Stayed 2 nights

The staff we encountered, and another we asked for help with heating, were friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were plentiful, although no fruit or brown bread was offered. Toast was offered, but with no suitable crockery. Not enough plug sockets in the bedroom and what were on offer, were not all usable ! Heating was provided in the room - although with no instructions - which proved necessary. Bathroom facilities were good and clean. Parking was plentiful. It was odd that a decaf coffee option wasn't available with breakfast, but was available in our room ! Having asked for it on day 1, no effort had been made to ensure its availability on our 2nd day ! To sum up, with a few tweaks and forethought, what was fairly good value for money, could have been very good !

Room clean, staff great, we were made very welcome, and food great. Only niggle was on arrival our room was extremely cold as the central heating wasn't on. The duvet was also not the thickest! So our first night was a little cold. The electric heater provided was not really adequate took a long time to warm up the room!

Lovely room, warm comfy bed. Slight lack of clothes storage (some hanging space but no shelves/drawers). Expensive I know but some of the window frames need replacing. Friendly staff and great food - breakfast and dinner.

Lovely stay, laid back and friendly, room , breakfast both good, food in pub was also lovely so didn’t need to go out in the evenings, only small thing is the king size bed is actually 2 singles together with on sheet and duvet , so a ridge down the middle , bathroom was small but adequate
