Courtyard Boston Downtown/North Station

DO NOT STAY HERE IF THERE IS AN EVENT AT TDBANK and you are counting on valet. I am 62 and have arthritis in both hands, a back and hip injury and was driving 7hr to Boston to take my son to Bruins game. I was counting on having a few hr before the game to relax. I CALLED AHEAD and their parking option said they ONLY had Valet. Yet when we got there 445pm, we were turned away and sent to another garage 3/4 of a mile away and when we got there it was also a busy garage and there wasnt any parking. After driving around for 45 min we found one bad spot then had to rush back to the hotel with our bags and took an uber in busy traffic. We had no time to relax and barely made the game in time. I talked to the Manager and they didnt offer any solution other than I could go get my car after the game and come back to park. I paid $100 more to stay at this hotel for convenience and they advertised valet then I had to spend more money for an Uber, lost the 2 hr I had free, barely made the game, and had to walk back to the other parking garage at 6am in the dark worried I was going to get mugged. So much for "Valet." The manager was also snarky about not offering me any compensation and wanted to lecture me on why he couldnt help me. Like I said, dont stay here if you are counting on convenience of being next to TD Bank unless you either dont have a car or arrive early in the day... of course that will be too early to check in... then get treated rudely. very dissappointed in Marriot

Very nice clean rooms. Amazing location. Lovely staff. Would definitely return. I would’ve just like to have seen more staff at the bar and restaurant as was often not open.

Room and bathroom were clean. The lobby was clean and the service was great. The hallways on the floors felt a little dated with the carpet, slight musty smell, and the warmth. However that was disappears when you get to your room so it didn’t bother us at all. The gym was a small to moderate size but had plenty of equipment. I worked out every morning and no issues using the equipment around others. Water cooler, towels, and apples were provided. The views from the gym were good especially looking out over the bridge. The gym was open 24 hrs which was nice. I wish this floor had a restroom to use but management said the restroom on this floor was only for staff so if you need to use the restroom while working out you’ll have to go back to your room which is inconvenient. Overall had a good stay and would stay again. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. We stayed in the summer but this would be an awesome place if you were there for a Celtics or Bruins bc it was across the street from TD Garden.

The hotel is conveniently located and walkable to many attractions. The parking is very expensive because you have no choice but valet.

Room service is not offered . If you plan to stay in Boston car rental is not necessary. Uber and Lyft will do. Daily valet for vehicle at the hotel is 64$/night

Fantastic location if you are going to an event at TD Garden. Please note that valet parking was filled by 6 pm and overflow parking is a half mile away and a bit confusing to get to if you are walking or if it’s late at night.

This is my new favorite hotel! Incredibly convenient, amazing service from the front desk concierge, and a clean room! Highly recommend staying here and waking up early for a Starbucks coffee in the lobby!!

This is a great hotel! The location is perfect, the entire hotel is clean and modern, and the rooms are very nice. I love the fact they hace laundry machines in every floor and a Starbucks in the lobby.

Great location for attending a sporting event at TD Garden arena. Right across the street. Easy to walk to dinner and bars in the North End. Hotel staff was very helpful in providing directions. Gym was well-equipped and very clean. Highly recommend this property!

Music blared in the fitness center and the hotel staff did not know how to turn it off or down.

Hotel is great and modern. Only issue was my room had a light hint of marijuana when I came to my room for the night. Staff was great

Front desk staff was great. A half dozen stains on the carpeting in my room was not a good start. $17.00 for a gin and tonic at the makeshift bar in the lobby made it official.

Cleanliness and excellence in customer service were priority and did not disappoint. Over all a great experience. Will stay again.

The bathroom sink leaked. The sink had mold around the inside edges. The bed had a large stain on the side.

The location was perfect - right across the street from TD Garden. There was a stain on our carpet and our bedsheets were ripped, but they kindly provided us new ones.

You couldn't ask for a better location. You could easily walk to restaurants, shopping and events. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. However, I would definitely check the bedding BEFORE bedtime. The comforter and spare bed blanket were not clean which made me second guess the overall cleanliness!

Comfortable and clean. Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Rooms with the view was spectacular, but if you're a light sleeper the bridge and city traffic may get to you. Although, the thick windows and drapes was able to drown out the city noise for the most part. Train station and Freedom nearby made getting around Boston a breeze.

Well i stood there many times before and it was good this time my room had no cold water plus you put on the shower it sounded like a motorcycle club loud banging from pipes ,informed front desk for some reason nobody came to look at it.i give it a 6 out of 10

Weird house in our room like water pipes were seizing up. They moved us, but I preferred the view and we had to be on another floor from our family.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Staff was pleasant. Refrigerator was not cold and kept shutting down. Would have like a microwave nearby.

We loved the location near the North End and it was walkable to the waterfront, Quincy Market and Government Center. The T was right across the street. The only thing we did not like was that we had two groups of three adults and two rooms with 1 king bed and a pull out bed. The pull out bed could not be slept on. It was all springs and very uncomfortable. Even a child would have a hard time sleeping on it. As a result, we requested a room with two queens for the other four people in our party and we had four in one room and two in the King room. They also did not clean the rooms, which they announced with a flyer on our door, so we called to replace the towels in the morning, but no one came so we had to call again when we got back. Other than those two things everything was great and the staff was kind and accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

The staff were fantastic - so personable, the hotel was clean & modern - great vibe, room was also clean, modern, & spacious. There was so much to do in the surrounding area too. The only con for me personally is that the bed was too hard.

The only issue is that the pillows just lay flat. You can stack 3 on top of each other and barely raise your head up. Everything else is GREAT.

Tony greeted me at check in, and he was fast, funny and friendly. Helped me get valet parking taken care of. This is a big hotel with a beautiful lobby..the kind you might want to hang out in and pick up a book and read...or just sit and people watch. My room was a generous size. Two very comfortable Queen beds, a lounge chair, tv, dresser, cabinet with fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom is modern, very large, and very clean. I would love to come back and stay a little longer!.

This was my second stay here and it was just as great as the first. While our room wasn’t ready the exact moment we arrived, we only waited maybe five minutes in the comfortable lobby before we were handed our keys and offered comped breakfast for our minimal wait. The room was pristine with a glorious view of the river. We also appreciated the later than usual check out time that allowed us greater flexibility with our transportation arrangements.

We loved the welcome on arrival, the amazing room (size, cleanliness, bathroom etc), and fabulous views. Great staff, and a delicious breakfast in the dining area. The only thing that we could fault and is a maintenance issue is when the hot water from the neighbouring room was being used the pipe work/heating was incredibly loud and not possible to sleep through. When our hot water was turned on it did the same, so can only imagine equally frustrating for our neighbouring room also.

My wife and I stayed in #702. We had a beautiful view of TD Garden. Regina's pizza was the best i have had in a long time. The hotel service was excellent. Everyone was very nice and helpful. However to my wife and I, Tony was by far the best. Talk about a people person, down to earth and a very very nice person.

I stay in a lot of hotels. I think this might be the most friendly staff I’ve ever encountered. The price is a little expensive but you definitely get what you pay for.

John at the front desk was AMAZING! We got in ahead of check-in time and he was able to get us a room. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and genuine - it was just a lovely experience. By far the best check-in experience we’ve ever had. John is a star example of how to make guests feel valued and cared for - I saw it several times while we were in the lobby and it was great to watch.

My partner and I stayed one night here on our engagement trip. The hotel upgraded us and left champagne and a thoughtful note. We felt so grateful and it really added that extra special touch to our trip. No complaints!

The property is right next to the TD Garden. Couldn't ask for a better location. Check in was less than stellar. One week prior to arrival I called the front desk to ask for adjoining rooms - a member of our party has ADA issues. At that time it was stated that would not be an issue. At 9 a.m. on the day of arrival I called to insure that the rooms were adjoining and was informed that it was not possible. The rooms were adjacent but not connected. Which meant that i had to buy a baby monitor. I asked for an early check in for 2 p.m. One room was ready and the second (although already cleaned by housekeeping) was not made available until 90 minutes later. Other than these issues the staff was pleasant and courteous.

Checking in here was the best check in experience I've had. The gentlemen at the desk were super friendly and went above and beyond to help us with our luggage. We had a rough trip so they kindly hooked us up with the best view, which was totally unexpected. They even provided help with a broken lock on one of our suitcases! Breakfast was great and had generous portions with delicious coffee. We loved it here!

Check-in was very swift and Josh at the front desk was fabulous and so accommodating to our family's needs. We will definitely comeback to this hotel on our next trip to Boston area.

Appreciated all things offered about the hotel. Minor issue is we asked for additional towels at the desk and they never came. Shower handle seemed loose and difficult to turn. I had explained the desk at check out. Would hope this situation is fixed for a future guest.

Clean hotel with friendly staff close to T station.

Loved the convenience of staying in this area, it had multiple restaurants and bars on the same block. If you’re going to TD Garden for an event, this is definitely a go to spot.

This hotel was perfect for our visit to Boston and our concert at TD Garden.

The convenience of the location was the best. Close to the subway and within walking distance of the Boston Market and Quincy Market. Across the street is TD Garden.

The front desk employees were very welcome and helpful. Our room was clean and the hotel was in a great location. North station is located across the street which makes travel across the city easy.

Loved the proximity to transportation! We were across the street from the Orange line with MBTA. Could use that to connect to all other subways and commuter trains.

Ideal hotel if your in town for any events at the TD Garden, 2 block walk if that.

Great location for walking to so much in Boston; Commons, public gardens, Quincy Market, Chinatown, North End restaurants, TD Garden, and North Train station. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and refreshed rooms. Highly recommend!

The property was clean, the front desk staff were great. It was breakfast that disappointed us. We had the French toast and it was 2 very small pieces of bread with 5 or 6 slices very thinly sliced strawberries. It was extremely disappointing and I was still very hungry after. I was also told that apple juice was not included in the pre-paid breakfast. We ordered to stay and it was packed to go and given to someone else. Thankfully they checked their bag before leaving and realized it wasn’t their order. I would hesitate on getting breakfast at this hotel again. And definitely NOT the French toast.

Attended Disturbed at TD Garden. Room was close, clean and quiet. We ate breakfast there and it was tasty.

Beautiful hotel and amazing service! I was greeted by the kindest staff member, Tony, who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. I enjoyed the views of the hotel both inside and out. The area is not too busy or loud. I ordered food from the hotel restaurant twice and both times it was delicious. Very peaceful and quiet on the floor I stayed on. Spacious king room and bathroom, very clean. TV was fully functional with Netflix. Was not bothered or called to check out of the room at a certain time which I appreciated. I will choose this hotel every time I’m in Boston! Thank you for everything Tony and staff!

The food at the bistro bar was not good

The location was perfect/ beautiful view! There wasn’t a fan in the bathroom. Breakfast was ok. ( bacon and cheese omelette was mostly filled with onions, came with a side salad without dressing, & separate order a little pricey for only 4 triangles of French toast)

Great location! Room was comfortable and quiet. The only "issue" was the smell in the lobby. There was an overpowering flowery smell, which can trigger migraines. No smell is always better than an overpowering perfume odor. Breakfast is chaotic and understaffed. All employees of the hotel were extremely helpful

Breakfast was not free. And there was no soap in the room. Only the Shampoo and Conditioner in the shower.
