The room was small but very nice and welll equipped. Roof deck views are amazing with small pool and sveral trypes of seating up there (including shaded area). Nice equipped gym I used most days. Staff friendliness and location are reasons I choose this for two long stays in city. Gen Manager Rodney is excellent.

I was particularly frustrated with the hotel given that the rooftop pool, a key attraction and point of selection for me, had been closed for maintenance for a month and yet this was not noted on the booking site nor was any compensation offered. Room cleaning is erratic even when out of the room/hotel for most of the day.

Good hotel, the room was nice and the location is pretty good. The rooftop is awesome! The only negative experience we had was a call from staff at 11pm on our first night to say they forgot to ask me to sign something, which wasn't a nice experience as we were already in bed about to fall asleep. But the staff were nice overall, specially the restaurant staff at dinner time!

A three night weekend I would care to forget. Firstly I had made the reservation with the option to pay at the property, more than six months ago. 5 days before arrival I was informed that if I didn’t pay immediately my booking would be released. The reason- they were very busy so they were able to sell the room to someone else if not paid in full. They advertise parking although be warned, there’s no security in place so parking is not necessarily reserved for guests. If the parking is full, park in the street with very little concern by staff other than to phone at 11;30 at night and advise you to move your vehicle closer to the hotel. Badly managed, badly run and not worth a second visit.

Great mattress and shower at a reasonable rate for location, gym, terrace and Pool. On that basis I would, and hope to , stay again. Some of the meals in restaurant were really excellent but breakfast seemed overpriced - far tastier breakfast and better price at Cushty's Deli next door.

The room was nice, the pool was awesome.the breakfast was okay. But unfortunately the dinner was not that good. Two time we ordered something and they gave us something else. The meat was not how I asked it. The curry was really good. What I don't understand is the last evening we were the only table in the restaurant, we came around 19.00 (dinner starts from 18.30) but still it took an hour to prepare a pizza and bake some meat. That is really not done. Every other evening it takes more then an hour to prepare our foot while there were only 3 tables at the restaurant. We ale opted for dinner and breakfast option on Expedia. But dinner on expedia means something else for the hotel. We received some voucher for the 3 evenings. Okay it was 350 south african rand per person, which is more or less enough for us. But if you want a starter, main, dessert and wine our beer than it is not enough and you have to pay for the difference. Also something strange was, I contacted via the email form from the hotel to book a taxi from the aiport to the hotel. When we arrived somebody from the reception said we paid to much, he could booked something cheaper. So the reception and somebody else from the hotel are booking other taxis???? So we were ripped off???? Conclusion, the rooms were good, we slept good.

The staff are superb. They do need to mop the floors in the rooms, they were very dirty. No face (wash cloths which is a norm for the country) Not very close to activities or restaurants, but we are both very active and have no issue with walking (weather permitting) Lovely place thou,

The hotel is in an excellent location; lots of dining options within a half mile. We had no concerns about walking around. The room was clean and staff was extremely courteous and helpful. One suggestion: please make sure housekeeping is not stingy about coffee pods!

The location convenient to the V& A waterfront and the Sea Point Boardwalk. Some restaurants in the area around Main St. One night the fire alarm went off then afterwards a light on the fire alarm kept flashing, called the desk but no response until morning when they said it would get resolved. Price was good and room clean and efficiently laid out, think European in size and details.

The hotel is very neat and new. However, the rooms even on the 3rd floor are not very soundproof and the noise from the neighbouring backpackers and road is very loud and could disturb light sleepers

Good value modern accommodation in a good location for me - not in the middle of town and opposite a park. Greenpark restaurants five minutes walk away (towards city centre) and my favourite Butchers Shop steakhouse on the other side of the park. I use local bus services (to Camps Bay and Hout Bay) to save me hiring a car and a stop was outside the front door. Otherwise I use Uber which is excellent. About a 20-25 minutes walk to the Waterfront which is fine if it’s not too hot. The in-house restaurant is fine if you want a plate of something nice at the end of the day. My bedroom was on the Main Road side which would not be suitable for light sleepers. On two mornings I got down to breakfast after 9.00am when the buffet had some items missing and was not warm and fresh.

The room was very comfortable and clean. My biggest concern is the amount of noise from other guests. Every morning we were woken up from people slamming their doors shut. I could hear conversations from people in the hallway and phones ringing/coughing from the rooms next to me. Additionally, the area is far from the waterfront and it is not safe to walk around at night. There is limited dining options nearby but the hotel restaurant was delicious for breakfast and dinner. It is also very easy and safe to use uber. All of the staff other than Miranda at the front desk were kind, helpful, and friendly. Miranda was very dismissive and disrespectful to my family and I when we kindly asked her to stay in our room when we booked an additional night. That was a very disappointing experience.

Lovely place, not very convenient for those that can't or don't want to walk to the restaurants, shopping etc. Most are about a 20-minute walk away. V&A and cruise port is about a 30-minute walk. We did not like that there was no vanity to put cosmetics, etc.. No Microwave or Fridge. No washcloth. I always carry one with me at all times.

Very disappointed as when we checked we were allocated the wrong room with guest in it already , the morning we came down for breakfast with absolute no structure at the place at all we had to ask for assistance all the time weren’t even offered coffee nothing. I would say this hotel is under very poor management

We were treated so terribly, we ended up checking out earlier. we had to find another accommodation. They made us feel like were asking for free accommodation. We were told we can't be in the room next to each other or same floor because they have ground booking coming. But we also booked to stay with them. There were no welcome water in our rooms. We asked for it, they gave us water with dirty bottles. It had lipstick on it. Thats how terrible we were treated. We had no other choice but to check before we could be poisoned. They promised to charged one night for canceling and refund the rest, but we are still waiting for the refund even today. As for me and my family we will never ever book with this hotel. Anyone can take their chances with them, maybe they will have a better experience.

We were told we can't be in the room next to each other or same floor because they have ground booking coming. But we also booked to stay with them. There were no welcome water in our rooms. We asked for it, they gave us water with dirty bottles. It had lipstick on it. Thats how terrible we were treated. We had no other choice but to check before we could be poisoned. They promised to charged one night for canceling and refund the rest, but we are still waiting for the refund even today. As for me and my family we will never ever book with this hotel. Anyone can take their chances with them, maybe they will have a better experience.

Good hotel, the room was nice and the location is pretty good. The rooftop is awesome! The only negative experience we had was a call from staff at 11pm on our first night to say they forgot to ask me to sign something, which wasn't a nice experience as we were already in bed about to fall asleep. But the staff were nice overall, specially the restaurant staff at dinner time!

Good value modern accommodation in a good location for me - not in the middle of town and opposite a park. Greenpark restaurants five minutes walk away (towards city centre) and my favourite Butchers Shop steakhouse on the other side of the park. I use local bus services (to Camps Bay and Hout Bay) to save me hiring a car and a stop was outside the front door. Otherwise I use Uber which is excellent. About a 20-25 minutes walk to the Waterfront which is fine if it’s not too hot. The in-house restaurant is fine if you want a plate of something nice at the end of the day. My bedroom was on the Main Road side which would not be suitable for light sleepers. On two mornings I got down to breakfast after 9.00am when the buffet had some items missing and was not warm and fresh.

The room was very comfortable and clean. My biggest concern is the amount of noise from other guests. Every morning we were woken up from people slamming their doors shut. I could hear conversations from people in the hallway and phones ringing/coughing from the rooms next to me. Additionally, the area is far from the waterfront and it is not safe to walk around at night. There is limited dining options nearby but the hotel restaurant was delicious for breakfast and dinner. It is also very easy and safe to use uber. All of the staff other than Miranda at the front desk were kind, helpful, and friendly. Miranda was very dismissive and disrespectful to my family and I when we kindly asked her to stay in our room when we booked an additional night. That was a very disappointing experience.

The hotel is in an excellent location; lots of dining options within a half mile. We had no concerns about walking around. The room was clean and staff was extremely courteous and helpful. One suggestion: please make sure housekeeping is not stingy about coffee pods!

We stayed 2 nights pre cruise and 2 nights post cruise. Lovely place, not very convenient for those that can't or don't want to walk to the restaurants, shopping etc. Most are about a 20-minute walk away. V&A and cruise port is about a 30-minute walk. We did not like that there was no vanity to put cosmetics, etc.. No Microwave or Fridge. No washcloth. I always carry one with me at all times.

Lovely position easy to walk into the centre or the waterfront. Room spacious and comfortable. Breakfast wasn't anything special, food wasn't too hot, and the cold selection was OK for the first couple of days afterwards the selection was poor. Also appeared that they were short of coffee sachets.

Great mattress and shower at a reasonable rate for location, gym, terrace and Pool. On that basis I would, and hope to , stay again. Some of the meals in restaurant were really excellent but breakfast seemed overpriced - far tastier breakfast and better price at Cushty's Deli next door.

The room was nice, the pool was awesome.the breakfast was okay. But unfortunately the dinner was not that good. Two time we ordered something and they gave us something else. The meat was not how I asked it. The curry was really good. What I don't understand is the last evening we were the only table in the restaurant, we came around 19.00 (dinner starts from 18.30) but still it took an hour to prepare a pizza and bake some meat. That is really not done. Every other evening it takes more then an hour to prepare our foot while there were only 3 tables at the restaurant. We ale opted for dinner and breakfast option on Expedia. But dinner on expedia means something else for the hotel. We received some voucher for the 3 evenings. Okay it was 350 south african rand per person, which is more or less enough for us. But if you want a starter, main, dessert and wine our beer than it is not enough and you have to pay for the difference. Also something strange was, I contacted via the email form from the hotel to book a taxi from the aiport to the hotel. When we arrived somebody from the reception said we paid to much, he could booked something cheaper. So the reception and somebody else from the hotel are booking other taxis???? So we were ripped off???? Conclusion, the rooms were good, we slept good.

An excellent budget hotel. The rooms are small but spacious enough for 2 people for a week. The room was clean, but despite being advertised as a sea view, you couldnt see the sea, just the main road which was also very loud. The gym was small but open 24hrs and well equiped. The staff were friendly and helpful.
