My worst experience out of more than 30 hotels in Europe: terrible staff, a broken toilet—waited over two hours for someone to fix it, and they left it worse than before—and I didn't get to sleep until after midnight. The air conditioning was turned off because, according to the staff member, you don't need AC in the autumn. I do not recommend this place at all!

Great breakfast and comfortable room. My only criticism would be the shower in the bathroom was very small and had no door so water flooded the bathroom.

There was no warm welcome whatsoever — not even a simple “Welcome to Hotel Mastino” or “Welcome to Verona, We had booked a suite after seeing the very appealing photos on the hotel’s website. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed when we opened the door. The room looked nothing like the impression created by the photographs. The fancy pillows and throws shown in the pictures were nowhere to be seen, and what we actually got was a very basic room costing over £205 per night. In our opinion, the website photographs are heavily staged and give a misleading impression of what guests can expect. One photograph shows the television, but conveniently doesn’t show that only one person lying in the bed can actually see it. The room is L-shaped. Interestingly, when speaking to other guests at breakfast, They too felt their rooms were'stage' too Our room - A tiny wardrobe with a few hangers. A table with two chairs whose backs were so uncomfortabl Only a sheet on the bed — no duvet /blankets. Noisy air conditioning at night like a washing machine. No complimentary bottle of water The safe was mounted far too high on the wall and we had to stand on a chair Noisy building work directly above us from 8:00am - not pre warned Breakfast was acceptable but no English Breakfast Tea. The breakfast room too small squeezing between other guests. The hotel was 100% clean, and the location was 100%. And finally, as we checked out there was no ' hope you have enjoyed your stay'
