Nice property nice location very clean as always. They added on a $25 mandatory charge after you check in and then they give you for that a free MTA pass if you want and a $25 credit to their lounge. Drinks cost about $18 a pop.

We’ve stayed here before and we love this hotel. To my knowledge, this is the only walking distance hotel to Boston College. We reserved in April and even then, the price of the room was outrageous ($2,500 for 3 nights). We were there the last weekend of September for Family Weekend. I have to say staff made it very festive, everyone was wearing BC merch and guests were having a good time. The weekend before, I paid under $400 for one night which is much more reasonable. If you are there because you have kids at BC, it’s very convenient. There’s a laundry room on every floor, restaurant options at the hotel and around the corner, CVS is also across the way.

Very clean and nice hotel. Staff was very attentive and courteous, helping us with anything we needed. Valet parking (only option) was quite expensive but the bar and restaurant and breakfast were wonderful.

The hotel itself as a facility is quite nice, comfortable, modern. But it abuts the Boston Transit system and can be pretty noisy - the Green Line trains run until about midnight and start again at 5-6am. You are also charged a $25 per day "destination fee" which you can use towards food and beverage but are not given a credit if unused. It also is not applied against the $45 a night parking fee. To add insult to injury, staff did not show up for breakfast this morning so I ended up checking out 30 minutes past the time it was to start (they did give people checking out a credit for that) All in, just an OK stay.

Very nice, very clean. Valet service only for parking and the extra cost to park was not mentioned on hotels.com site. Cleveland Circle is like 15 minutes to fenway and less than a half hour to downtown and all the attractions. It was very easy to get around town from this location.

My daughter and I started our 4 night stay at this Marriott hotel. We arrived late morning and our room was clean and ready. Freshly washed floors and clean linens. On our check out day, we were allowed to keep our luggage in the room until our last college tour was over and we were able. To pick it up to head to the airport.

I was worried about the train noise from other reviews but it was no problem at all. Mediterranean restaurant right next door, Eagles deli a block away has breakfast lunch and dinner. One block to the T stop. Hotel was super clean.

The reception staff was courteous, friendly and professional. The hotel and rooms were nice and quiet with the exception of my pillowcases and bed linens which were filthy. There is lack of storage for personal belongings in the rooms. I also began bringing my belongings down on the day of my checkout and returned to find housekeeping in my room despite the privacy sign on my door. I was not ready to check out yet and could not return to my room

This hotel has nice accommodations and a lovely breakfast option. The staff were helpful. The hotel is clean and modern. I removed a star because the towels were scratchy and thin and the sound proofing was almost non-existent. I could hear my neighbor's TV, all sounds in the hallway at all hours, and there was a train that was directly behind my room. The location is great if you need access to Brighton.

I really liked the room. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. It’s super expensive to stay there, parking is $45 a night and there is no overhead light in the main bedroom so if you want to see what’s inside your bag for example you have to move to the entry hall way. The shower was awesome except for a dangerously slippery floor which I was surprised about. My room was on the trolly line outside but I am hard of hearing so it did not bother me at all.

Room was nice and modern, very clean. Front desk was very nice and helpful (Brandon, maybe?) The location was great, quiet but active neighborhood and super convenient to the green line train @ Cleveland Circle. The refrigerator was not very cold (slightly chilly at the very best) and the mattress was a little too hard….but these were minor issues and no big deal.

Overall a good stay. One small issue though. The thermostat was locked in our room and could not be lowered below 67 degrees, which made the air system start and stop frequently. It was quite noisy. Would prefer being able to control the temp a bit ourselves.

Our plane arrived Very early, So I called to see if we could get into our room earlier than the 3pm check in time. I called 2 times and both people said to call between 12-3 to see if a room would be ready (though they advised it was unlikely). I called around 1:30-2:00 to check in and spoke to a woman named Allegra. She had said it was not quite ready. Since it was so close to 3 (and we didn't want to sit in the hotel lobby) I had asked her to call me when our room was ready. By around 4, I still had not heard from her and called again (since 3pm was official check in time) and was told that our room was in fact ready and when I asked why Allegra didn't call to let us know, they had said "she left early" as if that was an appropriate excuse. She has a job and if she was leaving early (or on time), she should have passed her responsibility onto someone else. When we arrived t the hotel, I had told the person at the front desk about speaking to allegra and he said the same thing "She's gone for the day", and I said the same thing to him "that's not an excuse" and to be honest, he should be embarrassed for giving such a lame excuse. people need to be responsible and follow through with their promises and commitments

My husband and I have stayed at this hotel many times. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the rooms are comfortable, clean and quiet. We would especially recommend the breakfast experience because the buffet offers great pastries and other choices, and the wait staff makes a big effort to be helpful.

On Tuesday morning we asked for our room to be serviced and were told it would be. When we came back that night no one had touched it - bed unmade, used towels unchanged and no tissues. Hotel is well set up for visitors and staff was polite but no excuse for not servicing our room after we asked it be done

The hotel is in a great location, right near the C & D Green Line of Boston's "T." It was perfect for quickly getting in and out of the city, maybe a 10 minute ride in to Fenway. A great location for anyone coming in for a Red Sox game, maybe a visit to BC. Despite being so close to the tracks, we didn't hear the trains at all. The rooms were also very spacious, seemed very new. If I have any complaints, I'd say the parking and the breakfast are overly expensive, but that's pretty minor. I would definitely stay here again.

It was great outside of the breakfast. There’s nothing to account for vegans or those who might be gluten free, unless they just eat fruit (as there was no way to tell if the oatmeal was made with milk or not). I’m a marriot Bonvoy member and even the residence inn has gluten free bagels as an option for breakfast. I literally had to skip breakfast because I couldn’t really eat a decent breakfast there.

There are many things I loved about this property. It was very clean, possibly built recently. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom was spacious. The room was well thought out. But the standout was the breakfast. The freshly made cappuccino, the fresh meats, cheeses, bread, pastries, individual egg dishes, I could go on and on. It was a short stay, but probably the best Marriott property I’ve been to in years.

The hotel is located very close to the subway. The room had a couch so relaxing in the room was very comfortable. The breakfast was delightful. There is an excellent restaurant across the street. I would gladly stay at this hotel again.

My stay at the A.C. Marriott was enjoyable and relaxing. The staff were professional, yet warm and friendly, A special shout out to the restaurant staff and cook. When staying at a hotel I find that I am usually searching for a good restaurant, however the fare at A.C. Marriott exceeded the normal "chain" restaurants' standards.

Great new hotel and I love the location because there is not much else in the area. Very easy to book. Great front desk staff. It is on the other side of the T so it can be a tad noisy, depending on which way your room is facing. And the bar was a bit of a disappointment very very expensive. But overall, I would recommend and I will return!
