Mrs Banks is perfect accommodation for us when visiting our son and family who live nearby. We are return guests and hotel’s all round high standards and staff friendliness will mean we will be back to stay again when in Paddington. The only negative for out of town guests is that finding parking nearby can be difficult as there is no onsite parking at the hotel. is no onsite parking

Super helpful and friendly staff. Great area to stay in with direct bus to CBD and Circular Quay. Provide free nice pastry in the morning, and fruits, coffee & tea all days. Comfortable and quiet rooms. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot when going to The Horden Pavilion. Second time we have stayed to see a gig - this time Jungle. 2 hour parking on Oxford St ends at 6pm - clearway commences at 6am so had to swiftly move car in the morning to around the corner and then vacate by 9am as 1 hour parking from 8am. Time for cafe breakfast as hotel well located. Nice boutique hotel with groovy vibe.

Great location for our stay in Paddington. The rooms are not big but have everything you need and most importantly it's quiet and comfortable beds. The lobby is a nice space with coffee and tea all day, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Decent condition, some dust on the lamps. The toilet wasn't cleaned when the room was cleaned on the second day I was there and it would have been nice if the TimTams were replaced.

Was given a room that wasn’t cleaned from previous guest and then when I went to bed that night in the revised room, I could swear the sheets weren’t clean. At least it smelled in the bed. Today I have bite marks on my legs. Won’t be going back

The room was tidy, though there was a noticeable build up of dust on the lamps and tables. The check in experience was very difficult. I rang the doorbell with no response and only got inside when another guest was leaving. After that, I waited about twenty minutes before anyone appeared. There was no bell or instruction at the desk, and even after calling multiple times no one came. After checking out, I returned briefly after grabbing a coffee and had the same issue. I pressed the doorbell but was not let in, and ended up standing outside in the cold and rain for fifteen minutes while waiting for my ride. The staff member at the desk saw me, I waved, and he still didn’t let me in. For a hotel, being able to enter safely and freely is important, and the whole experience felt unwelcome and unsafe.

Great location. Room was nice and clean. Liked the glass bricks. Bath mat wouldn’t fit under shower door so it had to be placed further away. Water also leaked from shower onto bathroom floor. Otherwise, nice hotel.

Nice little place to stay. Clean and modern in a central location in Paddington. Staff were great. Rooms were good. Only issue was there were no windows. Only a glass brick section of the wall which made the room feel dark and small.

Fantastic location in Paddington. Walk to some of the best restaurants and boutique shopping. Public transport out the front. Room was very nice and bed very comfortable. Only negative was the street noise if you’re a light sleeper. Our King room was facing the street. Will definitely return next visit to Sydney.

Top rate hotel for convenience, comfort and ambience. Great location for shops supermarket restaurants hospital and bus travel. Staff and owner were fantastic could not have shown more care and hospitality. Highly recommend; we would definitely stay here when next in Sydney.

Excellent location in the Paddington area with lots of great cafes, restaurants and pubs in the area. If staying, ensure you take time to visit Centennial Park - the flying foxes at dusk are amazing to see and if you go during the day you will find hundreds hanging from the trees in a specific area. Good transport connections with a bus stop close the hotel. Staff were very helpful and always on hand for any queries. Room clean and perfect for our needs. No breakfast facilities at the hotel but free pastries, biscuits and coffee/tea available each morning in Reception which worked for us.

Mrs Banks Hotel is a great boutique hotel just outside Sydney CBD. Its Darlington location offers many places to eat within walking distance and there is fantastic public transport near by that will take you to Circular Quay or Bondi Beach within 15 minutes. We very much enjoyed our quant room with tea and danishes in the morning. The staff were very helpful and they made our stay very easy. I would stay there again.
