This is an oasis from San Pedro. Paula and staff were so kind and helpful it made a great stay perfect. Rooms are spacious and clean with AC which you need here. Pool area was beautiful and breakfast is great!

Vi havde 6 dejlige dage på dette sted. Fantastisk service, fantastisk morgenmad og hvilken søde og rare medarbejder som der var. Stedet ligger væk fra vejen med en fantastisk stilhed, hvor man kan slappe af ved pool, tager en øl I "Honesty" baren, en flaske vin fra opholdsrummet hvor der også er gratis kaffe/the, lidt vand og kiks og slik. Et sted jeg vil anbefale på det varmeste

Only breakfast is served, this was very good, on other days we ordered the packed breakfast which was always ready for us and enjoyable. We felt well looked after, nothing was too much trouble and the lodge itself is a beautiful place to stay.

Fantastic experience. The lodge is truly an oasis in the Atacama desert. Not over the top luxurious… just a quiet, lovely and spacious facility. If you are renting your own car then this is a fantastic option. It’s only 5 min outside of town but it has the advantage of being apart from the bustle and noise of the town. Yet easy enough to drive into town for meals or supplies. At Lodge Quelana, everyone was super helpful and nice. Natalia and Paola are true credits as service personnel. They were more like concierge service folks than receptionists. The pool was nice and rooms/baths new and clean. And big! The place is quiet and has access to a platform for star gazing. I’m so glad we picked this spot.

Excellent location just 10 minutes outside San Pedro, away from the dust, noise and grime. The units are setup like small cottages connected by boardwalks. Everything was very clean and well looked after with comfortable furnishings. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast and lovely pool area. Highly recommended.

Outstanding !! We loved how they took care of us. All the staff were amazing, Natalia and Yasna were exceptional with their customer service. Following their advice and recommendations on the local surroundings made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was so well planned and designed, from the original welcome tour to the final day facilities available for swimming, showering and luggage storage after check out times. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. We felt so welcome, surrounded by smiles. Thank you! We highly recommend this lodge!

Our 5 night stay at Lodge Quelana was wonderful! We wanted to stay at a really nice, relaxing and quiet hotel while in San Pedro de Atacama and Lodge Quelana was perfect. We loved coming back to the pool and relaxing at the end of each day exploring the Atacama. The rooms, service, staff and breakfast are all wonderful! All of the staff are so lovely and helpful, particularly Paula and Nadia. It is a 7-10 minute drive from town so best to have your own car. We highly recommend staying there if you want a beautiful and relaxing place to stay!

Wow. What a great place to stay! Out of the city, which was nice. I think you certainly need a car if you’re wanting to stay here. Very quiet and the staff were incredible! Really made our trip to the Atacama special. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the pool side was lovely on our rest days or in between tours. Highly recommend!

Lodge Quelana is a beautiful place to stay. It's outside if town, so you have the opportunity to see the clear night skies from their observation deck. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the breakfast had a great variety. To get into town, you need to drive, but the peace and quiet is worth it. After all, the town is not why you would come to the area; it's the landscape and the stargazing.

I highly recommend Lodge Quelana! The staff is wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. It is a short distance from San Pedro de Atacama, which makes it a nice respite from the town.

After having passed through San Pedro de Atacama on the way to the property, we were so pleasantly surprised by the contrast that experience provided. The hustle bustle and dust of SPA was left behind for a quiet lush shaded oasis in the desert. The cooing of doves in the trees greeted us to our home for the next five days. The welcome we received from the staff was superb, and that experience stretched across everyone there. Breakfast was a joy every day, greeted with warm smiles and offers of a wide and completely satisfying spread of tasty foods. The room was spotless, private and oh so quiet and peaceful. The location offers easy access to the town, as well as the wider Atacama area. When we return to the Atacama, Quelana will be our first choice for base of operations. Thank you all!

O hotel é excelente, lindo e tranquilo. O quarto é espaçoso, cama confortável, banheiro enorme e extremamente limpo. O atendimento é excepcional! A Natalia nos recebia sempre com um sorriso no rosto, muito atenciosa e simpática. Não tomamos café no hotel por causa do horário dos passeios, mas todos os dias prepararam alguns snacks para levarmos - tudo muito gostoso e preparado com carinho. Esperamos voltar em breve.

Immaculate lodge style hotel! Everything is super new and well maintained. Staff very friendly. The included breakfast was delicious, including local touches. Each lodge room is very private, and during our stay the whole atmosphere was very peaceful. I would return 5*

This is a lovely retreat. Each room is an individual cabana. The decor in the room was beautiful, and the landscaping of the grounds is wonderful. The staff was extremely gracious. I used this as a base to explore the area for 3 days and it was perfect. I had a rental car and explored on my own without booking any tours. It was easy and safe. A perfect trip. I will do it again soon.

Perfect choice when visiting Atacama! The Lodge is beautifully designed. The rooms are large, well equipped and comfortable. Each is extremely private. The staff are remarkable - everyone was super friendly and helpful. It's located a mile or so outside the town, so you need a car, but the result is peace and quiet and less dust. Very highly recommended!

O lodge quelana é incrível, exatamente como nas fotos da propriedade. Fomos de carro de calama até o hotel (melhor forma de conhecer o atacama). Tem um estacionamento amplo, os quartos são confortáveis e com ar condicionado/aquecedor - que faz toda diferença - pois durante o dia faz bastante calor e a noite bastante frio e eventualmente você ficará no hotel durante o dia após algum passeio na madrugada. Tudo estava muito limpo e o café da manhã é muito bom, a equipe do hotel é extremamente cordial e simpática, sempre com um sorriso no rosto e disposta a ajudar. A localização é um pouquinho depois de san pedro de atacama (vindo de calama), coisa de 4 minutos de carro, o que dá mais um ponto positivo para o local: silêncio e baixa poluição da luninosidade.

I had the most amazing stay at Lodge Quelana. One of the 3 accommodations with air con in Atacama, it is located out of town so you need a car unless you are happy to pay the small 6k CLP fee to get to town. The area is serene and beautiful though, out of the noise and dusty bustle of the township. I struggled with the altitude and heat so this place was a godsend. Immaculate lodge style hotel! Everything is super new and well maintained. Staff very friendly. The included breakfast was delicious, including local touches. Each lodge room is very private, and during our stay the whole atmosphere was very peaceful. I would return 5*

Tudo excelente mas o que mais me chamou a atenção foi o serviço. Todos os funcionarios muito atenciosos. A senhora Naya que nos servia o café da manhã era muito atenciosa e amável e as recepcionistas Maria José e Paola nos ajudaram recomendando passeios, preparando um box de café da manhã para os dias que saimos de madrugada para os passeios. Fantastic experience. The lodge is truly an oasis in the Atacama desert. Not over the top luxurious… just a quiet, lovely and spacious facility. If you are renting your own car then this is a fantastic option. It’s only 5 min outside of town but it has the advantage of being apart from the bustle and noise of the town. Yet easy enough to drive into town for meals or supplies. At Lodge Quelana, everyone was super helpful and nice. Natalia and Paola are true credits as service personnel. They were more like concierge service folks than receptionists. The pool was nice and rooms/baths new and clean. And big! The place is quiet and has access to a platform for star gazing. The lodge is an excellent place to stay for those who want comfort in peace and quiet. Located just outside San Pedro (a few minutes by car), it provides everything necessary for rest, relaxation and rejuvenating yourself after your Atacama experiences. Cabañas are spacious, comfortable and very clean. But what made it especially worthwhile for us was an outstanding level of service. Many thanks to Natalia (who was a huge help in solving a frustrating problem) and Paula at the reception desk who both went above and beyond to respond to our questions and needs as well as Jenni and Naya in the breakfast room who did a great job. If we could, we would have stayed longer.

Outstanding !! We loved how they took care of us. All the staff were amazing, Natalia and Yasna were exceptional with their customer service. Following their advice and recommendations on the local surroundings made our stay even more enjoyable. Everything was so well planned and designed, from the original welcome tour to the final day facilities available for swimming, showering and luggage storage after check out times. Wow. What a great place to stay! Out of the city, which was nice. I think you certainly need a car if you’re wanting to stay here. Very quiet and the staff were incredible! Really made our trip to the Atacama special. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the pool side was lovely on our rest days or in between tours. Highly recommend!

Perfect choice when visiting Atacama! The Lodge is beautifully designed. The rooms are large, well equipped and comfortable. Each is extremely private. The staff are remarkable - everyone was super friendly and helpful. It's located a mile or so outside the town, so you need a car, but the result is peace and quiet and less dust. O lodge quelana é incrível, exatamente como nas fotos da propriedade. Fomos de carro de calama até o hotel (melhor forma de conhecer o atacama). Tem um estacionamento amplo, os quartos são confortáveis e com ar condicionado/aquecedor - que faz toda diferença - pois durante o dia faz bastante calor e a noite bastante frio e eventualmente você ficará no hotel durante o dia após algum passeio na madrugada. Tudo estava muito limpo e o café da manhã é muito bom, a equipe do hotel é extremamente cordial e simpática, sempre com um sorriso no rosto e disposta a ajudar. A localização é um pouquinho depois de san pedro de atacama (vindo de calama), coisa de 4 minutos de carro, o que dá mais um ponto positivo para o local: silêncio e baixa poluição da luninosidade.

Great property. One of the very few hotels with AIR CONDITION. Everyone was very nice and even offered to provide breakfast to go when we checked out. The shower was extremely nice as well. I would highly recommend especially if you rent a car.

After having passed through San Pedro de Atacama on the way to the property, we were so pleasantly surprised by the contrast that experience provided. The hustle bustle and dust of SPA was left behind for a quiet lush shaded oasis in the desert. The cooing of doves in the trees greeted us to our home for the next five days. The welcome we received from the staff was superb, and that experience stretched across everyone there. Breakfast was a joy every day, greeted with warm smiles and offers of a wide and completely satisfying spread of tasty foods. The room was spotless, private and oh so quiet and peaceful. The location offers easy access to the town, as well as the wider Atacama area. When we return to the Atacama, Quelana will be our first choice for base of operations. Thank you all!

O Lodge fica a 4,5km da Vila de San Pedro, Então recomendo para quem vai de carro. A única refeição que servem é café da manhã , para jantar e almoçar necessita ir à vila. Acho que poderia ter mais ganchos para pendurar toalhas no quarto e banheiro. E achei que o ar condicionado não da conta do calor. O café da manhã poderia ser mais diversificado, mas atende bem. Funcionários super atenciosos e simpáticos Nos adoramos nossa hospedagem.
O Lodge fica a 4,5km da Vila de San Pedro, Então recomendo para quem vai de carro. A única refeição que servem é café da manhã , para jantar e almoçar necessita ir à vila. Acho que poderia ter mais ganchos para pendurar toalhas no quarto e banheiro. E achei que o ar condicionado não da conta do calor. O café da manhã poderia ser mais diversificado, mas atende bem. Pearl in the desert! We can highly recommend to stay at the Quelana . It's a beautiful, super friendly and tranquil oasis in San Pedro de Atacama. The breakfast is outstanding. We would return any minute!

I had the most amazing stay at Lodge Quelana. One of the 3 accommodations with air con in Atacama, it is located out of town so you need a car unless you are happy to pay the small 6k CLP fee to get to town. The area is serene and beautiful though, out of the noise and dusty bustle of the township. I struggled with the altitude and heat so this place was a godsend. Breakfast was lovely and variety was decent for the included meal. The best thing about Lodge Quelana was the exemplar service. Best service I have ever received from a hotel from my travels worldwide. Natalia in reception was so accommodating and extremely responsive, going the extra mile to make my staff even more amazing such as ordering me my taxis even when I was in town and wanted to get back to the lodge, or making me a breakfast tray when I came back from a really morning day tour (at 1pm!), or being very generous with a late check out for me. Thankyou for being a luxurious and nurturing hotel in the desert, I really enjoyed my stay here!

Wow. What a great place to stay! Out of the city, which was nice. I think you certainly need a car if you’re wanting to stay here. Very quiet and the staff were incredible! Really made our trip to the Atacama special. Breakfast was delicious each morning and the pool side was lovely on our rest days or in between tours. Highly recommend!

Hotel is a little out of town, and hard to find (no signage really, dirt road) but very quiet and comfortable. The owners and staff are all women, except a grounds keeper, all very kind. Breakfast was lovely. Pretty pool, perhaps underutilized, with nice alcoves around it where you can spend a few hours. Rooms are nice little cabanas, bathrooms partially open (but very private), which I liked.

Everything about the 4 nights I spent at Lodge Quelana was wonderful. A beautiful oasis, nestled on the outskirts of San Pedro with a serene, tranquil vibe. Maria was a great host who couldn’t have done more for me. The perfect place to relax after enjoying what the local area has to offer. Would love to come back!

Fantastic breakfast with lovely accommodating staff. More than happy to assist always. Don’t be put off with the distance from town - cheap taxi ride and easy bike ride. A relaxing and quiet place to stay. Highly recommended!
