Clean private & friendly, I did not take the breakfast option. Excellent pub a short walk away along with a village shop.

Excellent accommodation in a quiet location. The Lodge is situated in lovely private grounds with electronic gates in Hemingford Grey. We stayed in the Oak room and loved the size of the room and the lovely bathroom. The room was very stylish from the oak flooring to the furniture and the bathroom. A good breakfast (cereals, fresh fruit salad, yogurt, toast etc) was delivered on a tray to our room at a time to suit you. Although check in is 4pm, I asked if check in could be earlier as we were attending an afternoon garden party in the area. Maria was very obliging and kindly messaged that morning advising that our room was ready and that we could check in at lunchtime. All in all we had a great overnight stay and wished we were staying longer to appreciate more of this peaceful and pretty village. Definitely would stay there again.

Hosts were very accommodating and the location was perfect to visit family and friends . A walk to the village shop while having the river so close were ideal. We hope to make it back soon.
