The pool is amazing here. Depending on weather, there is outdoor hot tubs and splash pool, indoor you can swim (short) laps. View from pool is amazing, and was even open in evening with views of nighttime city lights. Hotel rooms are huge for Japan, very clean and good amenities. Also, there is a nice bar, also with city views. The entire hotel is on top of a building and is on floors 20 (lobby) to 27- so every room has a view! Service at front desk phenomenal too, we’re happy to arrange a taxi for me to the cruise terminal. If you get the breakfast-also fantastic with lots of Japanese and western options…

It’s a walk to figure out the entry- then your check in starts at the 20th floor. ;) the pool is open 1500-2100. And it’s only like 2ft tall outside, it’s a cool vibe though. Breakfast pretty awesome for about $23 a person. Rooms are clean, spacious and the location is great. Make sure u plan your day and route so u don’t waste time in train stations getting around is a mind game for new travelers to Japan.

This is a great hotel, centrally located. It has three different shopping malls right next to it, a great breakfast buffett, and with in a short walk from two different train stations. The bed is extremely comfortable, the shower and tub very nice and the pool has a great view. I highly recommend for couples and family's. If traveling with children there is an amusement park next to the hotel.

Sleek, immaculately clean high-floor hotel with beautiful modern rooms. Amazing views toward Fuji from the rooms and outside lounge. Fantastic quality bath/shower, and the usual funky Japanese toilet. The hotel is somewhat hidden within an office building, and like all except the most exclusive dozen 5-star hotels around Tokyo, it's still somewhat geared more towards the domestic "salaryman" rather than international visitors - only Japanese language channels on the TV, etc, and perhaps only 50% of the reception staff particularly fluent in English. Cons: Pointlessly small outside pool (which exists only to tick a box it seems). Ok fitness room but 10kg max dumbbells is silly (more a place for stretching!). Overall, highly recommended, and can be great value compared to cental Tokyo. It has to be said there's a limited number of things to see and do in Yokohama other than shopping and restaurants really - day trip into Kamakura is the main draw, but it's only 20mins or so direct to Shibuya in Tokyo as well.

Very lovely property with gorgeous views of Yokohama Bay. The guest room was a nice size. The staff are courteous and efficient. There are plenty of food and beverage choices nearby, along with convenience stores. The walk from the Sakuragicho station is easy, and mostly covered, on an elevated pedestrian walkway. The fitness room has terrific views and a good set of equipment. The pools are small, and for relaxing, not lap swimming. The jacuzzis are outdoors and offer lovely views as well.

Solid 4/5 rating, with the positives for excellent customer service, eco-friendly amenities in the room such as no single-use shampoo and conditioner, convenient location within 5 min walk to Minatomirai station, ability to have facility hold luggage, and beautiful property. We booked a room with a microwave and laundry (super convenient with a child!!), though we wished for a bigger room. One of the cabinet doors broke off upon arrival into the room, which had almost landed on my daughter, but the staff addressed the issue right away. There were room amenities such as razors, toothbrushes, and others in the lobby area to help yourself. Room cleanliness was not the best, but we made best of the situation given our short stay. Given the location and service, I would consider another stay here in the near future, with hopes these improvements surrounding cleaner rooms and sturdier cabinet doors are made for safety.

Property was very fancy, and welcoming upon arrival. Check in was fast, efficient, conducted in English. Hotel was ideally located, short walk from Sakuragicho, accessible by skywalk with free chocolate on arrival. Complimentary water was given every day which was well received. Room was very nice, with beautiful views of the city and Mt Fuji. The bath was very deep and and so accommodated me at 6ft 1 which was greatly appreciated. Bed was comfy and provided western soft pillows which was great. Unfortunately, the room hadn’t been cleaned to the high standard I expected based on the decor and reputation of Mitsui Garden. Numerous long black hairs were present throughout the room and bathroom upon arrival which was a shame. Breakfast buffet was phenomenal, with a lot on offer. Only thing missing was dried fruit to accompany yoghurt and granola. Unfortunately I was unable to take full advantage of the hotels facilities. The pool and gym closed by 10pm with last entry being before that (9.30). The hotel bar indicated that last order was 10.30pm but when I sat down at 10.13pm, I was told last orders had already been called. I was surprised a hotel such as Mitsui Garden would have such early closures for amenities, especially for the bar and gym which would typically be open until late or 24 Hour.

Excellent service, helpful and cheerful! but we likely get the worst room in the building with a big pillar in the room, odd layout and very tight spot around the queen size bed. The room should be reserved for single traveller. Wonder if l was assigned a bad room because l booked through Expedia?

The place is clean and the rooms are comfortable. However, I found the hotel disappointing. First of all I had to pay for the day when I arrived. And every time I purchased a breakfast or any other item, it needed to be paid upfront. As opposed to charging things to the room and then just settling your final bill on checkout, which is what most hotels do. They have your credit card on file so I’m not really sure why they are charging upfront for everything. In addition, the front desk staff need to improve their English. Instead of being able to communicate English, they usually have to go back to the manager’s office behind the desk and get an explanation writing. Each room should have a Nespresso machine. A coffee maker is standard and should not be only for suites. Finally, the gym should be open 24 hours or at least as of 5 AM. 6 AM is too late and if you are travelling from North America and are jet lagged, you may want to use the gym at odd hours.

Check in was awkward. First they could not find our reservation then they could not offer us a room because we were early. After walking around for 3 hours, we stopped by to ask if we could check in and they said it would be more money for early check in. Their English is minimal and they don't have enough language skills to explain leaving a lot to be assumed. Makes a 5 star hotel feel like a 3 star.

まず外から部屋に行くのにエレベーターを乗り継ぎしないといけなく、フロントを通らないといけないのが面倒な造り。事前チェックインがネットでできなかったので並んで人に対応してもらいたかったのに、機械に誘導され、やはりできなかった。その間に別の人が対応に誘導されたので、また並ばなきゃいけない対応にイライラし、初っ端からマイナス。朝食も楽しみにしていたが、スタッフがなんの説明もなしに席に誘導しただけ。他の人には説明をされていたので人を選んでの対応に何故？となった。メニューも大して多くなく、味も微妙であまり食べずに出た。夜コンビニに行こうかと思ったが、ビルに併設されてるコンビニの口コミが最悪。行くのをやめた。部屋はよかったがスタッフの対応が悪く二度と行くことはない。

Great location, but staff service can be improved. They at first assigned me a room with very poor view despite we paid for the bay view. We had to walk back down to complain about it before they are willing to switch us to another room. We even arrived earlier than check in time, so I think customer service can be improved.

ホテルの入り口がとても分かりにくく、探すのに時間がかかりました。ぴあアリーナMMでのライブがある際に宿泊するには最適なホテルだと思います。他の観光地への移動はちょっと距離があるな、と感じました。ホテルスタッフの対応はとても感じが良く、ホテル自体も大変綺麗でした。客室の床はじゅうたんではなくクッションフロアでした。窓からは富士山が見えて良かったです。

The hotel itself was nice. However, either when checking in or reading about the hotel services, it would be nice to know, that chances for eating at the hotel restaurant are slim, if you do not have a reservation. Also shocked at the fact that the hotel did not offer room service. So basically there is a big chance, that you can not get food at this hotel. Not something I can't work with, but would be nice to be informed.

The 3rd time staying in Mitsui Garden Hotel Yokohama MM Premier. Friendly staffs, nice room, nice bed and specious. Convenient location to access shopping and train station with walkable stance. If the meals you of breakfast could change a little bit will be great, coz it is almost the same everyday during my 5-day stay.

We booked this last minute as we decided to change plans and don't regret our decision at all! Wonderful hotel with fantastic views! Breakfast was really good with alot of options! The French toast in particular was delicious! The hotel was a little hard to find. We knew it was on the 20th floor but originally we pulled up to the wrong building - the security guard was quick to direct us to the correct building. Parking was easy and once they directed us to the hotel, we had no issues. All in all, I would highly recommend staying here. Metro station is close, lots of food options close by, shopping close and even an amusement park!
