We stayed here for 1 night whilst touring the peak district on our motorbikes. Plenty of parking and security cameras to ensure a good night's sleep. Our room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The shower was big with great water pressure. We had an evening meal which we would rate as excellent, plenty of very friendly staff and a short wait for our food. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful and varied. We tried the Porky Hash which was huge! We would definitely recommend a stay here... we will be back

Excellent experience all round, booking in simple, rooms very clean, food good, fresh and filling. Drinks very cheap in comprison to where we live in south east. Would stay again, no issues at all

Had a great stay at this hotel, the room was probably this biggest I've stayed in. The room was spotlessly clean and modern and fresh. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a meal in the restaurant which was really nice and not to expensive, the restaurant itself had good atmosphere. would defiantly recommend a stay here.

We had a one night stay in room 101. A nice large bedroom, but right above the function room and back door, and just our luck to pick the one night they had someones birthday party on! Breakfast was average. Asked for poached egg on toast and got boiled eggs on bread (one item cooked to much and the other not cooked enough).

Staff are key in any business and all at this establishment were fantastic. Attentive but not overpowering, helpful and friendly. Food was very nice indeed, freshly cooked ad piping hot. Rooms are well maintained with beds being some of the most comfirtable i sleep in. My business neans i stay away a lot, this hotel will be added to my list of frequent stays. Well priced for the area

Cheerful staff, clean room, good service, Wi-Fi reception is very poor around whole building, took 5 hours until we eventually got connected. Hotel does not offer Any gluten free options for breakfast, no cereals no toast, but to be fair the Jockey Breakfast was superb, overall my stay was disappointing.
