A good room, although it was a little difficult to access kitchen equipment on high shelves. Excellent location - handy to the station and the riverbank area. An easy walk into town. The wifi connection was fine, but it hardly ever had an internet connection, and then only for a few minutes. This made internet use impossible. It was disappointing that the person at reception would not believe me. I ended up buying a local sim card - don't plan on getting anything done online via the hotel's internet.

Great hotel. Our suite had a fridge ( with small freezer) , stove and dishes, Queen- sized bed and cleaning only every 3 days. The breakfast was basic but good: pancakes, fruit, cereal, eggs, bacon, cheeses, etc. There was a machine to make your own orange juice if desired. It is bout a 12 minute walk from the train station and 30 minute walk to the Old Town.. Would stay again if ever in Bourdeaux.

Friendly welcome from the guy on reception and little canelle to eat. Cold water fountain in reception area too - it was Canicule wether so much appreciated. I liked the provision of a glass bottle in the room to fill as needed rather than a plastic bottle of water. Good aircon in the bedroom, nice kitchenette with hob, fridge, microwave, toaster etc. As said it was very hot and we requested a top sheet (drap) instead of using the duvet, no problems. Breakfast was plentiful with eggs, bacon, cold meats, cheese and little croissants etc. (although i'm not a fan of these and prefer a pur beurre, full-size one. We love visiting Bordeaux and can travel there by train. We will definitely stay at this hotel again. Thinking of the lovely staff at this very worrying time (the fires heading their way) keep safe all of you.
