Hyatt Place Glendale/Los Angeles

I like the pool and the gym. The property was clean but the room services were not always on time and was occasionally late.

Hotel was nice, staff excellent the parking situation not so good. Delays and navigation of web site annoying.

My husband and I stayed there, June of 2025. It's a nice hotel but we felt like the valet parking was difficult. There is only one way to go in. The Driveway is so narrow, you have to wait for the person in front of you to load their luggages and all their belongings before you can drive away.

The only downside was parking. The hotel only offers valet for $40/24hrs and self park was $38. Street parking was free until 8am. The was not convenient.

Pros : early check-in, easy process. Staff is all very friendly and courteous. Pool is nice but small. It was a good stay, complimentary breakfast with our reservation, great if you have kids to save you the hassle of morning rush. Internet was free and fast enough. The tv quality could be improved, we still found things to watch on our downtime. Water pressure for shower was good and housekeeping came to refresh linens and towels, also took out our trash while we were out. Black out curtains for rooms and very low hallway noise. Cons were: the ac couldn’t seem to get to the temperature we wanted. The walls are a little thin we’re located right above the pool and we could hear anyone using it. They could dim the lights a bit at night as the bright lights flood into the rooms around it. I think we were above the house keeping area as well, we could hear rushing water every few minutes at night. Valet is expensive and there is no self parking.

During our stay 2 of the 3 elevator was down therefore resulting everyone waiting on one elevator and there’s 10 floors which took some 20-30 minute wait.

The staff were great. Polite and helpful. The pool area was clean. The hotel overall was quiet. They offer breakfast at a price and 24/7 room service. Onsite laundry ($2 wash $2 dryer) There were several stores and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel does not have parking. $48 Valet option. I did find parking at the Orange St Parking Structure for $12 a day, there are several other parking options in the area ranging from $15-$54 from what I saw.

The hotel is nice, walkable to everything.However parking is terrible, expensive and apparently resourced to a different company using a useless app and very inconvenient .

Bathrooms were dirty. Pee pubes I si de toilet and seat. Complained and they moved me rooms. Second room also had hair on toilet seat, they didn’t have another room so they cleaned it. But makes me think that they didn’t clean either room

The staff was great. The bathrooms had hair on the floors and in the bathtub. It made the rest of the room feel dirty.

Dirty rooms. Stains on the bed sheets, covers, couches, carpets, and walls. -Food from previous tenants was embedded in the carpet. -Several items in the room were broken or cracked by previous tenant -Hair was found in between the sheets (gross). -Shower doors failed to close completely resulting in wet floors. We realized the very heavy glass door wasn't even on its track. We resolved this issue ourselves out of fear of being assigned an even dirtier room... -Paid for a king-size bed, got a queen. -The hotel supplied a pack & play for our newborn and itwas broken. The replacement had to be thoroughly cleaned of stains by us before it could be used. -Parking: The only option for secured overnight parking was the $30 (before tip) valet parking garage across the street. NOTE: The $30 (before tip) surcharge is applicable only once within a 24hr period and only if the vehicle is requested. The vehicle pick up & drop-off area is located at the hotel entrance of the hotel & is one car lane. Coincidentally this is where you load/unload your vehicle. This drive-through method caused traffic jams. -We were charged $30 for our vehicle upon check out. To date, this issue has yet to be resolved, as we're still waiting on a refund even though a supervisor has been contacted on two separate occasions now. -Unwelcome staff: requested no room service & got it anyway but room still left dirty. Next day we hung Do not disturb sign & they entered anyway. No safe to secure valuables.

Overall clean but when we pulled out sofa sleeper there were crumbs in it.

Our room was comfortable and very clean, staff cleaned the hallways and rooms every day (if requested) and were courteous and personable. They remembered our names and were very friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was really wonderful, great outdoor and indoor seating, a cute little bar, and lots of things to do nearby on our down days.

Likes: Very close to shopping/restaurants and family. Dislikes: carpets stained had a musty smell, bathroom tub was stained. Coffee cups provided for coffee were dirty. Outside of the above we had a good stay overall.

My room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Room was exactly as pictured.

I loved that the rooms were so big. I had 2 queen beds and there was still room for another bed. We didn't feel caged in. Very nice and clean. Easy check in and check out. Safe area.

Nice, clean rooms, very polite staff. I just hope that the wifi is better, especially with a kid who plays roblox but over all i like the hotel

My first time staying in Glendale and the Hyatt Place. Loved the location and the hotel. Room had a great view of the mountains and staff was extremely friendly.

Pros- • Nice big room for the 6 of us. • Refrigerator in room Cons- • Ice machine only on certain floors. • Bed was very uncomfortable and pillows were small and flat. Only 3 pillows for a queen size bed. • No microwave in room It was an okay stay for one night but will not stay again.

The location was great for what we needed, but the property itself is a bit dated. The biggest things (small but annoying) was lack of outlets on both sides of the bed (only on one), the pullout couch didn’t have sheets or blankets in the room, and the parking was really annoying at busy times.

The free breakfast was decent. The shower water was scalding and the handle was broken so, my kids got burned. We had a room with 2 queen beds and a pullout couch bed for 6 of us. The pullout bed was unbearable. You could feel the springs of the mattress and there was a huge dip in the center. We also didn’t get any bedding for it.

My room was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable. Room was exactly as pictured.

Wonderful staff and service.

The staff was extremely friendly and always did right for the customer. They were very attentive.

There was no parking onsite ☹️. Desk clerks were not very attentive.

Staff and property… awesome! Second time staying here. Everyone from parking, front desk to housekeeping were friendly and helpful… made my day to be around happy people :)

We had a great stay! The staff was very nice and friendly.

In general very good. Clean rooms, very functional in general. The front desk didn’t answer their phone that made it difficult to ask for additional towels or any questions we had about service.

Valet was great! Check in and out was super easy and team is always accommodating and friendly!

The front desk lady (so rude) said I didn’t pay, even though having the receipt from hotels.com showing I paid in full. The front desk (guy) said I had to call Hotels.com to straighten it out, but no one would check me in. The guy made me step aside while he checked another person in. I believe the time frame was nearly an hour of back and forth with the front desk before he magically was able to charge the Expedia card on file. Besides that, the front desk was never welcoming, and the valet parking is ridiculous. Can take up to 20 min from when you request your car and it was almost $150 for 3 nights, and they clearly expect you to tip each time.

The exceptional customer service made up for two separate room issues! Jun on the staff was a breath of fresh air and probably provided the best customer service I have experienced in years! The front desk staff and valet staff were also very good. The bad was we were sent to an already occupied room on day one and then moved to a different room on day 2. The room move wasn’t the problem though because we understood there was a random leak, the problem was the lady at the front desk promised a room upgrade and a free meal for the inconvenience but we didn’t receive either. We got a $40 credit for a meal that cost $100 for our family and no room upgrade. I would still give a 5-star review though because the rest of the staff was a bright spot in a tough vacation experience.

Great Location, Greatfood and Bars in Waliking Distance. Open Late too, including the Barber shop. The Negative is the Lack of Parking. So prepare for Valet fees. Coming back soon

Hyatt Place Glendale was excellent. Hot breakfast, walkable to Target, a mall, and Starbucks. Convenience for Universal Hollywood and seeing some Disney offices.

Hotel breakfast options are subpar. Hotel itself is wonderful.

The breakfast has basically the same out of the bag stuff every morning. I stayed 5 days and was quickly bored.

Food was bland, typical. Bedding smelled mildew

The hotel was very clean. We never had to wait for an elevator. The staff from front desk to valets were friendly and welcoming. Our room was a king bed with a sofa bed. It was spacious with 3 adults. Even though our room was above the pool, at 10:00pm sharp it was closed. They have their own kitchen so the breakfast was always fresh. They served waffles so there was no disgusting waffle machine like at most free breakfasts. We ate on dishes and silverware. I would definitely stay here again. There was valet parking at a reasonable price.

Great breakfast and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Walk to wonderful Americana Shopping Center and get an ATM cupcake!

Was a pretty good stay staff was friendly and helpful. Great view of the mountains. My only complaint would be the food from the bar/restaurant was not worth the price. My suggestion would be go someplace else to eat. Everything else was great!
