Really lovely boutique room, spacious and clean with everything you’d need for an overnight stay. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. At breakfast there was a wide range of options. Their shower was a highlight. The Bar is a nice setting for a drink, with a wide range of beers on tap. Would thoroughly recommend for exploring the area both locally and more widely

We really like this place when we’ve visited previously. Never stayed before and we loved the decor as we were taken to the room. I have never stayed in a room so dusty. The beams are around 1/2mm deep in dust and when the sun shines in the room. You can see just how bad it is. Dusty in bathroom so whole room needs a deep clean. Service is slow and a little disappointing to have staff serving in shorts and a gym top. The place just wants a polish up. Hopefully these things all improve ahead of us next visiting.

Overall a pleasant stay. The room was spacious with everything necessary. Slight issue on check in ref cleanliness of the toilet but this was resolved straight away. Room was a bit noisy from traffic but died down after 10. Good host and nice breakfast.... decent curry house opposite

Fantastic room however I had very little sleep due to the very busy road and an old building with no double glazing. I’m sure that the building is listed so little chance of them being able to Fix that. Not helped by a gentle hum of a fridge and an air con unit outside the bathroom window which I tried to have open to keep some air in the room. No food offered on Mondays which is worth knowing in advance………..I didn’t A lot of the town not open for food on Monday night either Didn’t try the breakfast so can’t report on the food

What an amazing hotel, beautifully appointed rooms, vaulted ceilings with exposed oak beams, top of the range fixtures & fittings , more like a luxury home. I can’t wax lyrical enough, it was fantastic.

This is a beautiful place to stay. Room was gorgeous with expensive fittings and everything thought of, free water, hair dryer, coffee bags, kettle etc. Breakfast delicious and I loved Eccleshall. Staff were lovely and so much nicer than staying in Stafford.

Very large comfortable bedroom. Tasty breakfast served from 9.00 am. Feather bedding very nice but no alternative for guest with allergy. Very friendly & helpful staff

Another comfortable stay here in the George Best room. The room was ell equipped and quality tea/ coffee biscuits. Just a couple of very minor issues (shower control handle loose and no tissues in the dispenser) Lovely Staffordshire oatcakes for breakfast.
