We stayed three nights at the property and found charging our credit card $200 as a security deposit was unnecessary. A big plus for us was the EV level two charging which was the main reason we booked our stay. The morning breakfast was actually quite good. The king size bed was very comfortable and we got a great sleep.

Parking is limited.... Friendly staff. Rooms and beds were one of the nicest I've been in. Stayed to 2 night.

The hotel is next to a highway, and traffic noise (at least on the highway side) was high. The breakfast was typical “free breakfast” fare. There is a gym which is a little above average, in my experience.

Was disappointed to see that the EV chargers are no longer free. Lobby bathroom was very dirty.

Great staff, really nice facility. Everything was perfect except the EV charging is wildly overpriced: it provides about $0.25 of electricity per hour but costs $2.50 per hour to use.

Clean and friendly staff

I stayed there a couple of times, like the area around it. The property is kept clean. May be they can do more to clean floors and corners.

Clean hotel, my room was clean ; friendly staff The edifice is kind of new, so no much maintenance is needed.

I had a short stay, but it was simple and easy. Hotel is modern, clean and practical. I had to leave early, so didn't have a chance to try the breakfast, but everything went smoothly.

What a pretty hotel. The decor is fresh and colourful. Everything was super clean. The host who welcomed us was very helpful. Upon checking in I saw that we were on the top floor (3rd) so I asked him if there was any way he could move us to the first floor as I was not a fan of elevators. He was kind enough to rearrange a few rooms around so I could have our room on the first floor. His effort and understanding was much appreciated! We ended up in room 128. There is coffee and tea available in the main room/cafeteria all through the night which was nice. This hotel offers breakfast in the morning. They had the usual options which all looked good. The coffee was great! Our room was spacious and also very clean. This room has two queen beds. The beds were quite comfortable and each came with SIX pillows! That was awesome - you’re sure to find one that suits your mood. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers. The room came with a small fridge, iron, and blow dryer. There is lots of parking surrounding the hotel. This hotel is just off the highway but is located in a quiet neighbourhood. There is a nice park and trail just across the street. The location was great - specially if you’re going to the Canadian Tire Centre as it’s only a few minutes away by car. The value was right on point for this hotel - we’d come back for sure.

There was a snow fall of approx. 4” overnight. I went out to take the snow off the vehicle and could barely open the door to get out. They did not shovel the doorways or walkways ( this was at 9am in the morning) so plenty of time to shovel before checkout. I asked the front desk person (Siddarth) if someone can shovel the front entrance way so that my husband (that has a hard time walking) and just had surgery can actually get to the vehicle when I pick him up at the front door. Siddarth said that he couldn’t since he was working alone and could not leave the front desk. Everyone knew this snowfall was coming, they could have been more prepared. The breakfast was cold and did not taste very good. The room was not very clean, the bottom of the shower door was very dirty, the protective strip was dragging half off and had some mold buildup. There was hair hanging off one of the lamp shade when we entered the room to settle in. Not impressed at all.

Hotel was extremely clean which I was impressed with. Plenty of towels and pillows which added to the comfort.

I am still waiting on my refund as we showed the staff videos as well that we had begs bugs in our room. Absolutely unacceptable

Be sure to request rooms facing residential street and not the 417 North side rooms very noisy due to 417 traffic

Nice service upon check in and out. Shower pressure wasn’t great and we could hear people running above us so sound proofing could be better. Clean and quiet, otherwise. Nice place and reasonable rate.

Not their fault vut it was so so load with cars on the highway. Maybe better soundproof windows. Otherwise perfect

Enjoy a room facing the neighborhood instead of the highway

Room was a great size. Beds comfortable. The sliding bathroom door was not great as you had to really pull at the door for it to slide all the for privacy. The breakfast had so many food options. Staff were quick to top up anything that was running low. My big question was why all the disposable dishes? So much garbage. Even the waffle maker required you to waste a cup. Half of the dishes were plastic; at least use paper products. Our room did not have any recycle bins so we took our recycling home. This was just a quick getaway so we didn’t mind but if it had been a long trip it would have been difficult.

Love the white noise machine

When we first got to this property I was worried about the noise from the highway . I am a very light sleeper . I slept through the whole night ! There were a lot of people in the lobby on arrival who were loud . The man checking me in explained there were some teams staying at the hotel , and if I found them to be loud near my room to just let him know . I didn’t hear any of them throughout the night though . The man checking me in, as well as the other man checking me out were both nice . I would absolutely stay here again. The room was spacious . The bed was very comfortable .

The rooms were comfortable and clean but the water pressure was lacking.

The pillows were awful and the heating/cooling system loud. One minute it was too hot and then when we turned it down we froze

Had to unplug the fridge since noisy but everything else was very nice. Comfortable bed and nice breakfast.

Great hotel, great staff

Was refused an earlier check in to dress for a wedding and was refused. Wake-up message at 8:00am to complete a review of our stay! Comfortable bed and cleanliness.

Terrible staff

The staff were not friendly at all. They didn\'t thank me at checkin, barely said anything to me at all. At checkout, they again didn\'t thank me for staying with them. I had asked for a one hour delay the day before and was told it wouldn\'t be a problem but on the day of checkout, all I was "not a chance". Had a horrible experience.

Front desk staff were less than friendly. They weren’t rude per se, but they definitely weren’t even trying to be friendly. I was staying for 4 nights. I woke up around 4AM and noticed the smoke detector in the room was blinking red every 10 or so seconds. I tried calling down to the front desk at least 10 times with no answer. Then I called the hotel from my cell phone thinking maybe my room phone wasn’t working… and no answer. So I turned to Google and after an exhausting search, I discovered that the blinking red light means a history alert that the detector had recently gone off…so I was able to go back to sleep without worry there was CO leaking into the room. When I approached the front desk about it the next day and asked why no one was working through the night, they said yes…we were here (they weren’t). He wrote it in a notebook and then I never heard another thing about it. Spoiler- it didn’t get fixed. Then on my 3rd day, I wasn’t feeling well and ordered a Starbucks from Uber Eats. The front desk wouldn’t allow the driver to bring it up to my room. I’ve never ever heard of this before! So I had to get dressed and come down. My every interaction with the staff was one of apathy and just simply the feeling of them not giving a sh*t. I wasn’t looking for white glove service, but simple courtesy or even an apology for the smoke detector drama would have been appreciated. The hotel itself seems new, beds are comfortable and clean. If only they had better trained staff

The young gentlemen who checked us in on Thursday was very professional. He helped order an Uber, and recommended places to have dinner. Friday morning I was late to breakfast and a gentlemen went out of his way to get me a bagel and yogurt. Great experience, would highly recommend GLO.

The reception charged my MasterCard $200 as security upon check-in. Upon checkout with no outstanding balances, the receptionist told me that all was paid and the $200 deposit had been cancelled. Yet my MasterCard account still shows a pending $200 charge. This is not acceptable and needs to be rectified ASAP.

The Breakfast was ready and open before we checked out at 6am. All the staff that I felt with were all awesome. They all went above and beyond everything that we asked for. Will definitely be back

Good location, quiet.

All staff were polite and helpfull. Property and rooms clean and well maintain. The location is easy access to the main highway 417 which is good and not far from the Bell center which was good for us Without exploring much, the location seems to be away from main services and restaurant choice which was the weak points for me (if walking) Overall I was very satified and would reffer this Hotel

Great spot for a Sens Hockey game. We had the back side of hotel/ residential side which was quiet.

Great location / walking distance from restaurants, shopping and the Canadian Tire Centre. Welcoming staff with a great breakfast (especially the coffee machine). Will be back!

My go to location for a quick business trip on the west end of Ottawa

It did the trick for the one night, but the hotel was just off the highway so traffic was loud and nothing close to the hotel for food, stores, etc. Staff were okay and amenities were okay.

Convenient spot for a Canadian Tire Centre concert.

Hotel was clean, quiet, has comfortable beds, a very nice stay and close to shopping, dining and easy to locate.

A nice hotel 25 minutes from downtown Ottawa.

Fairly close to the CTC for a concert. Front desk called a cab for us. Clean. A little noisy as it is beside highway 417 but did not keep us awake. It is in a quiet neighborhood seemed safe.

It’s a newer hotel so that’s a plus. The breakfast was not as advertised. The ‘full hot breakfast’ consisted of scrambled eggs, sausages and potatoes. Otherwise, it was a very limited selection of cereal and bread products. It’s located in a residential neighborhood, no restaurants nearby except for Tommy’s which is overpriced for bland food and poor service. If not facing a row of houses, you’ll be facing a busy and noisy highway. There is nothing special about the place and I feel like it wasn’t worth the $600 for 2 nights. Probably won’t stay there again.

The property and the room were very clean. Beds very comfortable with luxuries sheets. The breakfast was not great though. There were no healthier options and the selection was not great. We would like a better variety of fruit and non dairy milk or oatmeal. We did not like the paper plates and cups.

Very nice hotel. Only one bad side the breakfast was just ok. Eggs were cold, sausages were cooked too much, they were hard to chew.

At the time of my arrival the parking area was clean and easy to locate close to the front entrance so it was easy to bring my stuff in. The clerk at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very dry and the tables were not cleaned after use by guests
