The location of the property was a huge bonus. Easily reachable by a short walk from the station, there is also a car park a 2 min walk away. Staff were always friendly and helpful. The property is also within the old town of Arles which is incredibly quaint and old. The restaurant attached has seating indoors and outdoors with food all day.

Cheap futon “couch” in room- they should invest in a real couch or chairs. Hot water in shower was luke warm. Slider Door to bathroom - no privacy. Weird hallways and old tile floors… some chipped. No lift. I never should have selected this hotel. Served a stale glass of wine…for night cap.

Excellent location just inside the roman gate. Parking was easy just outside the gate. Walking distance to everything. Our room was way beyond expectations as it looked to be recently renovated. The hotel and cafe staff were extremely nice and helpful. We will stay here again.

I absolutely loved my stay here! The staff were incredibly friendly! The room was charming with wonderful linens, shower, views…. I would love to stay here again. The only thing to note is that the property does not have parking. The €10 parking that Expedia references is public city parking. There’s no guarantee to get a space when you arrive.

Good location. When arrival I was confused a little bit since the road to the inner city was blocked for construction work. But the free parking just outside the walls are close enough, so only a 1 min walk. Hotel condition was good. Brunch seems not much to choose from so skip that.

This hotel is conveniently located within the walled old town of Arles. It is located in and above a restaurant near one of the main gates of the old city a short walk from the ancient Roman arena. It is close to many restaurants and great shopping and near the wonderful market held in Arles on Wednesdays. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small, but in great condition and newly renovated. The restaurant associated with the hotel even had a vegan platter for dinner.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel in Arles. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and were always ready to assist with a smile. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated with a touch of Provençal charm. The location couldn’t have been better, right in the heart of Arles, making it easy to explore the town’s historic sites and charming streets. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. I can recommend this hotel enough! The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. I love the tile floors, it makes things much cleaner. They provide room service every day to tidy up. The sink is huge, there are nice mirrors, hangers are supplied. There is a TV but we haven't used it. We have a bathtub as well as a shower. They upgraded us to a bigger room with a king sized bed. The beds are a little firm, I've found that to be the generally the case in Europe, but they have plenty of nice big pillows. The sheets, pillowcases seem to be made of linen or linen/cotton.

Breakfast offered by hotel was terrible — the pastries were not fresh and we had a fruit salad that was small, with only watermelon and apples and both were overripe. Location is noisy as large tourist groups walk by each morning to see Arles, and there are bars around open until late at night. Expedia needs to clarify that free parking is available at the nearby train station it is not something the hotel offers or Guay.

Comfortable friendly set of rooms above a restaurant a short distance from both the railway station and the historic town centre. Very small room with no space for anything other than the (comfortable) bed, so the advertised four stars must be a bit of a stretch of the definition.

We stayed 3 nights. The AC broke the first night. There was no sincere effort to fix it - 'just open a window, it cools down' was the response. The mosquitos enjoyed the results. Supposedly a 4 star hotel. Also, very 'chic' linen sheets and pillow slips - which were very scratchy and uncomfortable.

Very accomodating to our early arrival. Nice room and great shower. Only complaint we had was the scratching linens and awkward bed pillows, which effected our sleep. Also after returning to hotel at 10:30PM, we had to ring the bell for several minutes before someone let us in so we could return to our room. Great location, restaurant was very good also.

We came into Arles and our hotel being fairly sick. The front desk operator, Charlotte, actually sat down with me and arranged a doctor appointment. The clinic required online registration and appointments. When she found that our US phone number did not fit, she substituted her own cell and then sent clinic updates to me through email. A lifesaver! Room was very nice and an added bonus was both a tub and shower. Breakfast was typical and could have used a few additional choice, but what the heck. Hotel was very clean.

We spent four nights with our family of four. The location in Arles was perfect. Easy parking and less than five minute walk to the hotel. The staff was amazing, especially the evening service staff at the restaurant. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Our stay here helped make our trip to Arles a wonderful experience. We had an amazing stay at Maison Volver. The room was cosy, cute and clean. The staff made our stay exquisite. They are doing their utmost to accommodate your needs and they deliver. I had to stay longer in the room for work calls and they allowed me to stay. Stretching outside their usual timings ( thank you). And they found me a table next to a socket for the rest of the afternoon ( thank you very much). I recommend Maison Volver and will book it again.

Un excellente attention du personnel de l'hôtel et du restaurant. Nous avons été surclassés, chambre agréable, jolie décoration bohème/chic, rien ne manquait, tout fonctionnait parfaitement. L'hôtel a été refait il y a 5 ans, avec une déco très bien pensée, de belles harmonies de couleurs et de matériaux. Environnement très calme, literie excellente. Brunch délicieux avec service très attentionné. Prix très raisonnables. BRAVO

We gave the hotel 3 stars as a balance between positives and negatives. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful; the room was kept very clean; the bathroom was good and the shower excellent; the air conditioning struggled valiantly in the heatwave; the central location was helpful; and our room at the back of the hotel was very quiet; although there was no private parking, there was ample public parking close by at a reasonable price, circa 10 euros per day/night. We did not happen to use the restaurant in the evenings but it was doing good business in a competitive environment, which speaks well for it. On the negative side, the room was absurdly small with barely enough space to move around the bed and minimal storage (certainly not worthy of a four-star hotel); the "shabby chic" look involved trashy, dysfunctional furniture (e.g., a bedside lamp too dim to read by); the sheets were uncomfortably rough-textured and unsuitable for hot weather; breakfast was skimpy and overpriced for what was allowed by the hotel's rationing.
