenities, Dick is a fantastic and personable host. The outlook from your room is the garden square, very private and lots of wildlife, breakfast is excellent with many options and all cooked up by Dick. I am not sure that man sleeps but I highflying recommend the accomodation, it gives you the rural feel with extremely close access to a village. I am a dog lover, and like a lot of places over in the UK, they welcome dogs which I think is a fantastic way to operate. Thanks for our stay.

My daughter and I had a fantastic stay at Widbrook Barns, and we couldn't rate it any higher. The breakfasts in particular were a highlight! It was very convenient for getting the train to Bath as well as our trip to Longleat. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in the Secret Seven room, it was a very pleasant stay. Bed is extremely comfortable and all amenities are in great condition. The staff are all friendly, there are lots of options at breakfast and all tasty. Would recommend to anyone.

Dick, the owner met us on arrival and made us feel welcome straight away. The room we had was spotless and with the additional seating area it was perfect for us and our dog. Breakfast was freshly cooked as we ordered and the service was excellent, they even gave the dogs a sausage for their breakfast. We would definitely return.

Just amazing, this was our 2nd visit because we enjoyed it so much last time. We love Widbrook Barns, everything about it. Everything about the place was amazing. We stayed in the lion room and we couldn’t believe how big the bathroom was, the photos do not show how much room there is. The little additions in the room like the cookies on the tea station and bottle opener were great, there wasn’t anything else we needed. The breakfast was 10/10, so much choice for eating and drinking. The grounds were stunning, very easy parking and plenty of room. Check in was very straight forward, being talked through the area/grounds was great (extra marks for being greeted by the dog) We will be coming back as soon as possible!

This is basically a cute garden with well appointed rooms overlooking it and very comfy beds. Was here in summer and the retracting skylight and fan cooled things off perfectly. Dick is a delight to chat and breakfast seems his specialty! Clearly so much love and care goes into this property.
