We loved the friendly hospitality. Mayanne couldn't do enough for us. She enjoyed hearing about our activities and had good local knowledge. Our bed was very comfortable, the bathroom (though small) had everything that we needed. The view from our room was wonderful. So relaxing. We really enjoyed sitting looking out whilst eating breakfast (including warm muffins or pastries each morning) watching the wildlife, from sparrows in the garden hedge to leaping dolphins in the inlet. It was great to have use of a small fridge and there was also a microwave oven, but we didn't use it. We had a kettle and tea/ coffee/biscuits provided in the room. Tip - have an evening meal in the Old Schoolhouse during your stay. Best to book.

Très bon séjour : très facile d’accès on peut laisser la voiture devant la maison. La chambre est très jolie avec une vue magnifique (on a même vu des phoques au réveil) et le petit déjeuner est excellent ! L’hôte est aussi très gentille.

Dans une vieille maison défraîchie, Chambre spacieuse avec superbe vue, avec table et chaises, canapé. Salle de bains minuscule. Lit mou mais confortable et grand. Hôte serviable et très à l’écoute, on a pu arrêter plus tôt dans la chambre. Petit déjeuner continental servi dans la chambre à 8h, des compléments (céréales, fruits, confiture, Nutella) sont disponibles dans le couloir. Parking privatif devant la maison. Restaurants à proximité mais réserver à l’avance !

Our stay here was amazing! Mayanne was a truly wonderful host who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and at home for the weekend. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the views out the window were beautiful.

Cannot say enough about our host Mayanne. Friendly, thoughtful and a wonderful host. The bathroom was clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the room overall was perfect. Mayanne delivered a lovely breakfast outside our door at 8am sharp. The small details Mayanne has thought of were extremely appreciative. We would highly recommend Minnies Rooms.

My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves! Very quiet and easy walking distance to many restaurants and cafes. The bathroom was like new and very clean. The bed was super comfy. Great first bed & breakfast experience!

padrona di casa molto accogliente. stanza non pulitissima, bagno piccolissimo. letto molto comodo. bellissima vista dalla camera (la n.2), colazione minima. Problema principale è che sono tre camere in un piccolo corridoio. Una di queste ha il bagno (tra l'altro molto spazioso e moderno...) fuori dalla camera e se chi la occupa fa avanti e indietro anche durante la notte aprendo e chiudendo le porte si dorme poco...

Room was clean and well kept, Mayann is lovely, friendly and attentive. We had a great stay on the Isle of Skye.

We booked a double room with seawiev and a King Size bed. Toilet and bath en suite (direct access from the room). On arrival we were presented for a double room with a toilet and bath at the other side of an aisle. Not satisfactory and not in accordance to our booking. The hostess told us, that all guests were made aware of the special toilet facilities when booking the room ……. we were a regrettable oversight. Well ….. fortunately there was a smaller room available with shower and toilet. It was smaller but we accepted it, since we need directly admittance to a toilet. The new room was without seawiev, which we also accepted. The room smelled stuffy and seemed infested with mold round the windowframes. The room was so small that we had to leave our luggage in the car and only bring the most necessary things. No space for suitcases in the room. No hooks to hang outerwear. Breakfast was served on a serving trolley outside the room. The landlady seemed in a bad mood, pointing at cereals with her back towards us. The bathroom is spacy with an openable window. In return there is only one place to put a wet bathtowel, which was a cold radiator. It was about 15 celcius and rainy, so nothing dried up. Folding table fell off the wall. The hostess brought us a new table. Breakfast was okay - nothing beyond the ordinary. One slice of toast and one croissant p.p. The hostess was very kind and helpfull but the experience did not meet our expectations and it did not meet description an

Walking up to that view was amazing. Seeing the ocean but smelling the freshness/salinity was wonderful. Also the smell of breakfast was very nice. The friendliness of the host and her lil dog was wonderful as well. I stayed here after going to Talisker/Fairy Pools - about 35-45 min drive. My only feedback is that the bed in my room was way too soft and the towels were a bit harsh. That being said, I would still recommend this spot because of the view, friendliness, comfort of the room, and proximity to everything on Skye.

A very wecoming and attentive host. Greets you on arrival and present throughout stay if you need anything. King size bed, very comfortable. Our room had a separate bathroom opposite the bedroom for our personal use. Dressing gown provided for dignity. Having tried this for two nights I would opt for ensuite next time. Can be a bit noisy with guests arriving and leaving early however a minor inconvenience overall. Fabulous view out of the bedroom window on to the Loch.

Minnie's room was very small but cute and clean. Walls are very thin so you hear everything around you.

La ubicación es perfecta con habitación con vista al mar, el cuarto es amplio, sin embargo el baño es MUY pequeño y requiere algo de mantenimiento. La atención fue muy buena y muy amable. En general todo está bien pero si requiere como atención a detalles, todo se siente viejo (especialmente el baño)

From Check-In to Check-out, Mayanne takes great care of you. You feel more like a visiting family member than a traveling guest. The bed was comfy. The bathroom was nice and new. She provides absolutely everything you need. And the breakfast was just enough to give you a pep in your step. Will definitely stay again.

We loved Minnie;s Room. ‘Me’Ann(?), the owner, was a wonderful hostess. We loved the breakfast cart she brought in the morning, with the food beautifully displayed. And the view from our room was beautiful,

The stay was great! Our room has the loveliest view of the water. We were able to watch the tide come in and out throughout our stay. Mayanne was helpful and kind. She recommended to book dinner ahead of time, which we did for The Old School (it was delicious). She also provided recommendations for our travel back to Edinburgh and we really enjoyed the tour she suggested.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Minnie’s Rooms in Dunvegan. Convenient location to see the castle and gardens and only a 30 min drive to Neist Point. We had a plentiful continental breakfast included as well which was nice. The croissants were the best I’ve ever had. Minnie was very kind and helpful with any questions we may of had. Highly recommend if you are wanting to see the Isle of Skye. Thank-you Minnie!

La propriétaire très accueillante, la vue sur la mer mais j aurais préféré la salle de bain dans la chambre comme la chambre voisine. Par contre elle nous a réservé au old school restaurant super endroit très bien mangé

Very nice place to stay, great view from the room's window (Loch Dunvegan, Macleod's tables)! Mayanne was a nice host, always ready to help and give advice for activities and dining options. We immediately fell in love with her small dog and the two cats. Dunvegan is a good location to explore the northwestern part of Skye, but it's just a 30 min drive to Portree, too. Would definitely recommend!

We had a sea view room and private bath and loved our room. Beautiful view. Lovely breakfast served on a rolling cart to our room. Wonderful to eat breakfast and have coffee in the room with the best view in Dunvegan. If you want to have a drink or dinner we recommend the Atoll, Old School House, or the bistro in the gas station right next to Minnie’s. Easy walking to those 3. Eat on the early side though as they stopped serving food around 8:30 PM when we were there. While on Skye and staying at Minnie’s we hiked Quiraing, Old Mann of Storr, Coral Beach, Neist Point Lighthouse. Good location on Skye to experience a lot of scenery. Beautiful! Would highly recommend staying at Minnie’s- great host and price.
