Stayed 1 night

We booked a room (apartment ) for one night on our way through town headed to Isle of Skye- we checked in staff was very friendly and polite but let us know our place was offsite at a different building up the road. The room looked nothing like what we saw advertised as their modern fresh looking rooms we saw on line. Place was extremely dated and worn out/ windows had been left open to bring fresh air in and the musty smell out …temporarily. Sadly we did not spend the night there- took us until 9pm to find a place that could accommodate our small family- we asked for a refund in the am with proof (receipt ) we stayed elsewhere but was informed the receptionist had no authority to do so- wish better luck on the next guest.

We would’ve loved a bath but that’s just personal preference. Parking was good as we had spaces outside our apartment. Rooms were clean. Shower was pretty weak pressure wise which wasn’t ideal but the shower area itself was a big area.

Rooms were clean, staffwas courteous enough. The location of hotel is very convenient to reach places and also for food. The hotel is on high street and boat rides are just across the road. There is limited parking infront of hotel. Down sides are on-going construction which make sit a bit noisy during day and also dusty. The suites were behind the main bulding without any lifts, so we had to carry our luggage upstairs without any help from staff. The rooms deco was good. Two downsides were the power shower has very poor pressure and they should consider upgrading the electric shower to one with pumps. Other down side was that the sofa bed was very uncomfortable due to springs from mattress would abutt against the body. Property should consider upgrading that as well. The hot breakfast has only one option for vegetarians and should provide more options for £12 charged. All in all, it was a bittersweet experience. I hope in new ongoing construction work, property will consider some of the suggestions. When we go next time to Fort williams, i will shortlist this place as one of the options but would go for some other if available.
