Can’t say enough positive about this place. Room was clean and cozy. Owner clearly cares about keeping it nice for visitors. We ate in the kitchen for a low key vibe and it was nicely stocked. Location is perfect and central to everything. Would not hesitate to stay here again in the future.

I wasn’t sure about sharing bathrooms but it was no problem. It was nice to have a kitchen. Wet cooked up steak and eggs for breakfast. The location is prime too. Nice place

High winds at sea delayed our ferry, so our overall trip to Vestmann Island was cut short, but we made the most of our time. Lava Guesthouse was very centrally located and wonderfully clean and comfortable. The bathroom, in particular, was quite nice, and the kitchen facilities were an added plus. I wish we could have stayed much longer!
