La estancia fue muy amena. El hotel se disfruta mas para estar solo para dormir. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero lo que falta es un mini refrigerador para guardar bebidas. Además de un lugar para tender la ropa. Esta muy bien ubicada la propiedad, facilidad de acceso y cerca de muchos puntos de interés. Hay un restaurante pero no estaba en funcionamiento. La piscina o alberca esta muy bien, le falta un poco de mantenimiento pero la disfrutamos a lo grande.

El hotel está muy bien ubicado a unos pocos metros del mercado de Zicatela. La fachada se ve muy bien. La playa está más lejos de lo que se comenta, hay que cruzar la avenida (no hay semáforo), y caminar por calles empedradas para llegar. No es muy accesible para niños o adultos mayores. A la entrada hay una subida muy empinada y puede ser un poco peligrosa y resbalosa cuando llueve. (no es muy accesible para adultos mayores) La alberca es más pequeña de lo que parece en las fotografías, pero tiene muy buena vista hacia la playa y las botanas y bebidas del bar, están bien. La primera tarde la alberca estaba llena y permiten tener alimentos adentro, esto da una apariencia de que está sucia. El restaurante esta fuera de servicio, y dicen que hasta nuevo aviso. El spa es muy pequeñito y está junto a la lavandería, tomé un masaje que me pareció un poco caro para lo que fue y al final llegaba aroma de la lavandería como drenaje. El personal es amable en general, pero a la persona que esta en recepción le falta mucha capacitación de atención a cliente. Al momento de cobrarme hubo una confusión y me decía montos diferentes a los que tenía en mi reservación. Cuando ya estaba "lista" mi habitación no era la que yo reservé. Y se tardaron aún más en limpiar la que si reservé. Supuestamente el horario de check in era a las 3 y yo pude estar en mi habitación a las 5. Aunque está muy céntrico, tiene muchas oportunidades. No regresaría pronto.

Hotel limpio y buenas camas, pero los tres días que estuvimos no funcionó el elevador. La alberca está hasta el último piso creo es el 4o. O 5o. Y nos hospedaron en el 3er piso. Si llevan maletas pesadas piénsenlo Para ir por que está pesado subir. Llegamos y tampoco hubo mucha gente colocación sobre si podíamos acceder a los servicios en lo que estaba lista la habitación.

Me hospedé en el cuarto con vista al mar y me tocó el de hasta arriba, este tenía la alberca encima y de 9am a 9pm sonaba la bomba de la alberca. Si planeas estar la mayoría del tiempo en el cuarto de hotel puede representar un problema, si estarás fuera en estas horas no hay de qué preocuparse. Si quieres tener una experiencia única lidiando con staff grosero, dormir escuchando la carretera en lugar del mal y tener cargos extras firmando sus restricciones, hospédate en en este hotel. 🙂↕️ Agendamos una habitación como la primera foto y al llegar nos colocaron en una habitación con vista a las escaleras, sin luz, la tele más pequeña que vas a ver en tu vida, un AC que no se siente. Al notificar a la recepcionista, no sabía qué hacer, lucia de mal humor, ni si quiera un hola. Al final su manera de arreglarlo fue queriendo hacer un cargo extra, y echando la culpa a expedía, hasta que insistí nos la enseñó y ¡oh sorpresa! Nos enseñó otra habitación, argumentando que la habitación que quería estaba ocupada, lo cual pudimos confirmar el día siguiente que era mentira ya que saliendo vimos a al staff de limpieza con ese cuarto vacío. ☀️La ubicación: es por Zicatela, pero en la parte de la carretera, la cual se escucha mucho el ruido de la calle. ☀️Instalaciones: nuestro cuarto como mencioné, no se parecía a las fotos, y cuando quisimos tomar una ducha se fue el agua en todo el hotel, tuvimos que irnos por esta razón. 🚫Cargos extras: Nos dieron un tour por el lugar y en las fotos en su página web salía una área de SPA, nunca nos mencionaron que era costo extra. al llegar ahí no había nadie, sólo vimos a un policía que me saludó. Al entrar al jacuzzi la recepcionista nos siguió y nos cobró 1000 pesos por 30 minutos.

El baño muy sucio y no hacían la limpieza y la que hizo el aseo dejo un chicle masticado pegado en un mueble,y las tazas del escusado con fugas y malos olores,estuve ahí hace 4 meses y estaba muy bien pero está vez fue una decepción absoluta no volveré a ir a ese lugar.

Muy mala higiene en el hotel, sobretodo en el área de alberca era más visible y la habitación “Manzanillo” que tenía un olor a caño/coladera y no nos quisieron/pudieron cambiar de habitación. La atención del barman y calidad de bebidas muy buena.

Lamentablemente las instalaciones no funcionaba el elevador, tampoco su restaurante. Lo peor fue que las toallas siempre olian a humedad y es algo que si deben de verificar. Por otro lado los chicos del front desk no estan capacitados para resolver problemas puesto que al incio me querian hacer cargo adicional sin antes verificarlo. El balcon es para que se observara la playa pero este da a la calle y sobre carretera y existe ruido al interior. El agua de la alberca es turbia ya que al parecer no se limpia diario.

El wifi en la habitación era malo. Tenían starlink pero solo funcionaba en lobby o planta baja. Al estar frente a la carretera hay un ruido constante de autos y camiones, no es el lugar indicado si tu plan es descansar. La relación precio-calidad en muy mala.

When I went searching for a hotel in Puerto it was important to me to find a hotel with an on-site restaurant, and easy access to the beach front ("easy access" does not have to mean on the beach.) The listing for this hotel clearly stated that there was a restaurant on site, and showed a number of photos of a small but nice looking restaurant. It also says that the hotel is a 6 minute walk to the beach. Bottom line...NO operating restaurant on site, and the 6 minute walk to the beach includes having to dodge 4 lanes of traffic with NO crosswalks (after that the trip to the beach gets no easier, and ends at the far end of the beach with nothing but sand dunes.... Also, the sliding glass patio door to my balcony had cracks running from top to bottom and fully from one edge to the other. I don\'t care what country you\'re in, this is dangerous. When I talked to the hotel mgr I was told there had been a restaurant, but no more and after a conversation with her and Expedia there was agreement all around that I deserved a refund. I checked out after just one night, and have yet to receive any of the agreed upon refund. I want to note that I\'ve been travelin in Mexico for 20 years, and you always have to expect a surprise along the way, but this was nothing more then purposeful deception, no traveler deserves that... Note that the hotel has now updated it\'s listing on Expedia, but beware of other potential surprises....

Front desk staff was great. Unfortunately the switch for one of the beside reading lamps was broken, so the light could not turned off!! I arrived late to the hotel, around midnight because of flight delays. I didn’t notice the switch on the light was broken until I was ready for bed around 1:30am. By then I was in my pjs and very tired and took the decision to not go to the front desk to complain- I didn’t even know if there was another room they could move me too. I put a t shirt over the light and went to sleep. The next day I asked if they could do a late check out - 1 hour- and they asked for 100 pesos. Usually this would have been no problem but I didn’t feel like it was fair since they knowingly rent out a room with a broken light (no way they didn’t know, looks like it has been broken for awhile). Total turn off. Manager said since I didn’t come and let the front desk know at 1:30am there was nothing they can do. Please fix your rooms. Absolutely ridiculous situation.

Read the reviews ! I gave it chance… yes they have you sign a waiver for almost anything and want to charge you for everything as well. The receptionist gave me a walk-through through my room, letting me know that the TV does not work and the fan has a slight delay. The next day I left my room and I came back and my key didn’t work and she continued to blame me because it was something magnetic that made it not work. The second night I took a shower and the water came out out of the shower and spilled all over the restroom, looking like a flood towards the exit then her telling me it was because the shower head was not placed correctly, but that wasn’t my fault. Another thing is if you get a junior suite it’s facing towards the highway and it’s very loud at night, mind you the AC was having issues turning off in the middle of the night. Also the glass on the roof top was not was it looks like, it’s not maintenance well. Overall, it is a cute hotel staff at the pool are nice and attentive.

Me hospedé en el cuarto con vista al mar y me tocó el de hasta arriba, este tenía la alberca encima y de 9am a 9pm sonaba la bomba de la alberca. Si planeas estar la mayoría del tiempo en el cuarto de hotel puede representar un problema, si estarás fuera en estas horas no hay de qué preocuparse. Staying here was an absolute nightmare, starting from check-in to the process and now to the process of refund from Expedia. There was no concierge at time of check-in, I had to wait 15 minutes of which I was just trying to drop my bags off to make a dinner/salsa class with friends. When given a room key I had no door handle and the room key didn't work. Then the concierge told me I'd have to get them every time to access my room (not acceptable) I went out for the evening then returned. There was no hot water(the purpose of me booking a hotel in Mexico) then there was also no internet access in my room - the staff had to give me backend access to their private network which I could only access in their lobby. I then shower and go to use the most disgusting hotel towel I've ever seen. At this time it's around 2am that I fall asleep to be awoken at 6am from some of the worst road noise I've ever heard. I vacated the hotel by 7am informing them I'd be requesting a refund through expedia. Now that process has also been a disaster. Expedia hasn't been able to reach the hotel for days, then upon doing so the hotel hung up on them. Expedia is informing me they can't issue any refund unless from the hotel. How this property is listed on Expedia is mind boggling. I have photos and videos of all I experienced and both the hotel and Expedia couldn't care less. Do not book this hotel if no matter the price.

This hotel don't have to be in the catalog of Experian....this is on of the worst hotel I ever stayed....is only wifi on the lobby where the reception is....they make you sing to many rules for staying there...we are getting away and we get to the same road... rules rules and more rules,they are on a wrong business is like you staying on a government building....we have to paid $550 for a blanket we drop a Popsicle and they charge us....I wasted my points on a crappy hotel

I've been a guest at Hotel DC Boutique y Spa Since 2019! Miguel at recepción y Raúl in the SKY Bar were Very attentive, positive y Helpful. I came January 10th por la mañana y Miguel helped me with signing in y I would go to meetings in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca México and retiran After 3 pm to Actually enter My room. I Left My bag with Miguel. When I returned around 5 pm Itmal was at the check-in desk, Said he DIDN'T see the bag I Left with Miguel y Wasn't too interested in looking for It. He had The Same demeanor when I asked for a pool towel. I also asked to have a small container of ice sent to My room, as the hotel cómplied with in Each of My previous stays There. Itmal said I Could go up to the Rooftop bar to get ice. Not very Helpful. I returned to My room The Next Afternoon, Saturday The 11th , to find that it had NOT Been cleaned. It has ALWAYS been cleaned Daily in my 6 años visiting the hotel. Itmal told me they don't Clean Daily y I'd have to request that ahead of time. I asked Miguel the next morning if that TRUE what Itmal said about My Having to ask for It to be cleaned y he Said NO, NOT TRUE! Nor Did Itmal send Someone to Clean the room after I complained That No One cleaned it after The First night. VERY UNPROFESIONAL on Itmal's part y I found him to be useless, gross y Arrogant! Enjoyed our stay. Diego was very welcoming and accommodating. We had an issue with the toilet leaking upon arrival so they moved us into another room. Overall, we were happy with our stay. Great view from terrace- with pool very nice.

When I went searching for a hotel in Puerto it was important to me to find a hotel with an on-site restaurant, and easy access to the beach front ("easy access" does not have to mean on the beach.) The listing for this hotel clearly stated that there was a restaurant on site, and showed a number of photos of a small but nice looking restaurant. It also says that the hotel is a 6 minute walk to the beach. Bottom line...NO operating restaurant on site, and the 6 minute walk to the beach includes having to dodge 4 lanes of traffic with NO crosswalks (after that the trip to the beach gets no easier, and ends at the far end of the beach with nothing but sand dunes.... Also, the sliding glass patio door to my balcony had cracks running from top to bottom and fully from one edge to the other. I don\'t care what country you\'re in, this is dangerous. When I talked to the hotel mgr I was told there had been a restaurant, but no more and after a conversation with her and Expedia there was agreement all around that I deserved a refund. I checked out after just one night, and have yet to receive any of the agreed upon refund. I want to note that I\'ve been travelin in Mexico for 20 years, and you always have to expect a surprise along the way, but this was nothing more then purposeful deception, no traveler deserves that... Note that the hotel has now updated it\'s listing on Expedia, but beware of other potential surprises....

The room smell pretty bad coming from the bathroom sewer. The location is not good at all, it is in the middle of Puerto Escondidos "highway", so you can\'t really walk anywhere. Don not recommend, I think price/quality ratio is ABSURD.

Ein gutes Hotel für 2,3 Nächte! Das Hotel ist sauber und gepflegt. Wie bereits andere Besucher erwähnten ist das Hotel direkt an der Hauptstrasse und deshalb ist es etwas laut. Ich konnte trotzdem gut schlafen, da die Betten super Bequem waren. Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Massagen sind sehr angenehm. Schöner Pool auf dem Dach.

I think there was no problem with location or cleaning. There was also aircondition in the room. The problem was this spa hotel and infinity pool you see in the pictures is really small. I could not get in as there was a family of 4 people they were in all day long so there was no space for me left. Also they try to make you sign a paper which included the statement as “the hotel is not responsible for your lost goods in the room” which was strange so i did not sign it. Otherwise it was fine, and hotel is close to beach but not next to it. You should walk like 10 minutes to access. The beach of zicatela is nice but for surfers only not for swimming!

La estancia fue muy amena. El hotel se disfruta mas para estar solo para dormir. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero lo que falta es un mini refrigerador para guardar bebidas. Además de un lugar para tender la ropa. Esta muy bien ubicada la propiedad, facilidad de acceso y cerca de muchos puntos de interés. Hay un restaurante pero no estaba en funcionamiento. La piscina o alberca esta muy bien, le falta un poco de mantenimiento pero la disfrutamos a lo grande.
La estancia fue muy amena. El hotel se disfruta mas para estar solo para dormir. Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero lo que falta es un mini refrigerador para guardar bebidas. Además de un lugar para tender la ropa. Esta muy bien ubicada la propiedad, facilidad de acceso y cerca de muchos puntos de interés. Hay un restaurante pero no estaba en funcionamiento. La piscina o alberca esta muy bien, le falta un poco de mantenimiento pero la disfrutamos a lo grande.

Es muy bonito el hotel y la zona es tranquila, únicamente tuvimos un inconveniente el primer día porque el lavabo estaba tapado y lo reportamos varias veces y hasta el siguiente día fueron a atenderlo. Estaría bien si hubiera un restaurante o si en la alberca también vendieran comida en lugar de solo bebidas. El personal es muy amable.

El hotel particularmente está bonito, sin embargo cada rato se nos iba el agua en la habitación, también deberían incrementar o mejorar su bar, esta muy simple y preguntamos por algunas bebidas que no tenían.

Me encantaron las instalaciones, el área de piscina me enamoró, lo único que no nos gustó mucho fue que el bar no funcionara todos los días, de ahí en fuera todo excelente.

Me hospedé en el cuarto con vista al mar y me tocó el de hasta arriba, este tenía la alberca encima y de 9am a 9pm sonaba la bomba de la alberca. Si planeas estar la mayoría del tiempo en el cuarto de hotel puede representar un problema, si estarás fuera en estas horas no hay de qué preocuparse. Otro comentario es que el jacuzzi o spa cuesta extra y el restaurante no estaba funcionando. Todo lo demás estuvo muy bien, el servicio y la limpieza. En general es un buen hotel, limpio y agradable. El personal es muy atento aunque en un par ocasiones no había nadie en recepción y tuvimos que esperar un par de minutos a que alguien llegara. Aunque tienen restaurante no está en funcionamiento y su carta de bebidas en la alberca es bastante pequeña pero suficiente. La vista desde la alberca es muy buena.

It is not easily accesible to the beach. There is no restaurant although they advertise a restaurant. We were charged 50 pesos for ice to take to our room. It is right on the 200 highway. So super busy and dangerous and loud.

El lugar no es muy céntrico y su restaurante ha dejado de dar servicio. El personal en ciertos momentos parece indiferente con los huéspedes y la información. No es verdad que tengan tina en ciertas habitaciones como se menciona en Expedia. La piscina está bien cuando hay pocos huéspedes porque no es muy grande, aunque el atardecer se ve excelente desde la ubicación. El resto de amenidades de habitación son lo normal, nada que destacar.
