Charming efficient staff who understood 'hospitality'. The accommodation was very pleasant and well appointed. The bar was welcoming with a good range of drinks on offer. The food, although a little expensive, was excellent. I would highly recommend The Cornish Arms and will look forward to return later in the year.

Great pub with rooms in centre of Tavistock. We stayed in the Mallard suite which was beautifully appointed. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was exceptional.

The room was exceptional for the style and comfort. Was well worth the pricetag. The cooked breakfast was one of the best I have had in years if not ever! The bar area was very classy and the parking is immediately behind the hotel. If I had friends or guests coming to Tavistock, I will be definitely recommending this hotel! Will stay again for sure!

This is a fantastic place to stay, right in the town. There is parking on site which is very handy. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The food is simply amazing. We will definitely be back.

Outstanding place to stay. Food, service, beer all very good. This is a gastro pub and i believe it came second in the country recently which speaks highly of the staff and place I was very impressed with the food.

The parking is reserved for guests behind the pub and easy to access. The room we stayed in was very well decorated and clean, the bed was huge, and all the staff were super friendly. Also, the included breakfast was very well presented and great! I came down to visit some friends. Safe to say, I’ll be booking the Cornish arms for every visit.

Really lovely pub with rooms. Food was outstanding. Room really comfortable, bed cosy and bathroom well appointed. Rainforest shower head and very good water pressure. Lots of very hot water. Forgot to turn the radiator down meant we roasted overnight but that was our error. Staff were very lovely and accommodating. Pub itself very busy with a good atmosphere, but not noisy or rowdy as it’s a gastro pub. Would definitely recommend and return.

Friendly and helpful welcome. Quick checkin. Lovely room which looks like it’s had a fairly recent renovation. The breakfast service was excellent, as was the breakfast. My wife and I will stay again in the future. We would definitely recommend The Cornish Arms.

Incredible place. The food is unbelievable. The service is the same. My room was slightly on the smaller side but it was furnished beautifully and it was completely spotless. I was in the area for work but I would take a holiday to tavistock just to stay and eat here. Incredible

I think I was expecting it to be more like a hotel than a pub with rooms but thats exactly what is so maybe my bad for not reading fully. The room was decorated beautifully and was very clean. Grear matress and pillows and the toiletries were super cute. My breakfast was amazing!!!

The rooms were excellent, attention to detail and the rooms were so clean. We booked a meal on the evening of our stay which was fabulous. Every one of the staff we came knto contact with were really friendly, nothing was too much trouble. We'd definitely stay again.

We stayed for one night in the Mallard junior suite with beautiful William Holland roll top copper bath. We found the room really comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We booked dinner in the resturant and were both really impressed with the food in the evening and at breakfast too. We highly recommend staying and will be returning!

Stayed in the Stag room. Was beautifully decorated, big room and en suites. Absolutely massive bed and really comfortable. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We also had dinner in the restaurant and the food is amazing! Would highly recommend, really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

Lovely room, excellent food. However they supply earplugs for a reason. If you are a light sleeper you may suffer from the music from the nearby night club or the revellers in the street. Everything else is excellent.

Our room was comfortable and tastefully decorated if a little small and without the minibar fridge that is mentioned in room facilities. Also very noisy street outside so ask for a rear facing room. Whilst the food is delicious, £28.50 for one filet of pan fried bream served without any significant vegetables is not good value for money especially when a very small portion of chips cost £5.95! The overall attitude of the waiting staff both at dinner and breakfast was at best indifferent! Sadly other than the lady who checked us in, it seems nobody else had the ability to smile or display any welcoming traits!

Friendly and helpful welcome. Quick checkin. Lovely room which looks like it’s had a fairly recent renovation. The breakfast service was excellent, as was the breakfast. My wife and I will stay again in the future. We would definitely recommend The Cornish Arms.

Charming efficient staff who understood 'hospitality'. The accommodation was very pleasant and well appointed. The bar was welcoming with a good range of drinks on offer. The food, although a little expensive, was excellent. I would highly recommend The Cornish Arms and will look forward to return later in the year.

I think I was expecting it to be more like a hotel than a pub with rooms but thats exactly what is so maybe my bad for not reading fully. The room was decorated beautifully and was very clean. Grear matress and pillows and the toiletries were super cute. My breakfast was amazing!!!

Great pub with rooms in centre of Tavistock. We stayed in the Mallard suite which was beautifully appointed. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was exceptional.

This is a fantastic place to stay, right in the town. There is parking on site which is very handy. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The food is simply amazing. We will definitely be back.

Outstanding place to stay. Food, service, beer all very good. This is a gastro pub and i believe it came second in the country recently which speaks highly of the staff and place I was very impressed with the food.

Really lovely pub with rooms. Food was outstanding. Room really comfortable, bed cosy and bathroom well appointed. Rainforest shower head and very good water pressure. Lots of very hot water. Forgot to turn the radiator down meant we roasted overnight but that was our error. Staff were very lovely and accommodating. Pub itself very busy with a good atmosphere, but not noisy or rowdy as it’s a gastro pub. Would definitely recommend and return.

Stayed in the Stag room. Was beautifully decorated, big room and en suites. Absolutely massive bed and really comfortable. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. We also had dinner in the restaurant and the food is amazing! Would highly recommend, really enjoyed our stay, thank you!
