Was exactly what you would expect it to be for a pub based hotel ... room was small but adequate for what I needed. Shower and toilet was sperate and shared, annoying but fine for the price. It felt clean and safe. Generally speaking it was pretty good value.

The room was clean, but my god, if you’re looking to sleep at any point in time, you’ll hear loud music until the wee hours of the night and then again in the morning. When the water is used, you’ll hear the water go through the pipes. I didn’t sleep barely a wink here and it set back my whole travel schedule. I thought maybe there would be quiet hours after 9 or 10pm, but the music was still going at 3am which was maddening. I’m pretty sure it was from the restaurant downstairs, and earplugs definitely would’ve helped. Aside from the easy parking, I can’t say that I’d stay here again. Most of the time when you stay at a hotel overnight, sleep is an important factor of that. If that’s what you’re looking to get, this place isn’t it.

Nice place to spend a night, shared bathrooms are cleaned and staff is friendly. We stayed during the week for only one night so we didn't have any issues with the noise from the pub downstairs :) it was actually a quiet night :)

Service was great from the team but the amenities not so much. It was hard to get past the smell from the hallway and there was a slight smell in the room. I believe it was a little overpriced for what was provided, especially when one of the white towels had a giant yellow stain on it. Even though the room wasn't up to scratch the service I received from the team more than made up for it

Nothing unique. Terrible ataff,outrageous demands,shocking rooms,2nd story window opens so wide one could fall to their death,power point right next to electric jug easy to get electrocution from,showers ,no room for garments or phone. No power points next to bed to charge phone. Noisy music keep one awake at night. Never stay again,better sleep in your car.

We needed a place to stopover for one night and this was perfect. Super value for money, it was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in! The room was lovely and we ate in the restaurant which was great with lots of choices. Would definitely recommend!

We booked Nags Hotel as we needed somewhere close to the Racecourse. It is a nice quiet hotel. The room was small but for the price was great for 1 night. When we came down for dinner the restaurant and pub was packed out. We went out to see what was close by but they were all takeaway places. We eventually found a small table back at the Pub. The food was lovely but a long wait time. The staff are all happy and helpful. Showers and toilets are shared. There are steep stairs up to the Hotel Rooms.
