This property was amazing to stay at. We loved the contactless feature which allowed us to check in and out quickly and easily. The room was very clean and we loved our private deck. The breakfast was wonderful, there was an abundance of food to eat/choose from. We also loved the personal touch of the cute signs that greeted us, it felt very welcoming. We highly recommend this place to stay in and we will be staying again if we come back to the area.

Wow is the first word that came to mind when we walked through the front door. What an amazing place - so cosy, large, clean, immaculate, superb decor, friendly owner who responds to communication super quick, great location for an "on the way home" stop to recharge the batteries, huge bedroom, delicious and ample choices for the free breakfast, cosy seating in the main lounge, large kitchen with all you need, beautiful bathroom with huge bath and corner walk-in shower. I can't say enough - but for sure, we will be back if we ever need to stop in between home and Auckland. Did not get a chance to use the spa (arrived late) but another luxury at this beautiful place. I almost didn't want to write this - hate to have it seen by too many people who might then book this place out when we need it again! Thank you Robert - this accommodation is a credit to you. Very clean and welcoming. Adorable and sensible tiny homes. Fridge and cupboards stocked for breakfast with fresh fruit, eggs, bread, yogurt… walk to the fence and pet the sweet cow. Sat in the hot tub and sipped some cab. We were genuinely sad to leave! Thank you!!

Heaven’s Rest certainly lives up to its name! We booked one night as we passed through the area and were delightfully surprised to find this gem. The grounds are gorgeous and the accommodations elegant and very well stocked, the bed very comfortable. We stayed in the two bedroom cabin, Kiwi Cabin. We appreciated the foods left for us for our breakfast, bread, spreads, cereal, oats, milk, juice… Another appreciated feature is the picnic table on our deck. It overlooked the paddock, where we got to visit with 2 goats, a cow and several hens. We unfortunately didn’t get to meet our hosts, which saddened us. We would have liked to tell them in person how pleased we were with our short stay. We would most definitely go back!

Our second stay at this fabulous property which is set in secluded grounds and surrounded by farmland. This time we stayed in the Kakapo wing, with its large bedroom, dressing room and bathroom with shower and bath. Very clean throughout, and the bed is large and comfortable. Breakfast is a "help yourself" in the lovely lounge/kitchen with areas in the fridge dedicated to each of the rooms. Large choice of cereals, bread, yoghurt, fresh orange juice and various fruits. The rooms overlook a paddock with a cow and a couple of goats.

This place honored its name fully... its trully a restful place like send from heaven. My husband and I stayed there for two days at the beginning of our NZ trip and we have been saying how its been the best place. It was spotless, the breakfast was good and very quiet. I highly recommend 👌

Absolutely stunning location. Excellent accommodation facilities and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. My kids loved the open space and the goats and cow. Very clean, comfortable beds and they provide plenty of breakfast options. Great dining options near by too. Highly recommend!

This is an outstanding place to stay. Our room was very spacious and extremely clean. Fantastic rural location even though it's only 2 minute's drive from the Interstate. Delicious continental breakfast with a good choice of cereals, bread, yoghurt, juice, fruits, jams, marmalade and savoury spreads. We would loved to have stayed another night, hopefully on our next trip to New Zealand. Thank you Robert.

Great little spot about 30mins from Auckland Airport. We just stayed the one night on our way back from Rotorua but would have loved to spend more time here. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine and talking to the goats was heaven! Bed was super comfy and the suite we stayed in was very spacious. A simple breakfast was provided and ahead all we wanted for an early start. There is some highway traffic noise but still very peaceful in the evening when we got back from dinner.

Small cozy cabin, as it was just my wife and I, so we booked one that made sense. Nice location, clean, farm fresh eggs were delicious, about 35 mins from downtown Auckland and airport depending on traffic! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we came back to the area!!

Nicely setup 2 bedrooms on a wing of the main house that could comfortably sleep 5 in 3 beds. Good setup for bedrooms plus room with shower & tub and separate room with toilet & sink. Access to nicely setup main house kitchen and living space. Owner communicates well and left some drinks for us in the fridge at self checkin. Nice continental breakfast to serve ourselves and opportunity to make your own eggs in the morning. We were only there for 1 night but would make a nice family friendly place if traveling with family for longer. On a farm road but convenient to highway exit.

Wow is the first word that came to mind when we walked through the front door. What an amazing place - so cosy, large, clean, immaculate, superb decor, friendly owner who responds to communication super quick, great location for an "on the way home" stop to recharge the batteries, huge bedroom, delicious and ample choices for the free breakfast, cosy seating in the main lounge, large kitchen with all you need, beautiful bathroom with huge bath and corner walk-in shower. I can't say enough - but for sure, we will be back if we ever need to stop in between home and Auckland. Did not get a chance to use the spa (arrived late) but another luxury at this beautiful place. I almost didn't want to write this - hate to have it seen by too many people who might then book this place out when we need it again! Thank you Robert - this accommodation is a credit to you. Thank you and so amazing! A treasure we will never forget.

AMAZING PROPERTY! My cousin and I had been expecting a place to sleep but instead got a beautiful and tranquil place to spend the entire evening. After 2 weeks in NZ we both agreed this was by far the best place we had stayed. The check in was easy, the hosts were awesome in that they provided a website with facts about the property, town/restaurants, and surrounding area. I cannot express how much I want to return. We had a fabulous stay here. The hosts were very welcoming and the units are fabulous. The cupboards were very generously stocked for our breakfast, and we loved the fact that we had a cow and two goats who were just over the fence. We are definitely coming back. Loved it here! Thank you!

From booking to arriving to completing our stay everything was easy and really well done. Robert is lovely and greeted us on our arrival and showed us around. The room was well appointed and the bath robes were a nice touch even though we didn't use them. Breakfast was amazing. Opening the curtains to see the goat, chickens and cows was lovely. So nice and really felt welcome. Highly recommend and this will be a place I will try to book again when travelling to Auckland.

Great little spot about 30mins from Auckland Airport. We just stayed the one night on our way back from Rotorua but would have loved to spend more time here. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine and talking to the goats was heaven! Bed was super comfy and the suite we stayed in was very spacious. A simple breakfast was provided and ahead all we wanted for an early start. There is some highway traffic noise but still very peaceful in the evening when we got back from dinner.

This property was fabulous!!! The area suited us perfectly for where we needed to be. A short drive to Pukekoe for shopping. The breakfast was generous with option to cook or have continental. We loved the quietness and the convenience to the motorway. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Small cozy cabin, as it was just my wife and I, so we booked one that made sense. Nice location, clean, farm fresh eggs were delicious, about 35 mins from downtown Auckland and airport depending on traffic! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again if we came back to the area!!

This time we stayed in the Kakapo wing, with its large bedroom, dressing room and bathroom with shower and bath. Very clean throughout, and the bed is large and comfortable. Breakfast is a "help yourself" in the lovely lounge/kitchen with areas in the fridge dedicated to each of the rooms. Large choice of cereals, bread, yoghurt, fresh orange juice and various fruits. Great last minute stop. Made the reservation same night about an hour before arrival and everything was set up. Milk, eggs, jams, butter, coffee and biscuits were ready for self service breakfast. Nice location, very quiet. May stop back in on our way back not later this month

This is an outstanding place to stay. Our room was very spacious and extremely clean. Fantastic rural location even though it's only 2 minute's drive from the Interstate. Delicious continental breakfast with a good choice of cereals, bread, yoghurt, juice, fruits, jams, marmalade and savoury spreads. We would loved to have stayed another night, hopefully on our next trip to New Zealand. Thank you Robert.

Absolutely stunning location. Excellent accommodation facilities and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. My kids loved the open space and the goats and cow. Very clean, comfortable beds and they provide plenty of breakfast options. Great dining options near by too. Highly recommend!

The whole experience was amazing, just off the beaten track (motorway) the property has a certain feel about it that just relaxes you and makes you feel welcome. Beautiful clean rooms , with everything you could possibly need . The hosts welcomed us and then left us to enjoy our stay. Highly recommend !
