Very nice new facility. Staff is friendly and helpful. Handicap accessible features are great. Good breakfast buffet. Would like to have furniture to place luggage on to unpack, and room for unpacked clothes.

We arrived after dark for a one night stay so can’t really comment on the view. Reception was good, room very comfortable and clean. Nice shower. Good choices at breakfast with some healthy options. The EV chargers were not working which was a real nuisance but they are separate to the hotel and the only help they could provide was to tell us where there was another charger nearby. But not their fault! Excellent value and great for a one or two night stay

Nice modern and well maintained hotel in Camborne, just a few miles from Cambridge, and close to the main E-W road. Well laid out compact room, free WiFi and parking. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent bed. 24 HR reception and bar. Cooked breakfast included, but at 9am they were struggling to keep up. No coffee in the machines, no hash browns, tables not cleared, short of cutlery and mugs. This was the only negative, and despite this the breakfast was decent. Star are friendly and professional, and despite my reservations re breakfast service I would definitely recommend this as good value.

Very nice hotel, very clean, almost new with professional staff who were polite and helpful, which was much better than my recent experiences at a Premiere Inn. Food and beer were also good. No problems with anything. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely go back.

Pleasant new hotel, clean and nice. We stayed three nights, after a two-week trip on the road. Only little quibble was that the room cleaning crew never did get in to freshen up the room, in the times we were out and about.

They had us change rooms in the middle of the night because the plumbing was clogged in the shower, even though this is a fairly new hotel. The rooms are by no means anywhere close to the size stated (270sf) they are half that. There’s practically no room to open your luggage anywhere but your bed.

The bed was fantastic but the pillows were a bit too soft for me personally. Hash browns at breakfast would have been nice but I can’t have everything. Location of hotel is spot on. We walked to the pub round the corner both evenings for dinner. Morrisons superstore right next door and an Indian restaurant near the pub also.

I had contacted the hotel twice before arrival to confirm a we had a room suitable for a dog, once we arrived we were told this hadn't been done and were made to wait whilst a room was made available, the room I feel was far too small for a family and dog, we had a sofa bed up against a wall for a 6ft 16 year old and couldn't walk past the end if it to get from the double adult bed to the toilet, the from was clean and staff were friendly but I feel our experience was affected by the unorganised room,

Reception (Nikki) was very helpful and pleasant and friendly and informative. All staff were very good and gave excellent service in fact some of the best service I have had and I travel a lot with work! Friendly but couteous and respectful. Hotel was spotless, very tidy and room was very smart and comfortable. Breakfast great as was dinner and beer the night before and parking good including electric charge facility. Overall a lot of hotels could learn a lot from these guys, especially given the price point for hotel room and food and drink and it's location. Well done and many thanks.

Amazing experience. Zahid and his team welcomed us warmly and made the check-in a breeze. Comfortable room , good size and good facilities. Breakfast was good and manager on the day - Tan and his team looked after us and ensured we were well fed! Thank you to everyone - the cleaning team clearly do an amazing job to ensure all space are well cleaned Thank you all.

Prior to travelling to the hotel earlier in the week I contacted them re having somewhere to change as we were going to a wedding which would last until midnight that day. I also called when on the way down on the day of arrival. Was advised would be helped when we arrived, On arrival help refused no change to book and so were left to change in disabled toilet and not sure wether rooms ready at midnight when we returned, we were extremely disappointed as had rebooked two double rooms months in advance would not recommend this hotel to others in the same situation,

Felt new and cared for, bit more stylish than other Holiday Inns and way better than the one to the east of Cambridge. Close to excellent park and ride for central Cambridge (free parking, regular service, £3.50 return). So you may not be in the centre of the city but it’s really easy to get there from here

Hotel good and comfortable. Restuarant for evening meals was an absolute disgrace!! 1st night went to order from the very limited menue only to be told that 3 out of the 6 choices were not available - no food ingrediants. 2nd night same menue but they had one additional choice back on, but still a disgrace. Had to go out and spend alot more money on fuel and meal costs so we could have a meal.

Restaurant and table service comically incompetent- main problem in the kitchen evidently staffed by someone without either skill or any notion of what the items on the menu should be. Literally the worst dinner ever experienced in a hotel and totally outside even the modest but respectable aspirations of Holiday Inn. The breakfast at least edible but also sub- standard for Holiday Inn.

Standard room. We know what we will get when we go to Holiday Inn Express and we like the consistency when we stay at these locations. The front desk was helpful and quick with our check in. The breakfast was very good offering many different items.

Room comfortable, bed ok, good bathroom. Breakfast excellent. Lots of car parking available. Very poor evening meal selection - only about 6 choices on menue and at least 3 were not available on our 1st night. Had to walk out to find another place. Checked again for 2nd evening meal and although they had one extra choice back on it was not really good enough. Went out again!!
