Beautiful hotel with lovely staff, big bright rooms with huge windows and comfortable beds, and a gorgeous 12th floor terrace with views of the city. Plus the terrace isn’t an overcrowded circus like the one at Riu. The location right off Grand Via is great, too — super walkable to all of central Madrid, right next to the metro, just around the corner from the palace and its parks, and on an easy taxi pickup route at the edge of the craziness.

We had an amazing stay at this wonderful hotel. Everything was par excellence except the gym room. It’s very sad for a high end hotel to have a Gymn which is 200 sq feet. Everyone is into fitness and health these days especially when u on vacation u need to burn those calories. You guys need to this into serious consideration and make a real Gymn.

Très bon séjour. Chambre confortable, moderne et très bien équipée. Le petit déjeuner est très bon, dommage qu’il ne soit pas proposé en terrasse. Le coin piscine est très agréable et la taille du bassin appréciable. L’hôtel gagnerait à étendre la plage horaire d’ouverture, actuellement restreinte (11h-19h) et … frustrante compte tenu du temps esyivà. Je recommande cet hôtel très bien placé au centre de Madrid.

Wonderful room with usb points. Comfortable beds, and housekeeping impeccable. Plenty of food options,I personally never tried the food at the hotel so can’t really comment. The hotel was good and the staff was great, from reception to guest services, the concierge and dining everyone was helpful, very friendly and welcoming. We were greeted with treats upon arrival and departure, which was a nice touch. A special recognition goes to Lucia, Santiago and Antonio for helping us book a train ride to Barcelona and plan activities. Now, for the cons. My main reason for giving this hotel a 4 was because we were extremely dissatisfied with the housekeeping services. We were there for a two week stay, yet housekeeping did not bother to change our bed linens at all. This was after we asked both verbally and in writing (in Spanish) on three separate occasions for them to change our bedding. While I understand the importance of being eco-friendly, a guest’s request for a change of linens should be accommodated especially during an extended stay. In fact, on one occasion after our room was “cleaned” we returned to dust and hair on the floor and subsequently had to ask the employee servicing our room on the next day to please vacuum. This should be standard, not a special request. The last few days of our trip we didn’t even bother with housekeeping because their work was subpar. I exclusively stay at five star hotels for the quality of service they offer on all fronts. Irregardless, we still left a tip each time our room was “serviced.” Unfortunately, from the perspective of housekeeping, the VP ESPAÑA fell short given my experience.

The decoration of the hotel was incredibly beautiful, exuding a modern and stylish vibe throughout. The room was larger than those in most hotels and offered a fantastic view. We had a wonderful time! The only area for improvement would be the room service, as they charge €6 for ice delivery. Most high-end hotels typically provide an ice bucket with ice as a complimentary service and bring it upon request.

It’s a beautiful hotel with a luxury modern feel. The breakfast buffet is also phenomenal and the staff are amazing. The only disappointment encountered was that the rooms aren’t very soundproof. We could hear everything from the room above, the opening and closing of doors in the halls and any conversations happening in the hallways. Other than that, the hotel is really beautiful and located in a really convenient place as well!

I chose this hotel based on the location and customer reviews and I was not disappointed. Great location, impressive view, modern and immaculate room. The staff is superb- all the members! The doormen (and a woman), front desk staff, lobby barwoman, cleaning ladies, restaurant staff, spa staff, Miguel (!) - thank you all for making our experience perfect! I hope to be back and would recommend the hotel in a heartbeat!

The worst check-out experienced was here. Alejandro in the reception kept me more than 30 minutes. He doesn’t know how to make check-out and how to make invoice. I was late for my appointment and that caused me problems. He totally destroyed the experience in the hotel

Very disappointing experience. I had a non-refundable reservation and provided full medical documentation showing that my family member was hospitalized unexpectedly and unable to travel. Despite the emergency and clear proof, the hotel refused any flexibility or compassion. They denied a refund and even declined to adjust the reservation dates, offering no real assistance in an exceptional situation. I do not recommend this property for travelers who expect basic understanding or humane treatment when facing genuine emergencies.

When we checked in, the host Maria was super friendly and made sure we felt welcome, well-informed, and taken care of. Our room was gorgeous, clean, and spacious. The location was amazing too - right in the heart of Madrid, close to all the main attractions. And the Sky lounge on the rooftop was the cherry on top - our evenings were incredible! We’d definitely stay there again if we ever go back to Madrid. Thanks a bunch!

I picked this hotel randomly on Expedia, price and location were right. From the moment we walked into the hotel, we felt the professionalism of each and every staff member we came in contact with. Unfortunately I got sick and the staff checked up on me daily, made sure I had food and when I had to go to hospital they supported me in every way possible. The staff made our stay there an unforgettable experience. The hotel Rooms offer everything we have experienced at 5 star hotels. Everything was fantastic. Best find. Would stay there again and highly recommend it.

The hotel is perfect situated and everything is very elegant. Most of the staff are helpful and serviceminded. Nevertheless we had a very bad experience. A newly bought makeup item was removed from our room. It was unpacked and still in the bag. The staff at the reception more or less told us that we just could not find it. No apology or compensation. It never showed up. We are very disappointed regarding this very arrogant behaviour.

Amazing hotel near Royal Palace. Clean and large room. A lot thinking went into room and bathroom set up, inluding enough hooks and space to hang the towels, if there are more than 2 people in the room. We liked that there were shower room and bath tub in the bathroom versus just having bath tub with a shower. Everybody in the hotel made us feel welcome. Kudos to Anthony who was our check in person.

Great location, very clean facilities and room. The buffet each morning was wonderful and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Within walking distance to the royal palace and cathedral (8 min) and just off the Gran Via. The metro stop is a block away and easy to use once you understand the stops and stations. Taxi stop right out the door so very easy to grab one.

My wife and I had a very pleasant three night stay at this hotel.The hotel was lovely and the staff were very friendly and helpful.The only thing for me was that I felt that the breakfast was over priced at €29 per person (€25 if you took it for your entire stay)

This our second stay. The first one was in 2018. The quality of breakfast declined a little. The person who prepares the omelets needs a lot of training. The person who prepared the omelets during our 10-day stay always overcooked the outside of the omelets to a brown color burn, but left the inside very raw. The staff in the breakfast diner is absent minded and not attentive enough.

This is a very nice hotel perfectly located and I recommend . However extremely disappointing that over a three night stay access was denied on 2 consecutive evenings to use the sky bar because of external functions . Hotel offered words of apology by why do it ? The guest is paying for these facilities . In addition on our leaving morning the spa was also closed due to ” water issues” not sure why this would affect use of the sauna. O

Très belle endroit , par contre personnel du resto glinko pas très serviable , @ 18:30 resto presque vide et aucune place pour des clients de l’hôtel!!! Pourtant la réception nous avait mentionné qu’il y a toujours des disponibilités pour les clients et en plus nous avons un statut gold . Bref très mauvais accueil à ce resto , désappointement.

The location is ideal. Access to all shopping areas, plazas and restaurants very close by. The restaurant Botania at the hotel is exceptional as well as the services offered by the front desk. The pool and spa were wonderful, necessary after all the walking. Highly recommended!! Will be back next summer.

Breakfast buffet didn’t have much variety. French toast were delicious, scrambled eggs too watery. Staff was great! Totally enjoyed our stay here would definitely recommend it
