Really lovely, large room. Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff. Our only concern was that the pool area had such limited seating that we weren’t able to use the pool at all. All seats were taken (only about 15 chairs) by 8:30 AM and were occupied all day.

On arrival 2 hours prior to check in we queried about dropping our bags off early and utilise the hotel facilities, in which the reception staff kindly accepted. Upon check-in to our room, our bags were already in our room and we were amazed by the layout of the room. We also made use of the valet & concierge services. The staff there were amazing with their customer service and very professional. We tried the Italian restaurant and were amazed with their customer service, everything was Italian from the waitress, chef and the music. We toured the infinity pool area which had stunning views of the city, although it can be hard to find a daybed during peak times. They had provided towels, complimentary bottled water and had a waiter present to take orders from the bar next to the pool. On check-out we were assisted by a porter to take our bags to the car from our room. When we checked, the bags were stacked perfectly in the boot and check-out process was smooth. Overall recommend staying here. Pros - Customer Service - Room Views - Services Available - Close to all things city/southbank - Valet Service Cons - Expensive restaurant for small portion of food

What we didn’t like was that the steam room and sauna were inoperable our entire stay. When we questioned the staff about an eta on repairs, they said it would be one week. “Sorry about that “. No alternative was provided. For a 5 star establishment we expected more. If a facility is not available then an alternative should be provided, not a “sorry about that”. In addition, the staff in your restaurant areas could benefit from some customer service training and service language. Experienced staff would go a long way. It feels like your establishment is run by children. What we did like was the cleanliness of the room and the elevators.

Won't be returning. Have stayed multiple times and too often the amenities are booked out but you still charge full price. Disgraceful to close both the rooftop bar and the piano bar on the same night. Complete disregard for guests. Don't reply - no need. It's farcical leadership at Emporium. There are equally good, lower priced hotels that do not regularly close off amenities. You betrayed out loyalty, so we'll take it elsewhere. Token free breakfast and bottles of champagne are little compensation when we have travelled in from Sydney just for a night at a hotel we regularly stay at. It's a leadership issue. Period.

Best hotel in Brizzy. Virtually perfect. Big comfy room and bed. Managed to get beds (just) at roof top pool with its amazing view. Good was good and service great throughout. No UsB sockets next to bed a shame. Had a room facing the railway and didn’t hear a thing. Would have slept like a baby if I’d realised I could turn the bright orange fridge light off!! WiFi but complicated to connect to unless you go to the tablet in the bedroom to get the network and password. But would definitely stay again without thinking.

Nice, centrally located hotel within easy walknig distance to restaurants, museums. Main complaint is that housekeeping services left much to be desired. Daily housekeeping service did not involve tidying or cleaning of carpet, bathroom, or services. They just made up beds and replaced towels. The TV flashed on on its own every night at around 2am, which was disruptive of sleep. The on-site restaurant for breakfast is understaffed and cuisine is underwhleming. Luckily there are plenty of breakfast options around the hotel.

The hotel is very nice all the services are very good except the room cleaning, the cleaner DID NOT clean the bathroom: bath tub, shower room , bathroom sink, toilet, even the trash drop on the floor they didn’t even pick it up, they came folding the bed, takeout the trash, that’s about all, the cleaning definitely needs to be improved. Besides that every else is very good. A good 5 star hotel.

We had a late flight so they offered a late check out with no charge and use of the hotel facilities until we left for the airport, this was all offered without asking ! The rooms and bathroom is clean and large. The rooftop terrace restaurant and pool is a bonus. Will definitely stay here again.

Some areas in the room needed cleaning. Dust on bedside table, clock radio and lamp. The surface surrounding basin in the bar area had a lot of marks from glasses. The glass and tiles in bathroom needed cleaning. There was a lot of noise from the room next door. Their door was constantly banging and at 2 am on it disrupts your sleep. Some areas of the room are well worn.

The hotel and staff are fabulous , however, the room I was in was positioned in the middle of a row of four lifts and I could hear them all night. All the “08” rooms are in this position-508,608,1208etc. If like me you have keen hearing and are easily woken, do not stay in these rooms.

The room was great, however the attempt to be sophisticated and have the TV as part of the mirror meant that it was very hard to view the TV as I could see the reflection of the other side of the room in that mirror clearer than I could see what was on the TV. On my first night I called for someone - they came but couldn’t fix and were going to get someone to look the next day. Was no evidence that this had been looked at or resolved

Booked the Pool Cabana room for $1100 a night - Such loud music outside room until late. Terrible service. Everything delayed luggage to room, no assistance to find entrance into hotel room - which is off the pool also and not at all private. Nightmare room for the cost. Overrated hotel

From the moment I arrived I was welcomed by Reception and Concierge. The Guest Relations Manager; Bobby, was an absolute gentleman. He organised my dinner reservations, had extraordinary local knowledge and nothing was ever too much of a trouble. The rooms are absolutely amazing, with luxurious pillows and bedding and the River Room view I had was stunning. The facilities are extravagant with a rooftop pool that has incredible views over the South Bank and a uniquely lavish restaurant on the 21st floor. But this restaurant is outshone by the magnificence of the Signature Restaurant on the 1st floor. The Signature Restaurant is deserving of its own review in whole. My waitress and sommelier for the evening was Andrea who was absolutely marvelous. Her knowledge of the matched wines was very good and her service and professionalism was second to none. And to add to the extraordinary experience I was humbled to meet the Restaurants Head Chef, Luca, who spoke to me about the dishes he’d prepared and his passion for cooking. The Emporium gave traditional 5-star service with extraordinary staff and modern finishes. I truly enjoyed my stay and won’t be staying anywhere else when I’m in Brisbane next.

The entire experience was flawless! We opted to Valet Park which was cheap considering local parking rates. The bags were taken from the car and although our room wasn’t ready we were given access to the Pool and Sauna. Once we actually checked in we were welcomed with a greeting card and some bubbles… they obviously read the notes about our anniversary! We went out to a concert, came back late and noticed actual turndown service with a little chocolate and water. The next morning ordered room service Benedict and was a nice snack for two and excellent coffee. Called for car and bags. Left blown away at the professionalism and genuine interest from ALL staff. We will return. So luxurious

Excellent stay at the Emporium South Bank. Room was spacious and had all the amenities I needed. I loved the rooftop pool with its amazing views. The staff is really professional and super helpful. Shoutout to Louisa (at check-in) and Nelson (at concierge area). The location is hard to beat. It’s close to everything really. And there’s a train station right next to the hotel. My favorite breakfast spot was the nearby Mi Casa cafe. I highly recommend staying there if you’re visiting Brisbane.

This is one of my favourite Hotels in Brisbane with its access to the train system, ferries, South Bank shops & restaurants and the city. The roof top bar restaurant, pool, sauna & steam room ensure a fabulous start or end to any day. Superb!! General vibe & IT feel is very good.

But this restaurant is outshone by the magnificence of the Signature Restaurant on the 1st floor. The Signature Restaurant is deserving of its own review in whole. Great hotel staff fantastic breakfast wonderful Terrace bar good view nice pool but food sub par and overpriced. Tap beer flat in not beer clean glasses at over expensive prices. If you are charging too prices one expects top quality. Nearly destroyed visit however staff and breakfast saved it.

I love this hotel. I was recuperating after surgery at Mater Hospital and it had everything I needed whilst I relaxed. The swimming pool is spectacular and so are the bars, and the Italian cuisine for dinner was truly amazing. I had the sushi platter twice in a row for lunch on the terrace and it was delicious and fresh. I can’t say enough good things.
