⭐ Very poor hygiene & disappointing service I stayed here with my two children, aged 2 and 9, and was shocked to find visible blood stains on two mattresses in our room. This falls well below basic hygiene standards and is completely unacceptable for anyone staying there, especially young children. It is clear the room was not properly checked or cleaned before we arrived. I reported the issue immediately to staff at the hotel, and followed up through the official channels to raise a formal concern. My request was declined without any proper explanation or apology. This experience has been very upsetting, and I feel that basic health and safety was not prioritised here. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when booking.

Parking wasn't too bad in the Saxon Car park, however managing parking for the duration a bit of a faff to juggle without having to top up in the early hours. WiFi was disappointing especially with the cost of a very basic room. You'd expect it to be free as with many other locations. Even though you pay for it, it's very weak, which was a real pain as it kept dropping and you had to keep signing back in.

Room was ok, bed very comfortable and clean. Internet was ok, but you only get 30 mins free per day. Seems very odd to limit this or extend for payment in this day and age when paying over 100 per night for a simple room.
