Great breakfast with many options, amazing staff, great bed, room can be more clean (wall and bathroom) But overall a great stay in a great location

The hotel was very clean, the staff was very attentive and the breakfast bar was pleasant. The location was good for the city central, only a 15 minute walk from the central train station.

The breakfast was always replenished quickly, there was something for everyone. Staff were lovely and we were able to check in a little early which was so helpful. Didn’t have to walk to far for anywhere we wanted, around 20 minutes to most places but we do walk at a leisurely pace

Really disappointed with our stay here. The original room we were given had a constant high-pitched noise and was completely unusable. We were then moved to another room in a different building, which was inconvenient to access and not what we booked. Unfortunately, the replacement room was in very poor condition. There was visible damage, including a huge hole in the middle of the bathroom door and marks all over the walls. It was also not clean, with stains on the bed and on the floor, which was really unacceptable. When we raised these issues, the situation became even more stressful as staff were unhelpful and made us feel uncomfortable. Rather than resolving the problem, we were effectively told to leave if we were not happy after paying almost £1000 for our stay.. In the end, we had no choice but to leave late at night and find alternative accommodation, which was incredibly stressful and inconvenient. Overall, this was a very upsetting experience, ruined my 30th birthday and not the standard we expected at all. Would not recommend. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
