Have stayed a number of times over about 10 years or so - is consistently good. Staff are always friendly and helpful, food is excellent and very good local beer is available. The rooms are small but do what is needed and have always been clean. This is a proper traditional country pub and we need more of them!

Excellent room which had been newly refurbished. Super friendly and helpful staff throughout our stay. Really lovely breakfast which was piping hou and plentiful!!
