I can’t believe that so many people have given it 10/10! The first issue was that despite the Hotel offering parking when I emailed to enquire I was told that I couldn’t reserve a space - I had to enquire about parking at reception when we arrived….but there was nowhere to park the car outside the hotel! So we parked in the public car park….and it cost €88 for one night! I did enquire about parking at Reception but was told that it was actually up the road…..not exactly as indicated by the website 😕 The room was ok, not what I’d expect for the price, not even a free bottle of water and hairs in the washbasin. The shower kept reverting to cold for a few seconds. My husband had to go to Reception twice just to get some tea bags and milk. We got back from a days shopping and wanted to eat in the restaurant but were told that it was closed! On a Saturday night! Breakfast was pretty disappointing too, the pastries weren’t cooked enough and the juice was from a packet. The area around the hotel is absolutely horrible, think Kings Cross 20 years ago…..this is most definitely not a hotel to stay in if you’re a single woman. If I hadn’t been with my husband I wouldn’t even have checked in, we most definitely wouldn’t have stayed a second night. I wish that there was something positive to say….

Great hotel just a couple of minutes walk to tram stop with frequent service to city centre 10 mins away. Staff were excellent, reopening bar for us after a late arrival. Would definitely return

Gut gefallen hat uns das umliegende Parkhaus, ansonsten wäre ein Parkplatz unmöglich gewesen . Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und gut geräumig . Das Frühstücksbüfett ist recht überschaubar gestaltet und verbesserungsbedürftig. Das Personal ist kompetent und freundlich. Die Lage & der Ausblick gewöhnungsbedürftig

Quarto excelente. Adorei ter água no corredor à vontade e amenities na recepção também à vontade. O estacionamento era fora do prédio e caro. Mas recomendo o hotel; gostamos muito.

En general el hotel está bien. Limpio y cómodo con habitaciones amplias. El aparcamiento que “ofrece” el hotel es de pago (20€ por día) y muy escaso ya que no tienen plazas suficientes para sus clientes, por lo que hay que aparcar en otro parking cercano que es más caro (29€ por día). Eso sin duda no nos gustó, pero aun así, el hotel está bien para alojarse.

We had an amazing stay here when visiting the Bordeaux Wine Festival. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms are a good size with good amenities and the hotel is close to the tramline and the train station for getting around. The rooms and hotel are well maintained and very clean. We did think the bar prices in the hotel were a bit expensive given the location is not city centre, wine was reasonable but other drinks can be expensive. We would definitely stay here again as it’s a great hotel with excellent staff who provide a very friendly service. Thanks to all the staff for a great stay at the Golden Tulip Euratlantique.

J'ai atterri au Golden Tulip par le hasard du moteur de recherche. J'ai été très agréablement surpris par cet établissement. J'y ai sejourné le dimanche 20/10 et j'ai été merveilleusement accueilli par Fabien et son équipe La chambre était irréprochable ! Clean et spatieuse ! Je recommande vivement cet l'hôtel sans doute l'un des meilleurs dans le secteur de la gare St Jean.

Modern und sauber aber vom Standard her eher 3 Sterne, kein alkoholfreies Bier an der Bar, mitten in der Nacht Feueralarm ohne dass sich jemand gekümmert oder entschuldigt hätte, keine Minibar. Frühstück wird nicht nachgelegt, 1 h vor Ende gibt es fast nichts mehr. Trotz Bitte um ruhige Zimmer, Zimmer Richtung Kreuzung und Bahnhof. Gegend nicht schön ziemlich runtergekommen nur praktisch zum Bahnhof. Insgesamt ok aber würde ich nicht mehr buchen.

Like most hotels in the world, they do let you control the room temperature despite having a thermostat in the room. It was way too hot and impossible to do anything about it. The room had a liquid soap dispenser. Didn’t dispense much. Obviously designed to give you as little soap per push as possible. No paper tissue dispenser either. Overall quiet room.

Bon hotel, idéalement placé pour mon travail proche de la gare , après ce n'est pas le quartier le plus glamour de Bordeaux c'est sur . Juste un point négatif , l'isolation des fenêtres n'a pas fait l'objet d'un investissement à la hauteur du prix des chambres , on entends très bien l'extérieur , rue passante , trains, trams , comme si c'était entrouvert .

Helt ok som övernattning innan du reser vidare med tåg eller hyrbil. Skulle inte stanna här vid ett Bordeaux besök då det ligger helt offside. Ung personal varav två var väldigt hjälpsamma.

The facility and staff were excellent. The rooms were clean and modern and the staff was very helpful. The facility is very close to a tram stop which provides great access to shopping and restaurants as well as the Cite du Vin, a great experience.

J'ai atterri au Golden Tulip par le hasard du moteur de recherche. J'ai été très agréablement surpris par cet établissement. J'y ai sejourné le dimanche 20/10 et j'ai été merveilleusement accueilli par Fabien et son équipe La chambre était irréprochable ! Clean et spatieuse ! Je recommande vivement cet l'hôtel sans doute l'un des meilleurs dans le secteur de la gare St Jean.

Golden Tulip is a very modern clean hotel, similar to its sisters in other towns. The only issue is location- it is very hard to get to by car, and the area is a new development with some dodgy characters about, similar to being in Canary Wharf or La Defense

Bon hotel, idéalement placé pour mon travail proche de la gare , après ce n'est pas le quartier le plus glamour de Bordeaux c'est sur . Juste un point négatif , l'isolation des fenêtres n'a pas fait l'objet d'un investissement à la hauteur du prix des chambres , on entends très bien l'extérieur , rue passante , trains, trams , comme si c'était entrouvert .

I can’t believe that so many people have given it 10/10! The first issue was that despite the Hotel offering parking when I emailed to enquire I was told that I couldn’t reserve a space - I had to enquire about parking at reception when we arrived….but there was nowhere to park the car outside the hotel! So we parked in the public car park….and it cost €88 for one night! I did enquire about parking at Reception but was told that it was actually up the road…..not exactly as indicated by the website 😕 The room was ok, not what I’d expect for the price, not even a free bottle of water and hairs in the washbasin. The shower kept reverting to cold for a few seconds. My husband had to go to Reception twice just to get some tea bags and milk. We got back from a days shopping and wanted to eat in the restaurant but were told that it was closed! On a Saturday night! Breakfast was pretty disappointing too, the pastries weren’t cooked enough and the juice was from a packet. The area around the hotel is absolutely horrible, think Kings Cross 20 years ago…..this is most definitely not a hotel to stay in if you’re a single woman. If I hadn’t been with my husband I wouldn’t even have checked in, we most definitely wouldn’t have stayed a second night. I wish that there was something positive to say….

Modern und sauber aber vom Standard her eher 3 Sterne, kein alkoholfreies Bier an der Bar, mitten in der Nacht Feueralarm ohne dass sich jemand gekümmert oder entschuldigt hätte, keine Minibar. Frühstück wird nicht nachgelegt, 1 h vor Ende gibt es fast nichts mehr. Trotz Bitte um ruhige Zimmer, Zimmer Richtung Kreuzung und Bahnhof. Gegend nicht schön ziemlich runtergekommen nur praktisch zum Bahnhof. Insgesamt ok aber würde ich nicht mehr buchen.

Gut gefallen hat uns das umliegende Parkhaus, ansonsten wäre ein Parkplatz unmöglich gewesen . Die Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und gut geräumig . Das Frühstücksbüfett ist recht überschaubar gestaltet und verbesserungsbedürftig. Das Personal ist kompetent und freundlich. Die Lage & der Ausblick gewöhnungsbedürftig

Our two connected rooms made for a roomy and comfortable stay. We had a kettle to make a quick coffee but there was a lovely bar and breakfast area for us to enjoy as well
