Luxurious property. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Gold status not recognised until prompted. Despite the breakfast buffet being high quality and huge, the busy breakfast room (with sticky tables) reminds you this is a big hotel. Nobu restaurant superb. Other food only 8/10.

The room was large and spotless and the view of Table Mountain was spectacular. The little gifts left after turndown were a beautiful touch, quite fitting to the whole hotel. Last but no least the guest experience staff and concierge staff were amazing and made our visit that bit more special. If we can, we will definately be back.

The hotel itself is great but the room service staff was comically bad. Orders would take longer than one hour to arrive, items were ALWAYS missing. One time they called us at 1:30am to confirm our breakfast order (waking us up!) and then still got the order wrong 😂 really odd in a 5 star hotel.

The property is conveniently located near the market and table mountain. Everything was so close - either walking distance or a short drive away. The staff was incredibly accommodating. We were assigned a host but never formally met him/her However , Tash was the premier concierge!! His recommendations were spot on and he scheduled all of our activities which lead to a superb vacation for my husband and I.

Spa booking done for 2 x persons, were given time of 16.50pm which I thought as weird time, so went to Spa to confirm to find that booking was done for 16.15 but only for 1 x persons. If I haden,t hone past to check, we woulden,t had the booking. Staff in experienced I guess. Hotel water drains need attention as there is a bad smell in showers. Heve stayed in vatious rooms and same smell Food in pool restaurant not for 5 star standard.Otherwise nice stay and great service.
