We thought it was a peaceful location but it was a shame it rained most of the time. Jeremy is an excellent host. We rented over Christmas and even set up a Christmas tree with lights.

We enjoyed spending time in this clean and comfortable house. It is nicely situated in the landscape with an inspirational view into a picturesque valley. Everything worked well, and the bathroom was nice, with good shower and water pressure. Although the hosts are next door, the property is self-sufficient, with access via lockbox. The information binder featuring places to eat and nearby hikes, along with oven instructions, was helpful, as were the marked trash bins. We enjoyed visiting The Angel Inn pub near Grosmont castle, one of the three easily-accessible castle ruins in the area. We climbed Skirrid Fawr, an easy hike with amazing views, and Pen Y Fan, a challenging hike with a top-of-the-world payoff.
