Super clean, staff incredibly friendly and professional, workout room had new equipment, the breakfast area was nice and food was good. The manager serving breakfast was extremely polite and wanted to be sure we had everything we needed. Great place!

Great place to stay for a few days. Bonita at the front desk was awesome, accomodating our request for extra pillows and towels. Room and property very clean. Saltwater pool-bonus! Highly recommend for travellers.

The room was disgusting. There was feces in the bathroom flooe I had to clean before our daughters ended up stepping in it. One of the remotes didn’t work. The hair dryer didn’t work. She sheets were dingy.

Its a nice modern looking hotel. The front desk staff is nice and friendly. The breakfast was good. However housekeeping wasn't so great. They left a dirty was cloth hanging on the shower curtain. They left an open bag of coffee in the room. The privacy to the rooms are very disturbing. The walls are very thin. I could hear the guess next do clear his throat. I heard him everytime he cough and I also heard his entire phone conversation and a I actually had the TV on

Great property, clean hotel, friendly staff. Only problem, they put me in a room on the first floor that shared a wall with the kitchen. When staff started preparing breakfast for hotel guests at 5:30 am, the sounds were loud coming from next door which kept me up so did not get a food nights rest. IMO, design flaw by Marriott.

I had an issue with our first room. There was a leak. We were immediately moved to another room with no issue. The rooms are very nice, spacious & cozy. There are also many dining and retail options within walking distance.

This was a nice hotel. Very clean. Very friendly sraff. The continental breakfast was lacking. So many things were out by 9am. The hot water for tea tasted like coffee. The air conditioner in the room was confusing...cool air but the room was humid. It was uncomfortable, even with temp down to 68 degrees.

Room wouldn’t cool below 72, bed was hard and pillows, like most hotels, were terrible. I rarely give a bad review, but my whole body hurts from the sleeping one night in this bed. On the upside, room was clean and spacious, staff was friendly and having two big televisions was nice.

Fairfield Tyler had the most welcoming environment. Lovely Staff! The hotel was clean and safe. The water in the lobby was appreciated. I would definitely stay there again.

I reserved a King Suite, king bed and sofa with a double bed fold out. I prepaid for the room when I reserved it. Upon my 7:00pm arrival I was informed my room had been given to someone else and the only room they had left for me was a King room, just a king bed, no sofa with double bed fold out. Although the clerk was apologetic, and claimed he had not made that change, insisting it had been done prior to his shift, he was not able to correct the situation. We had to have our oldest grandson sleep in another room with his baseball friend’s family, while we shared a king bed with two 7yr old grandchildren. Not okay to change a prepaid reservation!

The staff here is terrific. We have stayed at most of the similar hotels in the area but return to this one because of the staff. The only glitch this time was that Housekeeping didn't service the room on the second day as we requested and they didn't empty our overflowing trash can when they did service the room. All else was great.

I reserved and paid for a handicap accessible room with a roll in shower. The next day I received an email that stated that room was not available and would it be alright to put me in a handicap accessible room with walk in shower. I emailed back that it would be okay and we could make it work. I checked into the hotel late in evening, get to the room, and there was a very small bathtub (not even walk in shower). It was very late and my husband was schedule to be at hospital at 5 am for surgery so I didn’t have time or energy to argue and try to change rooms. Very disappointing.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were extremely comfortable. We've finally found our place to stay when we come to Tyler to visit family. I highly recommend it!

Exceptional stay. My husband and I frequently go on short trips. One or two nights generally, and we stay in lots of hotels in this price range. We stayed one night and everything, from check-in to check-out was perfect. Clean, quiet, great water pressure, etc. The complementary breakfast was above and beyond the usual, and we were genuinely impressed. I wish I could remember the kind customer service representative that checked us in AND out but I’m old. She was very friendly and made us feel welcome. When we pass through Tyler again, we’ll definitely stay here!!!
