It was very unclean, dirty sheets, floor dirty and cob webs everywhere. We were made to feel like we were not ment to use the laundry. I had my laundry in the dryer they were taken out before the cyclestill damp ( i paid to use it) so she could dry the camps sheets (the hostess). She was not inviting and very snobby. I guess your getting what you paid for. Will never return.

This was really good value for money. The cabin was clean and well equipped. Not too far from Christchurch. The communal kitchen needs more utensils. No forks were available. Also no dishcloths to dry the washed dishes.

We had a pleasant time here. Our cabin was very hot during the day and cool during the night. The shared facilities are a cool place to meet different types of people. The common areas have a very 1990s to early 2000s feel which is great, a bit of an era I miss dearly ☺️ This place was great for me, my wife and our 10 month old child. The park is a wee bit overgrown in places however it is very clean and free of litter and the facilities are tidy and free of bad smells and grime. The residents who were across from us were lovely and welcoming and the lady had some stories to tell. I would recommend this place based on my experience here over a 2 night stay.

The tent area we stayed in was fine. A bit disorganized around the cabins, but comfortable enough. We mived after one night to unit 3, which smelled strongly of mold. It was clean and comfortable enough, except for the very strong smell. The price was good and we felt safe, but I don’t think I would come back.

Nice lady at check in, sheets were not changed and the room was not clean when we arrived. Apparently the cleaning lady had already gone home and I believe the lady that checked us in cleaned the room and changed the bed. Our cabin was nice but the overall property is kinda run down and rough.

very clean cabin and friendly, helpful owner, plenty of utensils etc. in the kitchen and a carton of milk in fridge for tea and coffee. The feeling of the cabin is very traditional Kiwi, bathroom could do with a little updating but everything worked well to give us a good shower and was very clean. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Great value for money. Quiet, warm and tidy. Unfortunately the bathroom window was open on our arrival and some leaves and dust had blown in with the recent high winds, also noticed the smoke alarm has been taken down and had no battery in it.

The tent area we stayed in was fine. A bit disorganized around the cabins, but comfortable enough. We mived after one night to unit 3, which smelled strongly of mold. Our room was large with plenty of cooking options it was great. The camp was very quiet. Our Unit was extremely hard to unlock as the lock is too close to the aluminium frame.

This was a quiet place to stay for the night which was great. I expected there to be linen on the beds already, but we’d brought sleeping bags with us just in case, and admittedly we did arrive early to collect our key before going to our event. We had to wait quite a while in reception as it wasn’t manned and no one came when we rang the bell, so we telephoned. When the manager arrived, he was rude about my costume I was wearing for the event. Not a great start.
